Imamat 12
1 TUHAN memberi kepada Musa peraturan-peraturan ini
And the Lord spak to Moises, `and seide, Speke thou to the sones of Israel,
2 untuk bangsa Israel. Apabila seorang wanita melahirkan anak laki-laki, maka selama tujuh hari wanita itu najis, sama seperti waktu ia sedang haid.
and thou schalt seie to hem, If a womman, whanne sche hath resseyued seed, childith a knaue child, sche schal be vnclene bi seuene daies bi the daies of departyng of corrupt blood, that renneth bi monethis;
3 Pada hari yang kedelapan anaknya harus disunat.
and the yong child schal be circumsidid in the eiytithe dai.
4 Sesudahnya tiga puluh tiga hari lagi wanita itu masih najis karena mengeluarkan darah. Ia tak boleh menyentuh barang-barang yang dipakai untuk ibadat dan tak boleh memasuki Kemah TUHAN sampai masa penyuciannya selesai.

5 Apabila seorang wanita melahirkan anak perempuan, maka selama empat belas hari wanita itu najis, sama seperti waktu ia sedang haid. Sesudahnya enam puluh enam hari lagi wanita itu masih najis karena mengeluarkan darah.
Sotheli if sche childith a female, sche schal be vnclene twei woukis, bi the custom of flowyng of vnclene blood, and `thre scoor and sixe daies sche schal dwelle in the blood of her clensyng.
6 Sesudah masa penyuciannya selesai, baik karena telah melahirkan anak laki-laki atau anak perempuan, wanita itu harus membawa persembahan kepada imam di depan pintu Kemah TUHAN. Persembahan itu berupa seekor anak domba yang berumur satu tahun untuk kurban bakaran, dan seekor burung merpati muda atau tekukur muda untuk kurban pengampunan dosa.
And whanne the daies of hir clensyng, for a sone, ether for a douytir, ben fillid, sche schal brynge a lomb of o yeer in to brent sacrifice, and a `bryd of a culuer, ethir a turtle, for synne, to the dore of the tabernacle of witnessyng;
7 Imam harus menyerahkan persembahannya kepada TUHAN dan melakukan upacara untuk menghapuskan kenajisan wanita itu, sehingga ia menjadi bersih. Jadi itulah yang harus dilakukan seorang wanita sesudah ia melahirkan.

8 Apabila wanita itu tidak mampu menyediakan seekor anak domba, ia harus membawa dua ekor burung merpati muda atau tekukur muda: seekor untuk kurban bakaran dan seekor lagi untuk kurban pengampunan dosa. Imam harus melakukan upacara untuk menghapuskan kenajisan wanita itu, maka ia menjadi bersih.
That if hir hond fyndith not, nethir may offre a lomb, sche schal take twei turtlis, ethir twei `briddis of culueres, oon in to brent sacrifice, and the tother for synne; and the preest schal preye for hir, and so sche schal be clensid.
