Mazmur 114

1 Ketika bangsa Israel keluar dari Mesir, waktu keturunan Yakub meninggalkan negeri asing,

When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a barbarous people:

2 TUHAN menjadikan Yehuda tempat suci-Nya, Israel dijadikan wilayah kekuasaan-Nya.

Judea made his sanctuary, Israel his dominion.

3 Laut Gelagah melihat-Nya lalu lari, Sungai Yordan berhenti mengalir.

The sea saw and fled: Jordan was turned back.

4 Gunung-gunung melompat-lompat seperti kambing, bukit-bukit berjingkrak-jingkrak seperti anak domba.

The mountains skipped like rams, and the hills like the lambs of the flock.

5 Ada apa, hai laut, sehingga engkau lari, dan Sungai Yordan berhenti mengalir?

What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou didst flee: and thou, O Jordan, that thou wast turned back?

6 Apa sebab kamu melompat-lompat hai gunung-gunung, dan kamu berjingkrak-jingkrak hai bukit-bukit?

Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams, and ye hills, like lambs of the flock?

7 Hai bumi, gemetarlah di hadapan TUHAN, di hadapan Allah Yakub,

At the presence of the Lord the earth was moved, at the presence of the God of Jacob:

8 yang mengubah batu karang menjadi kolam air, dan gunung batu menjadi mata air.

Who turned the rock into pools of water, and the stony hill into fountains of waters.
