Zakharia 2
1 Dalam penglihatan berikutnya aku melihat seorang laki-laki yang memegang tali pengukur.
And Y reiside myn iyen, and siy, and lo! a man, and lo! in his hoond a litil coorde of meteris.
2 "Mau ke mana?" tanyaku. "Mau mengukur Yerusalem," jawabnya, "aku ingin tahu berapa panjang dan lebar kota itu."
And Y seide, Whidir goist thou? And he seide to me, That Y mete Jerusalem, and Judee; hou myche is the breede therof, and hou myche is the lengthe therof.
3 Kemudian kulihat malaikat yang telah berbicara dengan aku itu, melangkah maju, dan seorang malaikat lain menemuinya.
And lo! the aungel that spak in me, wente out, and another aungel wente out in to the metyng of hym, and seide to hym,
4 Malaikat yang pertama berkata kepada malaikat yang kedua, "Pergilah cepat kepada pemuda itu, dan katakan kepadanya bahwa Yerusalem akan begitu padat dengan manusia dan ternak sehingga tak mungkin dibangun tembok di sekelilingnya.
Renne thou, speke to this child, and seie thou, Jerusalem shal be enhabitid with out wal, for the multitude of men and of beestis in the myddil therof.
5 TUHAN telah berjanji bahwa Ia sendiri akan menjadi tembok api yang mengelilingi kota itu untuk melindunginya dan Ia akan tinggal di sana dalam segala kuasa dan keagungan-Nya."
And Y schal be to it, seith the Lord, a wal of fier in cumpas; and Y schal be in glorie in myddil therof.
6 TUHAN berkata kepada umat-Nya, "Aku telah menceraiberaikan kamu ke segala penjuru. Tetapi sekarang hai orang-orang buangan, larilah dari Babel dan kembalilah ke Yerusalem.
A! A! A! fle ye fro the lond of the north, seith the Lord, for in foure wyndis of heuene Y scateride you, seith the Lord.
A! thou Sion, fle, that dwellist at the douyter of Babiloyne.
8 Siapa yang menyerang kamu, menyerang buah hati-Ku." Maka TUHAN Yang Mahakuasa menyuruh aku menyampaikan pesan ini kepada bangsa-bangsa yang telah merampoki umat-Nya,
For the Lord of oostis seith these thingis, After glorie he sente me to hethene men, whiche robbiden you; for he that schal touche you, schal touche the apple of myn iye.
9 "TUHAN sendiri akan melawan kamu! Dan kamu akan dirampok oleh bekas hamba-hambamu sendiri. Bila hal itu terjadi, kamu akan tahu bahwa TUHAN Yang Mahakuasa telah menyuruh aku."
For lo! Y reise myn hond on hem, and thei schulen be preyes to these that seruyden hem; and ye schulen knowe, that the Lord of oostis sente me.
10 TUHAN berkata, "Bernyanyilah dengan gembira hai penduduk Yerusalem! Aku akan tinggal di tengah-tengahmu!"
Douyter of Sion, herie thou, and be glad; for lo! Y come, and Y schal dwelle in myddil of thee, seith the Lord.
11 Pada masa itu banyak bangsa akan datang kepada TUHAN untuk menjadi umat-Nya. Ia akan tinggal di tengah-tengahmu, dan kamu akan tahu bahwa TUHAN telah mengirim aku kepadamu.
And many folkis schulen be applied to the Lord in that dai, and thei schulen be to me in to puple, and Y schal dwelle in myddil of thee; and thou schalt wite, that the Lord of oostis sente me to thee.
12 Sekali lagi Yehuda akan menjadi milik khusus TUHAN di tanah-Nya yang suci, dan Yerusalem akan menjadi kota yang paling disayangi-Nya.
And the Lord schal welde Juda in to his part, in the loud halewid, and schal cheese yit Jerusalem.
13 Diamlah kamu semua di hadapan TUHAN! Karena Ia telah berangkat dari tempat kediaman-Nya di surga.
Ech fleisch be stil fro the face of the Lord, for he roos of his hooli dwelling place.
