Mazmur 99

1 TUHAN adalah Raja; bangsa-bangsa gemetar. Ia bertakhta di atas kerub, bumi berguncang.

A Psalm of David himself. The Lord has reigned: let the peoples be angry. He sits upon the cherubim: let the earth be moved.

2 TUHAN sangat berkuasa di Sion; Ia agung mengatasi segala bangsa.

The Lord is great in Zion, and he is high above all peoples.

3 Biarlah mereka memuji nama-Nya yang luhur mulia. Kuduslah Ia!

May they confess to your great name, for it is terrible and holy.

4 Kekuasaan bagi-Mu, Raja yang mencintai hukum; Engkau telah menegakkan kebenaran; Engkau menjalankan hukum dan keadilan di Israel.

And the honor of the king loves judgment. You have prepared guidance. You have accomplished judgment and justice in Jacob.

5 Luhurkanlah TUHAN Allah kita, sujudlah di depan takhta-Nya. Kuduslah Ia!

Exalt the Lord our God, and adore the footstool of his feet, for it is holy.

6 Musa dan Harun termasuk imam-imam-Nya, Samuel salah seorang yang berdoa kepada-Nya. Mereka berseru kepada TUHAN, dan Ia memberi jawaban.

Moses and Aaron are among his priests, and Samuel is among those who call upon his name. They called upon the Lord, and he heeded them.

7 Dari tiang awan Ia berbicara kepada mereka, mereka taat kepada semua hukum dan perintah-Nya.

He spoke to them in the pillar of the cloud. They kept his testimonies and the precept that he gave them.

8 Ya TUHAN Allah kami, Engkau menjawab umat-Mu; bagi mereka Engkau Allah yang suka mengampuni, walaupun mereka Kauhukum karena kesalahan mereka.

You heeded them, O Lord our God. You were a forgiving God to them, though taking vengeance on all their inventions.

9 Luhurkanlah TUHAN Allah kita, dan sembahlah Dia di bukit-Nya yang suci, sebab kuduslah TUHAN Allah kita.

Exalt the Lord our God, and adore on his holy mountain. For the Lord our God is holy.
