Imamat 24
1 TUHAN menyuruh Musa
And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
2 memberikan perintah-perintah ini kepada bangsa Israel: Bawalah minyak zaitun yang murni dan yang paling baik untuk lampu di dalam Kemah TUHAN, supaya dapat dipasang dan menyala terus.
Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure beaten olive-oil, for the lighting, to cause the lamp to burn continually.
3 Harun harus mengatur lampu-lampu itu dari petang sampai pagi di tempat TUHAN hadir, di luar tirai yang menutupi Peti Perjanjian di Ruang Mahasuci. Perintah itu harus dilakukan untuk selama-lamanya.
Without the vail of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron put it in order [for] from evening unto morning before the Lord continually; as a statute for ever in your generations.
4 Harun harus mengurus lampu-lampu pada kaki lampu dari emas murni supaya tetap menyala di Kemah TUHAN.
Upon the pure candlestick shall be put in order the lamps, before the Lord, continually.
5 Ambillah dua belas kilogram tepung yang paling baik dan buatlah dua belas roti bundar, masing-masing dari satu kilogram tepung.
And thou shalt take fine flour, and bake thereof twelve cakes: of two tenth parts shall each one cake be.
6 Letakkan roti itu dalam dua susun, enam roti setiap susunnya, di atas meja berlapis emas murni yang berada di dalam Kemah TUHAN.
And thou shalt place them in two rows, six in a row, upon the pure table before the Lord.
7 Taruhlah kemenyan tulen pada tiap susun roti untuk menandakan bahwa roti itu kurban makanan bagi TUHAN.
And thou shalt put upon each row pure frankincense, that it may be unto the bread for a memorial, as a fire-offering unto the Lord.
8 Setiap hari Sabat harus ada roti yang disajikan di dalam Kemah TUHAN. Itulah kewajiban bangsa Israel untuk selama-lamanya.
On every and each sabbath day shall he place it in order before the Lord continually, [obtained] from the children of Israel as an everlasting covenant.
9 Roti itu adalah untuk Harun dan keturunannya. Mereka harus memakannya di tempat yang suci, karena roti itu merupakan bagian yang sangat suci dari kurban makanan yang dipersembahkan kepada TUHAN untuk para imam.
And it shall belong to Aaron and to his sons; and they shall eat it in a holy place; for it is most holy unto him, from the fire-offerings of the Lord, as a perpetual fixed portion.
10 Di perkemahan orang Israel ada seorang laki-laki. Ayahnya orang Mesir dan ibunya orang Israel bernama Selomit, anak Dibri dari suku Dan. Pada suatu hari orang itu bertengkar dengan seorang Israel di perkemahan. Waktu bertengkar, ia mengutuk Allah. Karena itu orang-orang Israel membawa dia menghadap Musa,
And there went forth a son of an Israelitish woman, but who was the son of an Egyptian man, among the children of Israel; and there quarrelled together in the camp this son of the Israelitish woman and an Israelitish man.
And the son of the Israelitish woman pronounced the [holy] Name, and blasphemed; and they brought him unto Moses: [and his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan; ]
12 dan menahan dia sambil menunggu keputusan TUHAN mengenai apa yang harus mereka lakukan terhadapnya.
And they placed him in ward, until the decision of the Lord could be explained to them.
13 TUHAN berkata kepada Musa,
And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
14 "Bawalah orang itu ke luar perkemahan. Setiap orang yang telah mendengar dia mengutuk, harus meletakkan tangannya di atas kepala orang itu untuk memberi kesaksian bahwa dia bersalah. Lalu seluruh umat harus melempari dia dengan batu sampai mati.
Lead forth the blasphemer to without the camp; and all that have heard him shall lay their hands upon his head; and all the congregation shall stone him.
15 Setelah itu umumkanlah ini kepada bangsa Israel: Barangsiapa mengutuk Allah harus menanggung akibatnya
And unto the children of Israel shalt thou speak, saying, Whatsoever man that blasphemeth his God shall bear his sin.
16 dan dihukum mati. Siapa saja yang mengutuk TUHAN harus dilempari dengan batu sampai mati oleh seluruh jemaat. Hukum itu berlaku untuk orang Israel maupun untuk orang asing yang sudah menetap di Israel.
But he that pronounced the name of the Lord [with blasphemy] shall be put to death, all the congregation shall stone him; be he a stranger, or be he one that is born in the land, when he pronounceth the [holy] Name [with blasphemy, ] he shall be put to death.
17 Barangsiapa membunuh orang lain harus dihukum mati.
And he that taketh the life of any man shall surely be put to death.
18 Barangsiapa membunuh binatang orang lain harus menggantinya. Dasarnya ialah 'nyawa ganti nyawa'.
And he that taketh the life of a beast shall make it good: beast for beast.
19 Apabila seseorang membuat orang lain cedera, apa saja yang telah dilakukannya, harus dilakukan juga terhadap dia.
And if a man cause a bodily defect in his neighbor, as he hath done, so shall be done to him;
20 Kalau ia mematahkan tulang, maka tulangnya pun harus dipatahkan. Kalau ia membuat mata orang lain buta sebelah, maka matanya pun harus dibutakan sebelah. Kalau ia memukul orang lain sampai patah giginya, maka giginya pun harus dipatahkan. Apa saja yang dilakukannya sehingga orang lain cacat, harus juga dilakukan terhadap dia sebagai pembalasan.
Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: in the manner as he hath caused a bodily defect in a man, so shall it be done to him.
21 Barangsiapa membunuh binatang harus menggantinya, tetapi barangsiapa membunuh manusia harus dihukum mati.
And he that killeth a beast, shall make restitution for it; and he that killeth a man, shall be put to death.
22 Hukum itu berlaku untuk kamu semua dan juga untuk orang asing yang menetap di antara kamu, karena Akulah TUHAN, Allahmu."
One manner of judicial law shall ye have, the stranger shall be equal with one of your own country; for I am the Lord your God.
23 Sesudah Musa menyampaikan perkataan itu kepada bangsa Israel, mereka membawa orang yang telah mengutuk Allah itu ke luar perkemahan lalu melempari dia dengan batu sampai mati. Dengan cara itu bangsa Israel melakukan apa yang telah diperintahkan TUHAN kepada Musa.
And Moses spoke to the children of Israel; and they led forth the blasphemer to without the camp, and they stoned him with stones; and the children of Israel did as the Lord had commanded Moses.
