Lukas 4
1 Yesus, yang penuh dengan Roh Kudus, kembali dari sungai Yordan, lalu dibawa oleh Roh Kudus ke padang gurun.
Iesus then full of the holy goost returnyd fro Iordan and was caryed of ye sprete into wildernes
2 Di situ Ia tinggal empat puluh hari lamanya dan dicobai Iblis. Selama di situ Ia tidak makan apa-apa dan sesudah waktu itu Ia lapar.
and was. xl. dayes tempted of the devyll. And in thoose dayes ate he no thinge. And when they were ended he afterward hongred.
3 Lalu berkatalah Iblis kepada-Nya: "Jika Engkau Anak Allah, suruhlah batu ini menjadi roti."
And the devyll sayde vnto him: yf thou be the sonne of God comaunde this stone yt it be breed.
4 Jawab Yesus kepadanya: "Ada tertulis: Manusia hidup bukan dari roti saja."
And Iesus answered hym sayinge: It is writte: man shall not live by breed only but by every worde of God.
5 Kemudian ia membawa Yesus ke suatu tempat yang tinggi dan dalam sekejap mata ia memperlihatkan kepada-Nya semua kerajaan dunia.
And ye devyll toke him vp into an hye moutayne and shewed him all the kyngdoms of the worlde eve in ye twincklinge of an eye.
6 Kata Iblis kepada-Nya: "Segala kuasa itu serta kemuliaannya akan kuberikan kepada-Mu, sebab semuanya itu telah diserahkan kepadaku dan aku memberikannya kepada siapa saja yang kukehendaki.
And ye devyll sayde vnto him: all this power will I geve ye every whit and the glory of the: for yt is delyvered to me and to whosoever I will I geve it.
7 Jadi jikalau Engkau menyembah aku, seluruhnya itu akan menjadi milik-Mu."
Yf thou therfore wilt worshippe me they shalbe all thyne.
8 Tetapi Yesus berkata kepadanya: "Ada tertulis: Engkau harus menyembah Tuhan, Allahmu, dan hanya kepada Dia sajalah engkau berbakti!"
Iesus answered him and sayde: hence from me Sathan. For it is written: Thou shalt honour the Lorde thy God and him only serve.
9 Kemudian ia membawa Yesus ke Yerusalem dan menempatkan Dia di bubungan Bait Allah, lalu berkata kepada-Nya: "Jika Engkau Anak Allah, jatuhkanlah diri-Mu dari sini ke bawah,
And he caryed him to Ierusalem and set him on a pynacle of the temple and sayd vnto him: Yf thou be the sonne of God cast thy silfe doune from hens.
10 sebab ada tertulis: Mengenai Engkau, Ia akan memerintahkan malaikat-malaikat-Nya untuk melindungi Engkau,
For it is written he shall geve his angels charge over the to kepe the
11 dan mereka akan menatang Engkau di atas tangannya, supaya kaki-Mu jangan terantuk kepada batu."
and with there hondis they shall stey the vp that thou dasshe not thy fote agaynst a stone.
12 Yesus menjawabnya, kata-Nya: "Ada firman: Jangan engkau mencobai Tuhan, Allahmu!"
Iesus answered and sayde to him it is sayd: thou shalt not tempte the Lorde thy God.
13 Sesudah Iblis mengakhiri semua pencobaan itu, ia mundur dari pada-Nya dan menunggu waktu yang baik.
Assone as the devyll had ended all his temptacions he departed from him for a season.
14 Dalam kuasa Roh kembalilah Yesus ke Galilea. Dan tersiarlah kabar tentang Dia di seluruh daerah itu.
And Iesus retourned by the power of ye sprete in to Galile and there went a fame of him thorowe oute all the regio roude aboute.
15 Sementara itu Ia mengajar di rumah-rumah ibadat di situ dan semua orang memuji Dia.
And he taught in their synagoges and was commended of all men.
16 Ia datang ke Nazaret tempat Ia dibesarkan, dan menurut kebiasaan-Nya pada hari Sabat Ia masuk ke rumah ibadat, lalu berdiri hendak membaca dari Alkitab.
And he came to Nazareth where he was noursed and as hys custome was went in to the synagoge on the Saboth dayes and stode vp for to rede.
17 Kepada-Nya diberikan kitab nabi Yesaya dan setelah dibuka-Nya, Ia menemukan nas, di mana ada tertulis:
And ther was delyvered vnto him ye boke of ye Prophete Esaias. And when he had opened the boke he founde the place where it was written.
18 "Roh Tuhan ada pada-Ku, oleh sebab Ia telah mengurapi Aku, untuk menyampaikan kabar baik kepada orang-orang miskin; dan Ia telah mengutus Aku
The sprete of the lorde vpon me because he hath annoynted me: to preache ye gospell to ye poore he hath sent me: and to heale the broken harted: to preache delyverauce to the captive and sight to the blinde and frely to set at lyberte them that are brused
19 untuk memberitakan pembebasan kepada orang-orang tawanan, dan penglihatan bagi orang-orang buta, untuk membebaskan orang-orang yang tertindas, untuk memberitakan tahun rahmat Tuhan telah datang."
and to preache the acceptable yeare of the Lorde.
20 Kemudian Ia menutup kitab itu, memberikannya kembali kepada pejabat, lalu duduk; dan mata semua orang dalam rumah ibadat itu tertuju kepada-Nya.
And he cloosed the booke and gave it agayne to the minister and sate doune. And the eyes of all that were in the synagoge were fastened on him.
21 Lalu Ia memulai mengajar mereka, kata-Nya: "Pada hari ini genaplah nas ini sewaktu kamu mendengarnya."
And he began to saye vnto them. This daye is this scripture fulfilled in youre eares.
22 Dan semua orang itu membenarkan Dia dan mereka heran akan kata-kata yang indah yang diucapkan-Nya, lalu kata mereka: "Bukankah Ia ini anak Yusuf?"
And all bare him witnes and wondred at the gracious wordes which proceded oute of his mouth and sayde: Is not this Iosephs sonne?
23 Maka berkatalah Ia kepada mereka: "Tentu kamu akan mengatakan pepatah ini kepada-Ku: Hai tabib, sembuhkanlah diri-Mu sendiri. Perbuatlah di sini juga, di tempat asal-Mu ini, segala yang kami dengar yang telah terjadi di Kapernaum!"
And he sayde vnto them: Ye maye very well saye vnto me this proverbe: Phisicion heale thy silfe. Whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum do the same here lyke wyse in thyne awne countre.
24 Dan kata-Nya lagi: "Aku berkata kepadamu, sesungguhnya tidak ada nabi yang dihargai di tempat asalnya.
And he sayde verely I saye vnto you: No Prophet is accepted in his awne countre.
25 Dan Aku berkata kepadamu, dan kata-Ku ini benar: Pada zaman Elia terdapat banyak perempuan janda di Israel ketika langit tertutup selama tiga tahun dan enam bulan dan ketika bahaya kelaparan yang hebat menimpa seluruh negeri.
But I tell you of a truth many wyddowes were in Israell in the dayes of Helias when hevyn was shet thre yeres and syxe monethes when greate fammisshemet was throughoute all the londe
26 Tetapi Elia diutus bukan kepada salah seorang dari mereka, melainkan kepada seorang perempuan janda di Sarfat, di tanah Sidon.
and vnto none of them was Helias sent save in to Sarephta besydes Sidon vnto a woma that was a widow.
27 Dan pada zaman nabi Elisa banyak orang kusta di Israel dan tidak ada seorangpun dari mereka yang ditahirkan, selain dari pada Naaman, orang Siria itu."
And many lepers were in Israel in the tyme of Heliseus the Prophete: and yet none of them was healed savinge Naaman of Siria.
28 Mendengar itu sangat marahlah semua orang yang di rumah ibadat itu.
And as many as were in ye sinagoge when they herde that were filled with wrath:
29 Mereka bangun, lalu menghalau Yesus ke luar kota dan membawa Dia ke tebing gunung, tempat kota itu terletak, untuk melemparkan Dia dari tebing itu.
and roose vp and thrust him oute of the cite and ledde him eve vnto the edge of the hill wher on their cite was bilte to cast him doune hedlynge.
30 Tetapi Ia berjalan lewat dari tengah-tengah mereka, lalu pergi.
But he went his waye eve thorow the myddes of them:
31 Kemudian Yesus pergi ke Kapernaum, sebuah kota di Galilea, lalu mengajar di situ pada hari-hari Sabat.
and came in to Capernaum a cyte of Galile and there taught the on the Saboth dayes.
32 Mereka takjub mendengar pengajaran-Nya, sebab perkataan-Nya penuh kuasa.
And they were astonyed at his doctrine: for his preachige was wt power.
33 Di dalam rumah ibadat itu ada seorang yang kerasukan setan dan ia berteriak dengan suara keras:
And in the synagoge ther was a ma which had a sprete of an vncleane devell and cryed with aloude voyce
34 "Hai Engkau, Yesus orang Nazaret, apa urusan-Mu dengan kami? Engkau datang hendak membinasakan kami? Aku tahu siapa Engkau: Yang Kudus dari Allah."
sayinge: let me alone what hast thou to do with vs thou Iesus of Nazareth? Arte thou come to destroye vs? I knowe the what thou arte eve the holy of God.
35 Tetapi Yesus menghardiknya, kata-Nya: "Diam, keluarlah dari padanya!" Dan setan itupun menghempaskan orang itu ke tengah-tengah orang banyak, lalu keluar dari padanya dan sama sekali tidak menyakitinya.
And Iesus rebuked him sayinge: holde thy peace and come oute of him. And the devyll threwe him in the myddes of them and came oute of him and hurt him not.
36 Dan semua orang takjub, lalu berkata seorang kepada yang lain, katanya: "Alangkah hebatnya perkataan ini! Sebab dengan penuh wibawa dan kuasa Ia memberi perintah kepada roh-roh jahat dan merekapun keluar."
And feare came on them all and they spake amonge them selves sayinge: what maner a thinge is this? For with auctorite and power he commaundeth the foule spretes and they come out?
37 Dan tersebarlah berita tentang Dia ke mana-mana di daerah itu.
And ye fame of him spreed abroode thorowoute all places of the countre round aboute.
38 Kemudian Ia meninggalkan rumah ibadat itu dan pergi ke rumah Simon. Adapun ibu mertua Simon demam keras dan mereka meminta kepada Yesus supaya menolong dia.
And he roose vp and came oute of ye sinagoge and entred in to Simons housse. And Simos motherelawe was take with a greate fever and they made intercession to him for her.
39 Maka Ia berdiri di sisi perempuan itu, lalu menghardik demam itu, dan penyakit itupun meninggalkan dia. Perempuan itu segera bangun dan melayani mereka.
And he stode over her and rebuked the fever: and it leeft her. And immediatly she arose and ministred vnto them.
40 Ketika matahari terbenam, semua orang membawa kepada-Nya orang-orang sakitnya, yang menderita bermacam-macam penyakit. Iapun meletakkan tangan-Nya atas mereka masing-masing dan menyembuhkan mereka.
When the sonne was doune all they that had sicke take with divers deseases brought them vnto him: and he layde his hondes on every one of them and healed them.
41 Dari banyak orang keluar juga setan-setan sambil berteriak: "Engkau adalah Anak Allah." Lalu Ia dengan keras melarang mereka dan tidak memperbolehkan mereka berbicara, karena mereka tahu bahwa Ia adalah Mesias.
And devils also cam out of many of them crying and saying: thou arte Christ the sonne of God. And he rebuked them and suffered them not to speake: for they knewe that he was Christ.
42 Ketika hari siang, Yesus berangkat dan pergi ke suatu tempat yang sunyi. Tetapi orang banyak mencari Dia, lalu menemukan-Nya dan berusaha menahan Dia supaya jangan meninggalkan mereka.
Assone as it was daye he departed and went awaye into a desert place and ye people sought him and came to him and kept him that he shuld not departe from the.
43 Tetapi Ia berkata kepada mereka: "Juga di kota-kota lain Aku harus memberitakan Injil Kerajaan Allah sebab untuk itulah Aku diutus."
And he sayde vnto the: I muste to other cities also preache the kyngdome of God: for therfore am I sent.
44 Dan Ia memberitakan Injil dalam rumah-rumah ibadat di Yudea.
And he preached in the synagoges of Galile.
