1 OR questi furono i figliuoli di Davide, che gli nacquero in Hebron: il primogenito [fu] Amnon, d'Ahinoam Izreelita; il secondo, Daniele, di Abigail Carmelita;

Now these were the sons of David, which were born unto him in Hebron: the firstborn, Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jezreelitess; the second, Daniel, of Abigail the Carmelitess;

2 il terzo, Absalom, figliuolo di Maaca, figliuola di Talmai, re di Ghesur; il quarto, Adonia figliuolo di Hagghit; il quinto, Sefatia, di Abital;

the third, Absalom the son of Maacah the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur; the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith;

3 il sesto, Itream, di Egla, sua moglie.

the fifth, Shephatiah of Abital; the sixth, Ithream by Eglah his wife.

4 [Questi] sei gli nacquero in Hebron, ove regnò sett'anni e sei mesi; poi regnò trentatre anni in Gerusalemme.

six were born unto him in Hebron; and there he reigned seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years.

5 E questi gli nacquero in Gerusalemme: Sima, e Sobab, e Natan, e Salomone, quattro di Batsua, figliuola di Ammiel;

and these were born unto him in Jerusalem: Shimea, and Shobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, four, of Bath-shua the daughter of Ammiel:

6 ed Ibhar, ed Elisama,

and Ibhar, and Elishama, and Eliphelet;

7 ed Elifelet, e Noga, e Nefeg, e Iafia,

and Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia;

8 ed Elisama, ed Eliada, ed Elifelet; nove [in tutto].

and Elishama, and Eliada, and Eliphelet, nine.

9 Tutti [questi furono] figliuoli di Davide, oltre a' figliuoli delle concubine; e Tamar, lor sorella.

All these were the sons of David; beside the sons of the concubines; and Tamar was their sister.

10 E il figliuolo di Salomone [fu] Roboamo, di cui [fu] figliuolo Abia, di cui [fu] figliuolo Asa, di cui [fu] figliuolo Giosafat,

And Solomon’s son was Rehoboam, Abijah his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son;

11 di cui [fu] figliuolo Gioram, di cui [fu] figliuolo Achazia, di cui [fu] figliuolo Gioas,

Joram his son, Ahaziah his son, Joash his son;

12 di cui [fu] figliuolo Amasia, di cui [fu] figliuolo Azaria, di cui [fu] figliuolo Giotam,

Amaziah his son, Azariah his son, Jotham his son;

13 di cui [fu] figliuolo Achaz, di cui [fu] figliuolo Ezechia, di cui [fu] figliuolo Manasse,

Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Manasseh his son;

14 di cui [fu] figliuolo Amon, di cui [fu] figliuolo Giosia.

Amon his son, Josiah his son.

15 E i figliuoli di Giosia [furono] Giohanan il primogenito, Gioiachim il secondo, Sedechia il terzo, Sallum il quarto.

And the sons of Josiah; the firstborn Johanan, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum.

16 E il figliuolo di Gioiachim [fu] Geconia, di cui [fu] figliuolo Sedechia.

And the sons of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah his son, Zedekiah his son.

17 E il figliuolo di Geconia prigione [fu] Sealtiel;

And the sons of Jeconiah, the captive; Shealtiel his son,

18 [di cui furono figliuoli] Malchiram, e Pedaia, e Seneassar, e Iecamia, ed Hosama, e Nedabia.

and Malchiram, and Pedaiah, and Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.

19 Ed i figliuoli di Pedaia [furono] Zerubbabel e Simi; ed i figliuoli di Zerubbabel [furono] Mesullam, ed Hanania; e Selomit, lor sorella.

And the sons of Pedaiah; Zerubbabel, and Shimei: and the sons of Zerubbabel; Meshullam, and Hananiah; and Shelomith was their sister:

20 Ed [i figliuoli di Mesullam furono] Hasuba, Ohel, e Berechia, ed Hasadia, e Iusab-hesed; cinque [in tutto].

and Hashubah, and Ohel, and Berechiah, and Hasadiah, Jushabhesed, five.

21 Ed i figliuoli di Hanania [furono] Pelatia ed Isaia; i figliuoli di Refaia, i figliuoli di Arnan, i figliuoli di Obadia, e i figliuoli di Secania.

And the sons of Hananiah; Pelatiah, and Jeshaiah: the sons of Rephaiah, the sons of Arnan, the sons of Obadiah, the sons of Shecaniah.

22 E Semaia [fu] figliuolo di Secania; ed i figliuoli di Semaia [furono] Hattus, e Igheal, e Baria, e Nearia, e Sefat; sei [in tutto].

And the sons of Shecaniah; Shemaiah: and the sons of Shemaiah; Hattush, and Igal, and Bariah, and Neariah, and Shaphat, six.

23 Ed i figliuoli di Nearia [furono] Elioenai, ed Ezechia, ed Azricam; tre [in tutto].

And the sons of Neariah; Elioenai, and Hizkiah, and Azrikam, three.

24 Ed i figliuoli di Elioenai [furono] Hodaiva, ed Eliasib, e Pelaia, ed Accub, e Iohanan, e Delaia, ed Anani; sette [in tutto].

And the sons of Elioenai; Hodaviah, and Eliashib, and Pelaiah, and Akkub, and Johanan, and Delaiah, and Anani, seven.
