Yesaya 65
1 TUHAN berkata, "Aku siap menjawab umat-Ku, tetapi mereka tidak berdoa kepada-Ku. Aku bersedia ditemui oleh mereka, tetapi mereka tidak mencari Aku. Bangsa itu tidak memanggil Aku, walaupun Aku siap menjawab: Inilah Aku!
I allowed myself to be sought by those that asked not; I let myself be found by those that sought me not: I said, Here am I, here am I, unto a nation that called itself not by my name.
2 Aku selalu siap menyambut umat-Ku, tetapi mereka suka memberontak. Bangsa itu melakukan yang jahat dan mengikuti rencananya sendiri.
I spread out my hands all the time unto a rebellious people, that walk in the way which is not good, after their own thoughts;
3 Mereka terus-menerus membuat Aku marah karena mempersembahkan kurban di kebun-kebun untuk dewa-dewa dan membakar kemenyan di mezbah-mezbahnya.
[To] the people that provoke me to anger to my face continually; that sacrifice in gardens and burn incense upon [altars of] brick,
4 Waktu malam mereka pergi ke gua-gua dan kuburan untuk minta nasihat arwah-arwah. Mereka makan daging babi dan minum kuah daging yang haram.
That sit about among the graves, and lodge in the vaults, that eat the flesh of the swine, and [have] broth of abominations [in] their vessels;
5 Mereka berkata 'Pergilah menjauh, jangan menyentuh kami sebab kami suci dan terpisah dari kamu!' Aku tidak tahan melihat kelakuan mereka! Kemarahan-Ku terhadap mereka seperti api yang tak pernah padam.
That say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the time.
6 Hukuman mereka sudah tertulis di hadapan-Ku. Sungguh, Aku tak akan tinggal diam. Aku akan membalas kejahatan mereka
Behold, it is written before me; I will not keep silence, till I have recompensed, yea, recompensed into their bosom.—
7 karena dosa mereka dan dosa leluhur mereka. Mereka menghina Aku dengan membakar kemenyan untuk dewa-dewa di tempat pemujaan di bukit. Aku akan membalas mereka setimpal dengan perbuatan mereka di masa lampau."
Your iniquities and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the Lord, who have burnt incense upon the mountains, and upon the hills have blasphemed me: and I will measure out their work at first into their bosom.
8 TUHAN berkata, "Buah anggur yang masih ada airnya tidak dibuang, tetapi dijadikan air anggur. Begitu juga bangsa-Ku tak akan Kubinasakan seluruhnya, sebab di antara mereka masih ada yang mengabdi kepada-Ku.
Thus hath said the Lord, As the new wine is found in the cluster of grapes, and one saith, Destroy it not, for a blessing is in it; so will I do for the sake of my servants, that I will not destroy the whole;
9 Sejumlah orang Israel dari suku Yehuda akan Kuberkati, dan keturunan mereka akan memiliki tanah pegunungan-Ku. Orang-orang pilihan-Ku yang mengabdi kepada-Ku akan tinggal di sana.
And I let come forth out of Jacob a seed, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains; and my elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.
10 Umat-Ku akan menyembah Aku; domba dan sapi mereka akan merumput di Dataran Saron dan di Lembah Akhor.
And Sharon shall become a fold of flocks, and the valley of 'Achor a resting-place for herds, for my people that have sought me.
11 Tetapi bukan begitu nasib orang-orang yang meninggalkan Aku, yang tidak mempedulikan Sion, bukit-Ku yang suci, yang mempersembahkan sajian kepada Gad dan Meni, dewa-dewa keberuntungan dan nasib.
But ye who forsake the Lord, who forget my holy mountain, that set out a table for the god of Fortune, and that fill for Destiny the drink-offering.—
12 Kamu semua akan mati sebagai kurban kekerasan. Sebab, ketika Aku memanggil, kamu tidak menjawab, dan ketika Aku berbicara, kamu tidak mendengarkan. Kamu lebih suka melawan Aku dan melakukan yang jahat.
Yea, I will destine you to the sword, and all of you shall kneel down to the slaughter; because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spoke, ye did not hear; but ye did what is evil in my eyes, and that wherein I had no delight did ye choose.
13 Sesungguhnya, orang yang menyembah Aku akan makan, sedangkan kamu kelaparan. Mereka akan minum, sedangkan kamu kehausan. Mereka akan bergembira, sedangkan kamu mendapat malu.
Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry; behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty; behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be made ashamed;
14 Sesungguhnya, mereka akan bersorak gembira, sedangkan kamu menangis dengan pedih.
Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry out from pain of heart, and from a broken spirit shall ye howl;
15 Orang-orang pilihan-Ku akan memakai namamu sebagai kutuk: 'Semoga TUHAN Yang Mahatinggi membunuh kamu seperti mereka!' Tetapi orang yang taat kepada-Ku akan Kuberi nama baru.
And ye shall leave behind your name for an oath unto my elect ones, when the Lord Eternal will slay thee; but his servants will he call by another name.
16 Setiap orang di negeri itu yang minta berkat, akan minta diberkati oleh Allah yang setia. Setiap orang yang mau bersumpah, akan bersumpah demi nama Allah yang setia. Sebab penderitaan yang dahulu sudah hilang dan dilupakan."
Whoever there be that blesseth himself on the earth shall bless himself by the true God; and that sweareth on the earth shall swear by the true God; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hidden from my eyes.
17 TUHAN berkata, "Aku akan membuat langit yang baru dan bumi yang baru. Kejadian-kejadian yang dahulu akan dilupakan dan tidak diingat lagi.
For, behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth; and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind;
18 Bergembiralah dan bersukalah untuk selama-lamanya karena apa yang Kuciptakan. Aku menciptakan Yerusalem baru penuh kegembiraan, dan penduduknya bersuka ria.
But be ye glad and rejoice unto all eternity in what I create; for, behold, I will create Jerusalem for rejoicing, and her people for gladness.
19 Aku sendiri akan bergembira karena Yerusalem, dan bergirang karena penduduknya. Di kota itu tak ada lagi tangis, dan tak ada teriakan minta tolong.
And I will rejoice over Jerusalem, and be glad in my people: and there shall not be heard in her any more the voice of weeping, nor the voice of complaint.
20 Anak-anaknya tak ada yang mati waktu kecil, dan orang dewasa akan mencapai umur lanjut. Orang yang berumur seratus tahun akan dianggap muda, dan yang mati sebelum itu dianggap kena hukuman-Ku.
There shall no more come thence an infant of few days, nor an old man that shall not have the full length of his days; for as a lad shall one die a hundred years old; and as a sinner shall be accursed he who [dieth] at a hundred years old.
21 Orang akan membangun rumah dan mendiaminya sendiri; orang lain tak akan mendiaminya. Mereka akan menanami kebun anggur dan menikmati air anggurnya; orang lain tak akan meminumnya. Umat-Ku akan panjang umur seperti pohon, dan menikmati hasil kerja mereka.
And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat their fruit.
They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat; for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and the work of their hands shall my elect wear out.
23 Semua yang mereka lakukan akan berhasil, dan anak-anak mereka tak akan mati mendadak. Mereka dan keturunan mereka akan Kuberkati untuk selama-lamanya.
They shall not toil in vain, nor bring forth unto an early death; for the seed of the blessed of the Lord are they, and their offspring with them.
24 Sebelum mereka mohon, Aku menjawab; sebelum mereka selesai berdoa, Aku sudah mengabulkan doa mereka.
And it shall come to pass, that before yet they call will I answer; and while they are still speaking will I hear.
25 Serigala dan anak domba sama-sama makan rumput; singa makan jerami seperti sapi, dan ular tidak berbahaya lagi. Di seluruh bukit-Ku yang suci, tak ada lagi yang merugikan atau berbuat jahat."
The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall like the bullock eat straw: and the serpent—dust shall be his food. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the Lord.
