1 Cronache 9
1 COSÌ tutti gl'Israeliti furono annoverati per le lor generazioni; ed ecco, sono descritti nel libro dei re d'Israele. Ora, dopo che que' di Giuda furono stati menati in cattività in Babilonia, per li lor misfatti;
Thus all Israel were nombred by their genealogies: and beholde, they are written in the booke of the Kings of Israel and of Iudah, and they were caried away to Babel for their transgression.
2 e che i primieri abitatori, ch'[erano] altre volte dimorati nelle lor possessioni, furono ritornati nelle lor città: Israeliti, sacerdoti, Leviti, e Netinei;
And the chiefe inhabitants that dwelt in their owne possessions, and in their owne cities, euen Israel the Priestes, the Leuites, and the Nethinims.
3 in Gerusalemme abitarono dei figliuoli di Giuda, e de' figliuoli di Beniamino, e de' figliuoli di Efraim e di Manasse:
And in Ierusalem dwelt of the children of Iudah, and of the children of Beniamin, and of the children of Ephraim, and Manasseh.
4 Utai, figliuolo di Ammihud, figliuolo di Omri, figliuolo d'Imri, figliuolo di Bani, de' figliuoli di Fares, figliuolo di Giuda.
Vthai the sonne of Amihud the sonne of Omri, the sonne of Imri, the sonne of Bani: of the children of Pharez, the sonne of Iudah.
5 E de' Siloniti: Asaia il primogenito, ed i suoi figliuoli.
And of Shiloni, Asaiah the eldest, and his sonnes.
6 E de' figliuoli di Zara: Ieuel, ed i suoi fratelli [in numero di] seicennovanta.
And the sonnes of Zerah, Ieuel, and their brethren sixe hundreth and ninetie.
7 E de' figliuoli di Beniamino: Sallu, figliuolo di Mesullam, figliuolo di Hodavia, figliuolo di Hassenua;
And of the sonnes of Beniamin, Sallu the sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Hodauiah, the sonne of Hasenuah,
8 ed Ibnea, figliuolo di Ieroham, ed Ela, figliuolo di Uzzi, figliuolo di Micri; e Mesullam, figliuolo di Sefatia, figliuolo di Reuel, figliuolo d'Ibnia;
And Ibneiah the sonne of Ieroham, and Elah the sonne of Vzzi, the sonne of Michri, and Meshullam the sonne of Shephatiah, the sonne of Reuel, the sonne of Ibniiah.
9 ed i lor fratelli, [spartiti] per le lor generazioni, [in numero di] novecencinquantasei; tutti coloro [furono] capi di [famiglie] paterne della casa de' lor padri.
And their brethren according to their generations nine hundreth, fiftie and sixe: all these men were chiefe fathers in the housholdes of their fathers.
10 E de' sacerdoti: Iedaia, e Ioiarib, e Iachin;
And of the Priestes, Iedaiah, and Iehoiarib, and Iachin,
11 ed Azaria, figliuolo d'Hilchia, figliuolo di Mesullam, figliuolo di Sadoc, figliuolo di Meraiot, figliuolo di Ahitub, conduttore della Casa di Dio.
And Azariah the sonne of Hilkiah, ye sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Zadok, the sonne of Meraioth, the sonne of Ahitub the chiefe of the house of God,
12 Ed Adaia, figliuolo di Ieroham, figliuolo di Pashur, figliuolo di Malchia; e Masai, figliuolo di Adiel, figliuolo di Iazera, figliuolo di Mesullam, figliuolo di Messillemit, figliuolo d'Immer;
And Adaiah the sonne of Ieroham, ye sonne of Pashur, the sonne of Malchiiah, and Maasai the sonne of Adiel, the sonne of Iahzerah, the sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Meshillemith, the sonne of Immer.
13 co' lor fratelli, capi delle lor famiglie paterne, [in numero di] millesettecensessanta, [uomini] prodi e valenti, [per] l'opera del servigio della Casa di Dio.
And their brethre the chiefe of the households of their fathers a thousand, seuen hundreth and three score valiant men, for the worke of the seruice of the house of God.
14 E de' Leviti: Semaia, figliuolo di Hassub, figliuolo di Azricam, figliuolo di Hasabia, de' figliuoli di Merari.
And of the Leuites, Shemaiah the sonne of Hasshub, the sonne of Azrikam, the sonne of Hashabiah of the sonnes of Merari,
15 E Bacbaccar, ed Heres, e Galal, e Mattania, figliuolo di Mica, figliuolo di Zicri, figliuolo di Asaf;
And Bakbakkar, Heresh and Galal, and Mattaniah the sonne of Micha, the sonne of Zichri, the sonne of Asaph,
16 ed Obaidia, figliuolo di Semaia, figliuolo di Galal, figliuolo di Iedutun; e Berechia, figliuolo di Asa, figliuolo di Elcana, il quale abitò nelle villate de' Netofatiti.
And Obadiah the sonne of Shemaiah, the sonne of Galal, the sonne of Ieduthun, and Berechiah, the sonne of Asa, the sonne of Elkanah, that dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.
17 E de' portinai: Sallum, ed Accub, e Talmon, ed Ahiman, co' lor fratelli, [dei quali fu] capo Sallum;
And the porters were Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and their brethren: Shallum was the chiefe.
18 e [lo è] infino ad ora, ed [ha la guardia] della porta del re, verso Oriente; costoro [furono] portinai, fra le schiere de' figliuoli di Levi;
For they were porters to this time by companies of the children of Leui vnto the Kinges gate eastward.
19 come Sallum, figliuolo di Core, figliuolo di Ebiasaf, figliuolo di Core, ed i suoi fratelli Coriti, della casa paterna di esso, nell'opera del ministerio [erano stati] guardiani della soglia del Tabernacolo; come i lor padri nel campo del Signore, [erano stati] guardiani dell'entrata;
And Shallum the sonne of Kore the sonne of Ebiasaph the sonne of Korah, and his brethren the Korathites (of the house of their father) were ouer the worke, and office to keepe the gates of the Tabernacle: so their families were ouer the hoste of the Lord, keeping the entrie.
20 e Finees, figliuolo di Eleazaro, col quale il Signore [era], anticamente era stato conduttore sopra loro;
And Phinehas ye sonne of Eleazar was their guide, and the Lord was with him.
21 [e come] Zaccaria, figliuolo di Meselemia, [era stato] portinaio dell'entrata del Tabernacolo della convenenza.
Zechariah the sonne of Meshelemiah was the porter of the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
22 Tutti questi [sono] quelli che [furono] scelti per portinai nelle soglie, [in numero di] dugento dodici. Essi furono annoverati per le lor generazioni nelle lor villate. ([Or] Davide, e il veggente Samuele, li aveano stabiliti nell'ufficio loro.)
All these were chosen for porters of the gates, two hundreth and twelue, which were nombred according to their genealogies by their townes. Dauid established these and Samuel the Seer in their perpetuall office.
23 Ed essi, e i lor figliuoli, [erano costituiti] sopra le porte della Casa del Signore, della Casa del Tabernacolo, per [far] la guardia a vicenda.
So they and their children had the ouersight of the gates of the house of the Lord, euen of the house of the Tabernacle by wardes.
24 I portinai erano disposti per li quattro venti: dall'Oriente, dall'Occidente, dal Settentrione, e dal Mezzodì.
The porters were in foure quarters Eastward, Westward, Northward and Southward.
25 E i lor fratelli, [ch'erano] nelle lor villate, [aveano] da venire a [dimorar] con essi per sette giorni, di tempo in tempo.
And their brethren, which were in their townes, came at seuen dayes from time to time with them.
26 Perciocchè quei quattro maggiori portinai Leviti [erano] del continuo in ufficio, ed aveano la cura delle camere, e tesori della Casa di Dio.
For these foure chiefe porters were in perpetuall office, and were of the Leuites and had charge of the chambers, and of the treasures in the house of God.
27 E giacevano la notte intorno alla Casa di Dio; perciocchè la guardia ne era loro imposta, ed aveano il carico di aprirla ogni mattina.
And they lay rounde about the house of God, because the charge was theirs, and they caused it to be opened euery morning.
28 Ed [alcuni] di loro aveano la cura dei vasellamenti del servigio; perciocchè si portavano dentro a conto, e si traevano [altresì] fuori a conto.
And certaine of them had the rule of the ministring vessels: for they brought them in by tale, and brought them out by tale.
29 Ed [altri] di loro erano costituiti sopra le [altre] masserizie, e sopra tutti gli arredi sacri, e sopra il fior della farina, e sopra il vino, e sopra l' olio, e sopra l'incenso, e sopra gli aromati.
Some of them also were appoynted ouer the instruments, and ouer all the vessels of the Sanctuarie, and of the floure, and the wine, and the oyle, and the incense, and the sweete odours.
30 Ma quelli che componevano il profumo degli aromati, [erano] de' figliuoli de' sacerdoti.
And certaine of the sonnes of the Priestes made oyntments of sweete odours.
31 E d'infra i Leviti, Mattitia, primogenito di Sallum, Corita, avea il carico di ciò che si coceva in su la tegghia.
And Mattithiah one of the Leuites which was the eldest sonne of Shallum the Korhite, had the charge of the things that were made in the frying panne.
32 E d'infra i lor fratelli, figliuoli de' Chehatiti, alcuni aveano la cura de' pani disposti per ordine, per apparecchiarli ogni sabato.
And other of their brethren the sonnes of Kohath had the ouersight of the shewbread to prepare it euery Sabbath.
33 Altri eziandio [erano] cantori, capi di [famiglie] paterne de' Leviti, [i quali stavano] nelle camere, esenti [d'altra cura]; perciocchè l'ufficio loro richiedeva che fossero giorno e notte in opera.
And these are the singers, the chiefe fathers of the Leuites, which dwelt in the chambers, and had none other charge: for they had to do in that busines day and night:
34 Questi [furono] i capi delle [famiglie] paterne dei Leviti, capi delle lor generazioni. Essi abitarono in Gerusalemme.
These were the chiefe fathers of the Leuites according to their generations, and the principall which dwelt at Ierusalem.
35 Or in Gabaon abitò Ieiel, padre di Gabaon; ed il nome della sua moglie [era] Maaca.
And in Gibeon dwelt ye father of Gibeon, Ieiel, and the name of his wife was Maachah.
36 E il suo figliuolo primogenito [fu] Abdon; poi [ebbe] Sur, e Chis,
And his eldest sonne was Abdon, then Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,
37 e Baal, e Ner, e Nadab, e Ghedor, ed Ahio, e Zaccaria, e Miclot.
And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloth.
38 E Miclot generò Simeam; ed essi abitarono dirimpetto ai lor fratelli in Gerusalemme, co' lor fratelli.
And Mikloth begate Shimeam: they also dwelt with their brethren at Ierusalem, euen by their brethren.
39 E Ner generò Chis, e Chis generò Saulle, e Saulle generò Gionatan, e Malchi-sua, ed Abinadab, ed Esbaal.
And Ner begate Kish, and Kish begate Saul, and Saul begate Ionathan and Malchishua, and Abinadab and Eshbaal.
40 E il figliuolo di Gionatan [fu] Merib-baal; e Merib-baal generò Mica.
And the sonne of Ionathan was Merib-baal: and Merib-baal begate Micah.
41 Ed i figliuoli di Mica [furono] Piton, e Melec, e Tarea, ed Achaz,
And the sonnes of Micah were Pithon, and Melech and Tahrea.
42 [il quale] generò Iara. E Iara generò Alemet, ed Azmavet, e Zimri; e Zimri generò Mosa.
And Ahaz begate Iarah, and Iarah begat Alemeth, and Azmaueth, and Zimri, and Zimri begate Moza.
43 E Mosa generò Bina, di cui [fu] figliuolo Refaia, di cui [fu] figliuolo Elasa, di cui [fu] figliuolo Asel.
And Moza begate Binea, whose sonne was Rephaiah, and his sonne was Eleasah, and his sonne Azel.
44 Ed Asel ebbe sei figliuoli, i cui nomi [sono: ] Azricam, e Bocru, ed Ismaele, e Searia, ed Obadia, ed Hanan. Questi [furono] i figliuoli di Asel.
And Azel had sixe sonnes, whose names are these, Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ismael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan: these are the sonnes of Azel.
