1 Re 11

1 ORA il re Salomone amò, oltre alla figliuola di Faraone, molte donne straniere, Moabite, Ammonite, Idumee, Sidonie, Hittee,

And the king Solomon he loved women foreign many and [the] daughter of Pharaoh Moabite [women] Ammonite [women] Edomite [women] Sidonian [women] Hittite [women].

2 delle nazioni delle quali il Signore avea detto a' figliuoli di Israele: Non entrate da esse, ed esse non entrino da voi; per certo esse faranno rivolgere il cuor vostro dietro ai loro dii; a quelle si congiunse Salomone per amore.

From the nations which he had said Yahweh to [the] people of Israel not you must go among them and they not they will go among you truly they will turn aside heart your after gods their to them he cleaved Solomon to love [them].

3 Ed ebbe settecento donne principesse, e trecento concubine; e le sue donne sviarono il suo cuore.

And it belonged to him wives noble ladies seven hundred and concubines three hundred and they turned aside wives his heart his.

4 Al tempo della sua vecchiezza avvenne che le sue donne sviarono il suo cuore dietro ad altri dii; ed il suo cuore non fu intiero inverso il Signore Iddio suo, come [era stato] il cuor di Davide, suo padre.

And it was to [the] time of [the] old age of Solomon wives his they turned aside heart his after gods other and not it was heart his complete with Yahweh God his like [the] heart of David father his.

5 E Salomone andò dietro ad Astoret, dio de' Sidonii; e dietro a Milcom, abbominazione degli Ammoniti.

And he walked Solomon after Astarte [the] god of [the] Sidonians and after Milcom [the] detestable thing of [the] Ammonites.

6 Così Salomone fece ciò che dispiace al Signore; e non seguitò il Signore appieno, come [avea fatto] Davide, suo padre.

And he did Solomon the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and not he filled after Yahweh like David father his.

7 Allora Salomone edificò un alto luogo a Chemos, abbominazione di Moab, nel monte ch'[è] dirimpetto a Gerusalemme; ed a Molec, abbominazione de' figliuoli di Ammon.

Then he built Solomon a high place for Chemosh [the] detestable thing of Moab on the mountain which [is] on [the] face of Jerusalem and for Molech [the] detestable thing of [the] people of Ammon.

8 Il simigliante fece per tutte le sue donne straniere, le quali facevano profumi, e sacrificavano agl'iddii loro.

And thus he did for all wives his foreign [who] made smoke and [who] sacrificed to gods their.

9 Perciò il Signore si adirò contro a Salomone, perchè il suo cuore s'era sviato dal Signore Iddio d'Israele, che gli era apparito due volte.

And he was angry Yahweh with Solomon for it had turned aside heart his from with Yahweh [the] God of Israel who had appeared to him two times.

10 E gli avea fatto comandamento intorno a questo, ch'egli non andasse dietro ad altri dii; ma egli non osservò ciò che il Signore avea comandato.

And he had commanded to him on the matter this to not to walk after gods other and not he observed [that] which he had commanded Yahweh.

11 E il Signore disse a Salomone: Perciocchè questo è stato in te, e tu non hai osservato il mio patto, ed i miei statuti, i quali io ti avea imposti; io del tutto straccerò il reame d'addosso a te, e lo darò al tuo servitore.

And he said Yahweh to Solomon because that it has been this with you and not you have observed covenant my and statutes my which I commanded to you certainly I will tear away the kingdom from with you and I will give it to servant your.

12 Ma pure, per amor di Davide, tuo padre, io non farò questo a' tuoi dì; io lo straccerò d'infra le mani del tuo figliuolo.

Only in days your not I will do it for [the] sake of David father your from [the] hand of son your I will tear away it.

13 Nondimeno, io non istraccerò tutto il reame; io ne darò una tribù al tuo figliuolo, per amor di Davide, mio servitore; e per amor di Gerusalemme, che io ho eletta.

Only all the kingdom not I will tear away a tribe one I will give to son your for [the] sake of David servant my and for [the] sake of Jerusalem which I have chosen.

14 IL Signore adunque fece sorgere un avversario a Salomone, [cioè] Hadad Idumeo, [ch'era] del sangue reale di Edom.

And he raised up Yahweh an adversary to Solomon Hadad the Edomite [was] one of [the] offspring the king he in Edom.

15 Perciocchè avvenne, quando Davide era in Idumea, allora che Ioab, Capo dell'esercito, salì per far sotterrar gli uccisi, e percosse tutti i maschi d'Idumea

And it was when was David Edom when went up Joab [the] commander of the army to bury the [ones] slain and he struck down every male in Edom.

16 (perciocchè Ioab, con tutto Israele, dimorò quivi sei mesi, finchè ebbe distrutti tutti i maschi d'Idumea),

For six months he remained there Joab and all Israel until he had cut off every male in Edom.

17 che Hadad se ne fuggì, con alcuni uomini Idumei, de' servitori di suo padre, per ridursi in Egitto. (Or Hadad [era] giovanetto.)

And he fled Hadad he and people Edomite some of [the] servants of father his with him to go Egypt and Hadad [was] a youth young.

18 Costoro adunque si partirono di Madian, e vennero in Paran, e presero con loro degli uomini di Paran, e vennero in Egitto a Faraone, re di Egitto, il quale diede ad Hadad una casa, e gli assegnò il suo vitto, ed anche gli diede una terra.

And they arose from Midian and they went Paran and they took men with them from Paran and they went Egypt to Pharaoh [the] king of Egypt and he gave to him a house and food he assigned to him and land he gave to him.

19 Ed Hadad venne molto in grazia di Faraone; ed esso gli diede per moglie la sorella della sua moglie, la sorella della regina Tafnes.

And he found Hadad favor in [the] eyes of Pharaoh exceedingly and he gave to him a wife [the] sister of own wife his [the] sister of Tahpenes the queen.

20 E la sorella di Tafnes gli partorì Ghenubat, suo figliuolo, il quale Tafnes allevò nella casa di Faraone; e Ghenubat fu nella casa di Faraone per mezzo i figliuoli di esso.

And she bore to him [the] sister of Tahpenes Genubath son his and she weaned him Tahpenes in [the] midst of [the] household of Pharaoh and he was Genubath [the] house of Pharaoh in among [the] sons of Pharaoh.

21 Ora, quando Hadad ebbe inteso in Egitto, che Davide giaceva co' suoi padri, e che Ioab, capo dell'esercito, era morto, disse a Faraone: Dammi licenza che io me ne vada al mio paese.

And Hadad he heard in Egypt that he had lain down David with ancestors his and that he had died Joab [the] commander of the army and he said Hadad to Pharaoh let go me so I may go to own land my.

22 E Faraone gli disse: Ma che ti manca appresso di me, che ecco tu cerchi di andartene al tuo paese? Ed gli disse: Nulla; ma pur dammi licenza.

And he said to him Pharaoh that what? [are] you lacking with me and here you [are] seeking to go to own land your and he said - In-deed really you will let go me.

23 Iddio fece ancora sorgere un [altro] avversario a Salomone, [cioè]: Rezon, figliuolo d'Eliada, il quale se n'era fuggito d'appresso Hadadezer, re di Soba, suo signore.

And he raised up God to him an adversary Rezon [the] son of Eliada who he had fled from with Hadadezer [the] king of Zobah master his.

24 Or egli adunò appresso di sè della gente, e fu capo di scherani, quando Davide uccideva quella gente. Poi [egli ed i suoi] andarono in Damasco, e dimorarono quivi, e regnarono in Damasco.

And he gathered with him men and he was [the] leader of a marauding band when killed David them and they went Damascus and they dwelt in it and they reigned in Damascus.

25 E [Rezon] fu avversario ad Israele tutto il tempo di Salomone, oltre al male che [fece] Hadad; ed infestò Israele, e regnò sopra la Siria.

And he was an adversary of Israel all [the] days of Solomon and harm which Hadad and he loathed Israel and he reigned over Aram.

26 GEROBOAMO ancora, figliuolo di Nebat Efrateo, da Sereda, servo di Salomone, il nome della cui madre [era] Serua, donna vedova, si levò contro al re.

And Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat an Ephrathite from Zeredah and [the] name of mother his [was] Zeruah a woman a widow a servant of Solomon and he raised a hand on the king.

27 E questa [fu] la cagione, per la quale si levò contro al re: Salomone edificava Millo, [e] chiudeva la rottura della Città di Davide, suo padre.

And this [is] the reason why he raised a hand on the king Solomon he built the Millo he closed up [the] breach of [the] city of David father his.

28 Or quell'uomo Geroboamo [era] valente e prode; e Salomone, veggendo il giovane che lavorava, l'ordinò sopra [quelli del]la casa di Giuseppe, che portavano pesi.

And the man Jeroboam [was] a mighty [man] of strength and he saw Solomon the young man that [was] doing work he and he appointed him to all [the] forced labor of [the] house of Joseph.

29 Ora, essendo in quel tempo Geroboamo uscito fuor di Gerusalemme, il profeta Ahia Silonita lo trovò per la via, vestito d'una vesta nuova; ed [erano] amendue soli in su la campagna.

And it was at the time that and Jeroboam he had gone out from Jerusalem and he found him Ahijah Shilonite the prophet on the way and he [was] covering himself with a cloak new and [the] two of them to alone them [were] in the open country.

30 Ed Ahia prese la vesta nuova ch'egli avea indosso, e la stracciò in dodici pezzi.

And he seized Ahijah the cloak new which [was] on him and he tore it two plus ten pieces.

31 E disse a Geroboamo: Prenditene dieci pezzi; perciocchè il Signore Iddio d'Israele ha detto così: Ecco, io straccio il reame d'infra le mani di Salomone, e te ne darò dieci tribù.

And he said to Jeroboam take for yourself ten pieces for thus he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel here I [am] about to tear the kingdom from [the] hand of Solomon and I will give to you ten the tribes.

32 Ed a lui ne resterà una tribù, per amor di Davide, suo padre, e per amor di Gerusalemme, [che è] la città ch'io ho eletta d'infra tutte le tribù d'Israele.

And the tribe one it will belong to him for [the] sake of - servant my David and for [the] sake of Jerusalem the city which I have chosen it from all [the] tribes of Israel.

33 Perciocchè essi mi hanno abbandonato, ed hanno adorato Astoret, dio de' Sidonii, [e] Chemos, dio de' Moabiti, e Milcom, dio de' figliuoli di Ammon; e non son camminati nelle mie vie, per far ciò che mi piace, [e per mettere in opera] i miei statuti, e le mie leggi, come [fece] Davide, padre di Salomone.

Because - that they have forsaken me and they have bowed down to Astarte [the] god of [the] Sidonians to Chemosh [the] god of Moab and to Milcom [the] god of [the] people of Ammon and not they have walked in ways my by doing the right in eyes my and statutes my and judgments my like David father his.

34 Ma pure io non torrò dalle mani di lui nulla di tutto il reame; anzi lo manterrò principe tutto il tempo della vita sua, per amor di Davide, mio servitore, che io ho eletto, il quale ha osservati i miei comandamenti ed i miei statuti.

And not I will take all the kingdom from hand his for - ruler I will make him all [the] days of life his for [the] sake of David servant my whom I chose him who he observed commandments my and statutes my.

35 Ma io torrò il reame di mano al suo figliuolo, e ne darò a te dieci tribù;

And I will take the kingship from [the] hand of son his and I will give it to you [the] ten the tribes.

36 ed al suo figliuolo ne darò una tribù; acciocchè vi resti del continuo una lampana a Davide, mio servitore, davanti a me, in Gerusalemme, [che è] la città, la quale io ho eletta per mettervi il mio Nome.

And to son his I will give a tribe one so as to belong a lamp to David servant my all the days - before me in Jerusalem the city which I have chosen for myself to put name my there.

37 Io adunque ti prenderò, e tu regnerai interamente secondo il desiderio dell'anima tua, e sarai re sopra Israele.

And you I will take and you will reign over all that it will desire self your and you will be king over Israel.

38 Ed avverrà che, se tu ubbidisci a tutto quello che io ti comanderò, e cammini nelle mie vie, e fai ciò che mi piace, osservando i miei statuti ed i miei comandamenti, come ha fatto Davide, mio servitore, io sarò teco, e ti edificherò una casa stabile, come io l'avea edificata a Davide, e ti darò Israele.

And it will be if you will listen to all that I will command you and you will walk in ways my and you will do the right in eyes my by observing statutes my and commandments my just as he did David servant my and I will be with you and I will build for you a house enduring just as I built for David and I will give to you Israel.

39 Ed io affliggerò la progenie di Davide per questo, ma non già in perpetuo.

So I may afflicted [the] offspring of David on account of this nevertheless not all the days.

40 Perciò Salomone cercò di far morire Geroboamo; ma egli si levò, e se ne fuggì in Egitto, a Sisac, re di Egitto, e dimorò in Egitto fino alla morte di Salomone.

And he sought Solomon to put to death Jeroboam and he arose Jeroboam and he fled Egypt to Shishak [the] king of Egypt and he was in Egypt until [the] death of Solomon.

41 ORA, quant'è al rimanente dei fatti di Salomone, ed a quello ch'egli fece, ed alla sua sapienza; queste cose non [sono] esse scritte nel Libro dei fatti di Salomone?

And [the] rest of [the] matters of Solomon and all that he did and wisdom his ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of Solomon.

42 Ora il tempo che Salomone regnò in Gerusalemme sopra tutto Israele, [fu] di quarant'anni.

And the days which he reigned Solomon in Jerusalem over all Israel [were] forty year[s].

43 Poi Salomone giacque co' suoi padri, e fu seppellito nella Città di Davide, suo padre; e Roboamo, suo figliuolo, regnò in luogo suo.

And he lay down Solomon with ancestors his and he was buried in [the] city of David father his and he became king Rehoboam son his in place of him.
