Bilangan 5
1 TUHAN berkata kepada Musa,
And the Lord spak to Moises, and seide, Comaunde thou to the sones of Israel,
2 "Berikanlah perintah ini kepada orang Israel: Semua orang yang menderita penyakit kulit yang berbahaya, atau penyakit kelamin, atau yang telah menyentuh mayat, harus dikeluarkan dari perkemahan orang Israel.
that thei caste out of the castels ech leprouse man, and that fletith out seed, and is defoulid on a deed bodi; caste ye out of the castels,
3 Mereka harus disuruh pergi, supaya tidak menajiskan perkemahan, di mana Aku tinggal bersama-sama dengan umat-Ku."
as wel a male as a female, lest thei defoulen tho, whanne thei dwellen with you.
4 Orang Israel melakukan perintah itu dan mengeluarkan semua orang yang seperti itu dari perkemahan.
And the sones of Israel diden so; and thei castiden hem out of the castels, as the Lord spak to Moises.
5 TUHAN memberi kepada Musa
And the Lord spak to Moises,
6 peraturan-peraturan ini untuk orang Israel: Apabila seseorang tidak setia kepada TUHAN dengan berbuat salah terhadap orang lain,
and seide, Speke thou to the sones of Israel, Whanne a man ethir a womman han do of alle synnes that ben wont to falle to men, and han broke bi necgligence the `comaundement of the Lord,
7 orang itu harus mengakui dosanya dan membayar tebusan dengan penuh, ditambah dua puluh persen, kepada orang yang dirugikannya.
and han trespassid, thei schulen knowleche her synne, and thei schulen yelde thilke heed, and the fyuethe part aboue, to hym ayens whom thei synneden.
8 Tetapi kalau orang yang dirugikannya itu sudah meninggal dan tidak mempunyai sanak saudara dekat, maka tebusan itu harus diberikan kepada TUHAN, dan menjadi bagian imam. Tebusan itu tidak termasuk domba jantan untuk upacara penghapusan dosa bagi orang yang bersalah itu.
But if noon is that schal resseyue thei schulen yyue to the Lord, and it schal be the preestis part, outakun the ram which is offrid for clensyng, that it be a quemeful sacrifice.
9 Dari apa saja yang dipersembahkan orang Israel kepada TUHAN, persembahan khususnya menjadi bagian imam yang menerima persembahan itu.
Also alle the firste fruytis, whiche the sones of Israel offren, perteynen to the preest;
10 Apa yang dipersembahkan seseorang kepada TUHAN, menjadi bagian orang itu sendiri. Hanya apa yang diserahkannya kepada seorang imam, menjadi bagian imam itu.
and what euer thing is offrid of ech man in the seyntuarie, and is youun to the `hondis of the preest, it schal be the preestis part.
11 TUHAN menyuruh Musa
And the Lord spak to Moises,
12 memberi peraturan-peraturan ini kepada orang Israel. Boleh jadi seorang laki-laki mencurigai istrinya. Ia menyangka istrinya itu tidak setia kepadanya dan sudah mencemarkan dirinya karena bersetubuh dengan laki-laki lain. Tetapi suami itu tidak mempunyai kepastian, karena hal itu dilakukan istrinya dengan sembunyi-sembunyi; saksinya tidak ada, dan ia tidak tertangkap basah. Atau, boleh jadi seorang suami mencurigai istrinya, padahal istrinya itu tidak menyeleweng.
and seide, Speke thou to the sones of Israel, and thou schalt seie to hem, If `the wijf of a man hath errid, and hath dispisid the hosebonde,
and hath slept with another man, and the hosebonde may not take ether preue this, but the auowtrye is hid, and may not be preuyd bi witnessis, for sche is not foundun in leccherie;
if the spirit of gelousie stirith the housebonde ayens his wijf, which is ether defoulid, ethir is apechid bi fals suspecioun,
15 Dalam kedua hal itu suami itu harus membawa istrinya kepada imam. Ia juga harus membawa persembahan yang diperlukan, yaitu satu kilogram tepung gandum. Tepung itu tak boleh dituangi minyak zaitun atau dibubuhi dupa, karena merupakan persembahan kecurigaan dan dimaksudkan untuk menandakan adanya kecurigaan suami terhadap istrinya.
the man schal brynge hir to the preest, and he schal offre an offryng for hir `the tenthe part of a mesure clepid satum of barli meele; he schal not schede oyle ther onne, nethir he schal putte encense, for it is the sacrifice of gelousie, and an offryng enquerynge auowtrye.
16 Imam harus menyuruh wanita itu ke muka mezbah dan berdiri menghadap TUHAN.
Therfor the preest schal offre hir, and schal sette bifore the Lord;
17 Lalu imam harus mengambil sebuah mangkuk tanah dan menuangkan sedikit air suci ke dalamnya. Sesudah itu ia harus mengambil sedikit debu dari lantai Kemah TUHAN dan memasukkannya ke dalam air itu.
and he schal take holi watir in `a vessel of erthe, and he schal putte in to it a litil of the erthe of the pawment of the tabernacle.
18 Kemudian ia harus menguraikan rambut wanita itu, dan menaruh tepung persembahan kecurigaan ke dalam tangannya, sedangkan imam sendiri memegang air pahit yang mendatangkan kutuk.
And whanne the womman stondith in the siyt of the Lord, he schal diskyuere hir heed, and he schal putte `on the hondis of hir the sacrifice of remembryng, and the offryng of gelousie. Sotheli he schal holde moost bittir watris, in whiche he gaderide togidere cursis with cursyng.
19 Sesudah itu imam harus mengucapkan sumpah dan minta wanita itu menyetujuinya. Imam harus berkata, "Jika engkau tidak berzinah, engkau tidak kena kutuk yang didatangkan oleh air ini.
And he schal conioure hir, and schal seie, If an alien man slepte not with thee, and if thou art not defoulid in the forsakyng the bed of the hosebonde, these bittereste watris schulen not anoye thee, in to whiche Y haue gaderid togidere cursis;
20 Tetapi jika engkau telah berzinah,
ellis if thou bowidst awei fro thin hosebonde, and art defoulid, and hast leyn with another man,
21 semoga TUHAN membuat namamu menjadi sumpah kutuk di antara bangsamu. Semoga Ia membuat pangkal pahamu mengerut dan perutmu mengembung.
thou schalt be suget to these cursyngys; the Lord yyue thee in to cursyng, and in to ensaumple of alle men in his puple; `the Lord make thin hipe to wexe rotun, and thi wombe swelle, and be brokun;
22 Air yang mendatangkan kutuk ini akan masuk ke dalam perutmu dan membuatnya kembung dan mengerutkan pangkal pahamu." Wanita itu harus menjawab, "Saya setuju; semoga TUHAN berbuat begitu."
cursid watris entre in to thi wombe, and while the wombe swellith, thin hipe wexe rotun. And the womman schal answere, Amen! amen!
23 Lalu imam harus menulis kutuk itu pada kertas gulungan dan menghapusnya dengan air pahit itu.
And the preest schal write thes cursis in a litil book, and he schal do awey tho cursis with bittereste watris, in to whiche he gaderide cursis,
24 Imam menyuruh wanita itu minum air pahit yang mendatangkan kutuk. Bila diminum, air itu menyebabkan rasa sakit.
and he schal yyue to hir to drynke. And whanne sche hath drunke tho watris,
25 Imam harus mengambil persembahan tepung itu, dan mengunjukkannya ke hadapan TUHAN, lalu membawanya ke mezbah.
the preest schal take of hir hond the sacrifice of gelousie, and he schal reise it bifor the Lord, and he schal putte on the auter;
26 Lalu ia harus mengambil segenggam tepung sebagai tanda bahwa semua tepung itu sudah dipersembahkan, lalu membakarnya di atas mezbah. Akhirnya air itu diminumkan kepada wanita itu.
so oneli that he take bifore an handful of sacrifice `of that that is offrid, and brenne on the auter, and so yyue drynke to the womman the moost bittere watris.
27 Andaikata wanita itu sudah berzinah, air itu menyebabkan ia merasa sakit sekali; perutnya mengembung dan pangkal pahanya mengerut. Namanya akan menjadi sumpah kutuk di kalangan bangsanya.
And whanne sche hath drunke tho watris, if sche is defoulid, and is gilti of auowtrie, for the hosebonde is dispisid, the watris of cursyng schulen passe thorouy hir, and while the wombe is bolnyd, the hipe schal wexe rotun, and the womman schal be in to cursyng and in to ensaumple to al the puple.
28 Tetapi andaikata ia tidak bersalah, ia tidak kena kutuk dan masih dapat beranak.
That if sche is not pollutid, sche schal be harmeles, and schal brynge forth fre children.
29 Begitulah peraturannya apabila seorang suami cemburu dan curiga bahwa istrinya sudah berbuat serong dan mencemarkan dirinya. Laki-laki itu harus menghadapkan istrinya itu kepada TUHAN dan imam harus melakukan peraturan itu terhadapnya.
This is the lawe of gelousie, if a womman bowith awei fro hir hosebonde, and is defoulid,
and the hosebonde is stirid with the spirit of gelousye, and bryngith hir in to the `siyt of the Lord, and the preest doith to hir bi alle thingis that ben writun, the hosebonde schal be with out synne,
31 Laki-laki itu bebas dari kesalahan, tetapi istrinya, kalau ternyata bersalah, harus menanggung akibatnya.
and sche schal resseyue hir wickidnesse.
