Mazmur 66
1 Untuk pemimpin kor. Sebuah nyanyian. Bersorak-sorailah untuk Allah, hai seluruh bumi!
Unto the end, a canticle of a psalm of the resurrection. Shout with joy to God, all the earth,
2 Bernyanyilah dan agungkanlah nama-Nya, muliakanlah Dia dengan puji-pujian.
Sing ye a psalm to his name; give glory to his praise.
3 Katakanlah kepada Allah, "Sungguh mengagumkan perbuatan-Mu! Musuh tunduk kepada-Mu penuh ketakutan, sebab sangat besarlah kuasa-Mu.
Say unto God, How terrible are thy works, O Lord! in the multitude of thy strength thy enemies shall lie to thee.
4 Seluruh bumi sujud menyembah Engkau, mereka menyanyi memuji nama-Mu."
Let all the earth adore thee, and sing to thee: let it sing a psalm to thy name.
5 Datanglah dan pandanglah perbuatan Allah, sungguh mengagumkan karya-karya-Nya di antara manusia!
Come and see the works of God; who is terrible in his counsels over the sons of men.
6 Laut diubah-Nya menjadi tanah kering, leluhur kami menyeberanginya dengan berjalan kaki. Maka kami bergembira karena perbuatan-Nya.
Who turneth the sea into dry land, in the river they shall pass on foot: there shall we rejoice in him.
7 Ia memerintah dengan perkasa untuk selama-lamanya. Bangsa-bangsa diawasi-Nya, supaya pemberontak tak dapat menyombong terhadap-Nya.
Who by his power ruleth for ever: his eyes behold the nations; let not them that provoke him he exalted in themselves.
8 Pujilah Allah kami, hai bangsa-bangsa, serukanlah pujianmu kepada-Nya!
O bless our God, ye Gentiles: and make the voice of his praise to be heard.
9 Ia telah menjaga kami supaya tetap hidup, dan tidak membiarkan kami jatuh.
Who hath set my soul to live: and hath not suffered my feet to be moved:
10 Ya Allah, Engkau telah menguji kami seperti orang memurnikan perak di dalam api.
For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us by fire, as silver is tried.
11 Kaubiarkan kami jatuh ke dalam perangkap, dan Kauberi beban yang sangat berat.
Thou hast brought us into a net, thou hast laid afflictions on our back:
12 Kaubiarkan kami diinjak-injak musuh; kami melintasi banjir dan api. Tetapi sekarang kami telah Kaubawa ke tempat yang makmur.
Thou hast set men over our heads. We have passed through tire and water, and thou hast brought us out into a refreshment.
13 Aku akan membawa kurban bakaran ke Rumah-Mu dan menepati janjiku kepada-Mu,
I will go into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay thee my vows,
14 janji yang kuucapkan waktu aku dalam kesusahan.
Which my lips have uttered, And my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble.
15 Kupersembahkan kepada-Mu kurban bakaran dari binatang pilihan, kambing domba dan sapi jantan, asapnya membubung ke langit.
I will offer up to thee holocausts full of marrow, with burnt offerings of rams: I will offer to thee bullocks with goats.
16 Datanglah dan dengarlah, hai semua orang takwa, akan kuceritakan apa yang dilakukan Allah bagiku.
Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will tell you what great things he hath done for my soul.
17 Aku telah berseru minta tolong kepada-Nya; sekarang kunyanyikan pujian bagi-Nya.
I cried to him with my mouth: and I extolled him with my tongue.
18 Sekiranya aku senang memikirkan kejahatan, pasti TUHAN tak mau mendengarkan.
If I have looked at iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.
19 Tetapi Allah sudah mendengar aku, Ia memperhatikan permohonanku.
Therefore hath God heard me, and hath attended to the voice of my supplication.
20 Aku memuji Allah sebab Ia tidak menolak doaku, dan tidak berhenti mengasihi aku.
Blessed be God, who hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.
