Keluaran 40
1 TUHAN berkata kepada Musa,
And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
2 "Dirikanlah Kemah-Ku pada tanggal satu bulan satu.
On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
3 Masukkan ke dalamnya Peti Perjanjian yang berisi Sepuluh Perintah dan pasanglah kain penudung di depannya.
And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and separate the ark with the vail.
4 Tempatkanlah meja dengan perlengkapannya. Masukkan juga kaki lampu dan pasanglah lampunya.
And thou shalt bring in the table, and arrange the order of the showbread upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof.
5 Letakkanlah mezbah emas tempat membakar dupa di depan Peti Perjanjian, dan gantungkanlah tabir di pintu Kemah.
And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony; and thou shalt put up the hanging at the door to the tabernacle.
6 Letakkan mezbah untuk kurban bakaran di depan pintu Kemah.
And thou shalt set the altar of burnt-offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
7 Taruhlah bak air di antara Kemah dan mezbah itu, lalu isilah dengan air.
And thou shalt set the laver between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, and thou shalt put water therein.
8 Kemudian pasanglah layar di sekeliling pelataran Kemah, dan gantungkan tirai pintu gerbang pelataran.
And thou shalt set up the court round about, and put up the hanging at the gate of the court.
9 Kemudian Kemah dan segala perlengkapannya harus kaupersembahkan kepada-Ku dengan cara meminyakinya dengan minyak upacara, maka semua itu dikhususkan untuk Aku.
And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein; and thou shalt hallow it, with all its vessels, and it shall be holy.
10 Persembahkanlah mezbah dan segala perlengkapannya dengan cara itu, supaya seluruhnya dikhususkan untuk Aku.
And thou shalt anoint the altar of burnt-offering, and all its vessels; and thou shalt sanctify the altar, and the altar shall be most holy.
11 Buatlah begitu juga dengan bak air dan alasnya.
And thou shalt anoint the laver with its foot, and sanctify it.
12 Sesudah itu, suruhlah Harun dan anak-anaknya datang ke pintu Kemah dan membasuh diri.
And thou shalt bring near Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.
13 Kenakan pakaian imam pada Harun, dan minyakilah dia supaya ia dikhususkan untuk melayani Aku sebagai imam.
And thou shalt clothe Aaron with the holy garments; and thou shalt anoint him, and sanctify him, that he may be a priest unto me.
14 Lalu suruhlah anak-anaknya mendekat, dan kenakanlah kemeja pada mereka.
And his sons shalt thou bring near, and clothe them with coats:
15 Lalu minyakilah mereka seperti kauminyaki ayah mereka, supaya mereka pun dapat melayani Aku sebagai imam. Dengan upacara minyak itu, suku mereka turun-temurun memegang jabatan imam."
And thou shalt anoint them, as thou hast anointed their father, that they may be priests unto me; and this shall be, that their anointing shall be unto them for an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.
16 Musa melakukan segalanya seperti yang diperintahkan TUHAN.
And Moses did so; all, just as the Lord had commanded him, so did he.
17 Maka pada tanggal satu bulan satu dalam tahun kedua sesudah bangsa Israel meninggalkan Mesir, Kemah TUHAN itu dipasang.
And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up.
18 Musa meletakkan alas-alasnya, mendirikan rangka-rangkanya, memasang kayu-kayu lintangnya, dan menegakkan tiang-tiangnya.
And Moses reared up the tabernacle, and placed its sockets, and set up its boards, and put in its bars, and reared up its pillars.
19 Lalu dibentangkannya atap Kemah dengan tutup bagian luar di atasnya seperti yang diperintahkan TUHAN.
And he spread the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent over it above; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
20 Kemudian kedua batu itu dimasukkannya ke dalam Peti Perjanjian. Lalu Musa memasang tutup Peti itu dan memasukkan kayu pengusungnya ke dalam gelangnya.
And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and placed the staves on the ark; and he put the mercy-seat upon the ark above.
21 Lalu ia menaruh Peti itu di dalam Kemah dan menggantungkan kain penudung di depannya, seperti yang diperintahkan TUHAN kepadanya.
And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the vail of the separation, and made therewith a separation for the ark of the testimony; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
22 Kemudian Musa menempatkan meja di dalam Kemah, di bagian utara sebelah luar kain,
And he put the table in the tabernacle of the congregation, upon the side of the tabernacle, northward, without the vail.
23 lalu di atas meja itu diletakkan roti sajian, seperti yang diperintahkan TUHAN kepada Musa.
And he arranged upon it the order of bread before the Lord; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
24 Kaki lampu diletakkannya di dalam Kemah, di bagian selatan, berhadapan dengan meja itu,
And he placed the candlestick in the tabernacle of the congregation, opposite the table, on the side of the tabernacle, southward.
25 lalu, lampu-lampu itu dinyalakannya di hadapan TUHAN.
And he lighted the lamps before the Lord; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
26 Mezbah emas ditempatkannya di dalam Kemah, di depan kain,
And he placed the golden altar in the tabernacle of the congregation before the vail.
27 lalu dibakarnya dupa harum seperti yang diperintahkan TUHAN kepada Musa.
And he burnt thereon the incense of spices; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
28 Musa menggantungkan tirai pintu Kemah,
And he put up the hanging at the door to the tabernacle.
29 dan di depan pintu itu ditaruhnya mezbah untuk kurban bakaran. Di atas mezbah itu dipersembahkannya kurban bakaran dan kurban sajian.
And the altar of burnt-offering he placed by the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation; and he offered upon it the burnt-offering and the meat-offering; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
30 Bak perunggu ditaruhnya di antara Kemah dan mezbah, lalu diisinya dengan air.
And he set the laver between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, for washing.
31 Musa, Harun dan anak-anaknya membasuh tangan dan kaki mereka di situ,
And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed therefrom their hands and their feet.
32 setiap kali mereka masuk ke dalam Kemah TUHAN atau mendekati mezbah.
When they went in unto the tabernacle of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed themselves; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
33 Di sekeliling Kemah dan mezbah itu Musa memasang layar, lalu ia menggantungkan tirai pintu gerbang pelataran. Maka selesailah semua pekerjaan itu.
And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and put up the hanging of the gate of the court; and so did Moses finish the work.
34 Kemudian turunlah awan menutupi Kemah TUHAN, dan Kemah itu penuh dengan cahaya kehadiran TUHAN.
And the cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
35 Oleh karena itu Musa tak dapat masuk ke dalam Kemah itu.
And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation; because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
36 Setiap kali awan itu naik dari atas Kemah TUHAN, bangsa Israel membongkar perkemahan mereka untuk pindah ke tempat lain.
And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel were wont to go onward in all their journeyings.
37 Tetapi kalau awan itu tidak naik, mereka tidak berangkat dari situ.
But if the cloud was not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that is was taken up.
38 Selama bangsa Israel mengembara, TUHAN ada di Kemah itu dalam rupa awan pada waktu siang dan dalam rupa api pada waktu malam.
For the cloud of the Lord was upon the tabernacle by day, and a fire was by night on it, before the eyes of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeyings.
