1 Corinzi 16
1 ORA, quant'è alla colletta che [si fa] per i santi, come ne ho ordinato alle chiese della Galazia, così ancor fate voi.
Concerning the gathering for the Saintes, as I haue ordeined in the Churches of Galatia, so doe ye also.
2 Ogni primo [giorno] della settimana ciascun di voi riponga appresso di sè ciò che gli sarà comodo; acciocchè, quando io sarò venuto, le collette non si abbiano [più] a fare.
Euery first day of the weeke, let euery one of you put aside by himselfe, and lay vp as God hath prospered him, that then there be no gatherings when I come.
3 E quando io sarò giunto, io manderò coloro che voi avrete approvati per lettere a portar la vostra liberalità in Gerusalemme.
And when I am come, whomsoeuer ye shall alowe by letters, them will I send to bring your liberalitie vnto Hierusalem.
4 E se converrà ch'io stesso ci vada, essi verranno meco.
And if it be meete that I goe also, they shall goe with me.
5 OR io verrò a voi, dopo che sarò passato per la Macedonia, perciocchè io passerò per la Macedonia.
Nowe I will come vnto you, after I haue gone through Macedonia (for I will passe through Macedonia.)
6 E forse farò qualche dimora appresso di voi, ovvero ancora ci vernerò; acciocchè voi mi accompagniate dovunque io andrò.
And it may be that I will abide, yea, or winter with you, that ye may bring me on my way, whither soeuer I goe.
7 Perciocchè io non voglio questa volta vedervi di passaggio; ma spero dimorar qualche tempo appresso di voi, se il Signore lo permette.
For I will not see you nowe in my passage, but I trust to abide a while with you, if the Lord permit.
8 Or io resterò in Efeso fino alla Pentecosta.
And I wil tary at Ephesus vntill Pentecost.
9 Perciocchè una grande ed efficace porta mi è aperta; e [vi son] molti avversari.
For a great doore and effectuall is opened vnto me: and there are many aduersaries.
10 Ora, se Timoteo viene, vedete ch'egli stia sicuramente appresso di voi; perciocchè egli si adopera nell'opera del Signore, come io stesso.
Nowe if Timotheus come, see that he be without feare with you: for he worketh the worke of the Lord, euen as I doe.
11 Niuno adunque lo sprezzi, anzi accompagnatelo in pace, acciocchè egli venga a me; perciocchè io l'aspetto co' fratelli.
Let no man therefore despise him: but conuey him foorth in peace, that he may come vnto me: for I looke for him with the brethren.
12 Ora, quant'è al fratello Apollo, io l'ho molto confortato di andare a voi co' fratelli; ma egli del tutto non ha avuta volontà di andarvi ora; ma pur [vi] andrà, quando avrà l'opportunità.
As touching our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him, to come vnto you with the brethren: but his mind was not at all to come at this time: howbeit he will come when he shall haue conuenient time.
13 Vegliate, state fermi nella fede, portatevi virilmente, fortificatevi.
Watch ye: stand fast in the faith: quite you like men, and be strong.
14 Tutte le cose vostre facciansi con carità.
Let all your things be done in loue.
15 Ora, fratelli, io vi esorto che (voi conoscete la famiglia di Stefana, [e sapete] che è le primizie dell'Acaia e che si son dedicati al servigio de' santi)
Nowe brethren, I beseeche you (ye knowe the house of Stephanas, that it is the first fruites of Achaia, and that they haue giuen themselues to minister vnto the Saintes)
16 voi ancora vi sottomettiate a tali, ed a chiunque si adopera, e s'affatica nell'opera comune.
That ye be obedient euen vnto such, and to all that helpe with vs and labour.
17 Or io mi rallegro della venuta di Stefana, e di Fortunato, e d'Acaico; poichè hanno supplito alla vostra assenza.
I am glad of the comming of Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus: for they haue supplied the want of you.
18 Perciocchè hanno ricreato lo spirito mio, ed il vostro; riconoscete adunque coloro che son tali.
For they haue comforted my spirite and yours: acknowledge therefore such men.
19 Le chiese dell'Asia vi salutano; Aquila, e Priscilla, insieme con la chiesa [che è] nella lor casa, vi salutano molto nel Signore.
The Churches of Asia salute you: Aquila and Priscilla with ye Church that is in their house, salute you greatly in the Lord.
20 Tutti i fratelli vi salutano; salutatevi gli uni gli altri con un santo bacio.
All the brethren greete you. Greete ye one another, with an holy kisse.
21 Il saluto di man [propria] di me Paolo.
The salutation of me Paul with mine owne hand.
22 Se alcuno non ama il Signor Gesù Cristo, sia anatema! Maranata.
If any man loue not the Lord Iesus Christ, let him be had in execration maran-atha.
23 La grazia del Signor Gesù Cristo [sia] con voi.
The grace of our Lord Iesus Christ be with you.
24 La mia carità [sia] con tutti voi, in Cristo Gesù. Amen.
My loue be with you all in Christ Iesus, Amen. ‘The first Epistle to the Corinthians, written from Philippi, and sent by Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus, and Timotheus.’
