Ayub 26
1 Tetapi Ayub berkata, "Alangkah mahirnya kauberi pertolongan kepadaku orang yang lemah dan kepayahan!
Forsothe Joob answeride, and seide, Whos helpere art thou?
whether `of the feble, and susteyneste the arm of hym, which is not strong?
3 Alangkah baiknya nasihat dan ajaran itu yang telah kauberikan kepadaku, orang yang dungu!
To whom hast thou youe counsel? In hap to hym that hath not wisdom; and thou hast schewid ful myche prudence.
4 Kepada siapakah tuturmu itu tertuju? Siapa mengilhamimu untuk bicara seperti itu?"
Ether whom woldist thou teche? whether not hym, that made brething?
5 Jawab Bildad, "Orang-orang di alam maut gemetar; air dan penghuninya bergeletar.
Lo! giauntis weilen vnder watris, and thei that dwellen with hem.
6 Di hadapan Allah, dunia orang mati terbuka, tak bertutup sehingga kelihatan oleh-Nya. (Sheol h7585)

7 Allah membentangkan langit, di atas samudra, dan menggantungkan bumi pada ruang hampa.
Which God stretchith forth the north on voide thing, and hangith the erthe on nouyt.
8 Dimuati-Nya awan dengan air berlimpah-limpah, namun awan itu tidak robek karena beratnya.
`Which God byndith watris in her cloudis, that tho breke not out togidere dounward.
9 Disembunyikan-Nya wajah bulan purnama di balik awan yang telah dibentangkan-Nya.
`Whych God holdith the cheer of his seete, and spredith abrood theron his cloude.
10 Digambar-Nya lingkaran pada muka lautan untuk memisahkan terang dari kegelapan.
He hath cumpassid a terme to watris, til that liyt and derknessis be endid.
11 Bila Ia menghardik dengan suara menggelegar, tiang-tiang penyangga langit gemetar.
The pilers of heuene tremblen, and dreden at his wille.
12 Samudra ditaklukkan oleh kuasa-Nya dan Rahab pun dihajar oleh kemahiran-Nya.
In the strengthe of hym the sees weren gaderid togidere sudeynly, and his prudence smoot the proude.
13 Napas-Nya menyapu langit hingga cerah sekali; tangan-Nya membunuh naga yang nyaris lari.
His spiryt ournede heuenes, and the crokid serpent was led out bi his hond, ledynge out as a mydwijf ledith out a child.
14 Tetapi semua itu hanya pertanda kuasa-Nya; hanya bisikan yang sampai di telinga kita. Betapa sedikit pengertian kita tentang Allah dan hebatnya kuasa-Nya!"
Lo! these thingis ben seid in partie of `hise weyes; and whanne we han herd vnnethis a litil drope of his word, who may se the thundur of his greetnesse?
