Maleakhi 4
1 Kata TUHAN Yang Mahakuasa, "Akan tiba harinya semua orang sombong dan jahat dibakar seperti jerami. Pada hari itu mereka akan dibakar habis, dan tak ada yang tersisa dari mereka.
For behold the day shall come kindled as a furnace: and all the proud, and all that do wickedly shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall set them on fire, saith the Lord of hosts, it shall not leave them root, nor branch.
2 Tetapi bagi kamu yang taat kepada-Ku, kuasa-Ku yang menyelamatkan akan terbit laksana matahari, dan sinarnya membawa penyembuhan. Kamu akan bebas dan gembira seperti anak sapi yang baru dikeluarkan dari kandang.
But unto you that fear my name, the Sun of justice shall arise, and health in his wings: and you shall go forth, and shall leap like calves of the herd.
3 Pada hari itu Aku akan bertindak, dan kamu akan mengalahkan orang-orang jahat, sehingga mereka seperti debu yang kamu injak-injak.
And you shall tread down the wicked when they shall be ashes under the sole of your feet in the day that I do this, saith the Lord of hosts.
4 Ingatlah ajaran-ajaran hamba-Ku Musa, ingat hukum-hukum dan perintah-perintah yang Kuberikan kepadanya di Gunung Sinai untuk ditaati oleh seluruh umat Israel.
Remember the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel, the precepts, and judgments.
5 Tetapi sebelum hari yang hebat dan dahsyat yang Kutentukan itu tiba, akan Kuutus kepadamu Nabi Elia.
Behold I will send you Elias the prophet, before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
6 Ia akan membuat bapak-bapak dan anak-anak bersatu hati, supaya Aku tidak datang membinasakan negerimu."
And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers: lest I come, and strike the earth with anathema.
