2 Raja-raja 15
1 Pada tahun kedua puluh tujuh pemerintahan Raja Yerobeam II atas Israel, Uzia anak Amazia menjadi raja Yehuda.
In the twenty-seventh year of Jeroboam, the king of Israel: Azariah, the son of Amaziah, reigned as king of Judah.
2 Pada waktu itu ia berumur 16 tahun dan memerintah di Yerusalem 52 tahun lamanya. Ibunya bernama Yekholya, wanita Yerusalem.
He was sixteen years old when he had begun to reign, and he reigned for fifty-two years in Jerusalem. The name of his mother was Jecoliah of Jerusalem.
3 Seperti ayahnya, Uzia pun melakukan yang menyenangkan hati TUHAN.
And he did what was pleasing before the Lord, in accord with all that his father, Amaziah, did.
4 Tetapi sayang, ia tidak memusnahkan tempat-tempat penyembahan dewa, sehingga rakyat tetap mempersembahkan kurban dan membakar dupa di situ.
Yet truly, he did not demolish the high places. And still the people were sacrificing, and burning incense, in the high places.
5 TUHAN membuat dia menderita penyakit kulit yang mengerikan, dan sampai ia meninggal, penyakitnya itu tidak sembuh-sembuh. Ia diasingkan di sebuah rumah dan dibebaskan dari tugas-tugasnya. Yotam putranya memerintah rakyat sebagai wakilnya.
Now the Lord struck the king, and he became a leper, even until the day of his death. And he was living in a separate house by himself. And truly, Jotham, the son of the king, governed the palace, and he judged the people of the land.

7 Uzia meninggal dan dikubur di pekuburan raja-raja di Kota Daud. Yotam putranya menjadi raja menggantikan dia.
And Azariah slept with his fathers, and they buried him with his ancestors in the city of David. And Jotham, his son, reigned in his place.
8 Pada tahun ketiga puluh delapan pemerintahan Raja Uzia atas Yehuda, Zakharia anak Yerobeam II menjadi raja Israel dan memerintah di Samaria enam bulan lamanya.
In the thirty-eighth year of Azariah, the king of Judah: Zechariah, the son of Jeroboam, reigned over Israel, in Samaria, for six months.
9 Sama seperti raja-raja yang memerintah sebelumnya, ia pun berdosa kepada TUHAN. Ia mengikuti kejahatan Raja Yerobeam I, yang telah membuat Israel berdosa.
And he did what is evil before the Lord, just as his fathers had done. He did not withdraw from the sins of Jeroboam, the son of Nebat, who caused Israel to sin.
10 Salum anak Yabes berkomplot melawan Raja Zakharia, dan membunuh dia di Yibleam, lalu menjadi raja menggantikan dia.
Then Shallum, the son of Jabesh, conspired against him. And he struck him openly, and killed him. And he reigned in his place.
11 Dengan demikian terjadilah apa yang telah dijanjikan TUHAN kepada Raja Yehu bahwa anak cucunya sampai keturunan keempat akan menjadi raja atas Israel. Kisah lainnya mengenai Raja Zakharia, dicatat dalam buku Sejarah Raja-raja Israel.
Now the rest of the words of Zechariah, have these not been written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Israel?
This was the word of the Lord, which he spoke to Jehu, saying: “Your sons, even to the fourth generation, shall sit upon the throne of Israel.” And so it happened.
13 Pada tahun ketiga puluh sembilan pemerintahan Raja Uzia atas Yehuda, Salum anak Yabes menjadi raja Israel. Ia memerintah di Samaria hanya satu bulan
Shallum, the son of Jabesh, reigned in the thirty-ninth year of Azariah, the king of Judah. And he reigned for one month, in Samaria.
14 karena Menahem anak Gadi pergi dari Tirza ke Samaria, lalu membunuh Salum, dan menjadi raja menggantikan dia.
And Menahem, the son of Gadi, ascended from Tirzah. And he went into Samaria, and he struck Shallum, the son of Jabesh, in Samaria. And he killed him, and reigned in his place.
15 Dalam perjalanannya dari Tirza, Menahem menghancurkan sama sekali kota Tifsah dan daerah-daerah sekitarnya serta membinasakan seluruh penduduknya. Karena kota itu tidak mau menyerah kepadanya, maka ia membelah perut wanita-wanita hamil di kota itu. Then Menahem struck Tirzah, and all who were in it, and its borders around Tirzah. For they were not willing to open to him. And he killed all of its pregnant women, and he tore them open.
17 Pada tahun ketiga puluh sembilan pemerintahan Raja Uzia atas Yehuda, Menahem anak Gadi menjadi raja Israel, dan memerintah di Samaria 10 tahun lamanya.
In the thirty-ninth year of Azariah, the king of Judah: Menahem, son of Gadi, reigned over Israel for ten years, in Samaria.
18 Seumur hidupnya ia berdosa kepada TUHAN karena menuruti kejahatan Raja Yerobeam I, yang membuat orang Israel berdosa.
And he did what was evil before the Lord. He did not withdraw from the sins of Jeroboam, the son of Nebat, who caused Israel to sin, during all his days.
19 Ketika Pul raja Asyur menyerang Israel, Menahem memberikan kepadanya 34.000 kilogram perak supaya ia membantu mengukuhkan kekuasaan Menahem atas Israel.
Then Pul, the king of the Assyrians, came into the land. And Menahem gave Pul one thousand talents of silver, so that he would be a help to him, and so that he might strengthen his kingdom.
20 Caranya Menahem memperoleh uang itu ialah dengan memaksa orang-orang kaya di Israel memberi lima puluh uang perak setiap orang. Karena itu Pul meninggalkan negeri itu dan pulang ke negerinya sendiri.
And Menahem proclaimed a tax upon Israel, on all who were powerful and wealthy, so that each one would give to the king of the Assyrians fifty shekels of silver. Then the king of the Assyrians turned back, and he did not remain in the land.

And Menahem slept with his fathers. And Pekahiah, his son, reigned in his place.
23 Pada tahun kelima puluh pemerintahan Raja Uzia atas Yehuda, Pekahya anak Menahem menjadi raja Israel dan memerintah di Samaria dua tahun lamanya.
In the fiftieth year of Azariah, the king of Judah: Pekahiah, the son of Menahem, reigned over Israel, in Samaria, for two years.
24 Ia berdosa kepada TUHAN karena menuruti kejahatan Raja Yerobeam I, yang membuat orang Israel berdosa.
And he did what was evil before the Lord. He did not withdraw from the sins of Jeroboam, the son of Nebat, who caused Israel to sin.
25 Salah seorang dari para perwiranya, yaitu Pekah anak Remalya, berkomplot dengan 50 orang dari Gilead. Lalu dalam sebuah benteng di istana di Samaria mereka membunuh Pekahya bersama dua orang lainnya yang bernama Argob dan Arye. Kemudian Pekah menjadi raja menggantikan Pekahya.
Then Pekah, the son of Remaliah, his commander, conspired against him. And he struck him in Samaria, in the tower of the king’s house, near Argob and Arieh, and with him fifty men from the sons of the Gileadites. And he killed him, and reigned in his place.

27 Pada tahun kelima puluh dua pemerintahan Raja Uzia atas Yehuda, Pekah anak Remalya menjadi raja Israel. Ia memerintah di Samaria 20 tahun lamanya.
In the fifty-second year of Azariah, the king of Judah: Pekah, the son of Remaliah, reigned over Israel, in Samaria, for twenty years.
28 Ia berdosa kepada TUHAN karena mengikuti kejahatan Raja Yerobeam I yang membuat Israel berdosa.
And he did what was evil before the Lord. He did not withdraw from the sins of Jeroboam, the son of Nebat, who caused Israel to sin.
29 Pada masa pemerintahan Pekah, Tiglat-Pileser raja Asyur merebut kota Iyon, Abel-Bet-Maakha, Yanoah, Kedes, Hazor, daerah Gilead, Galilea dan Naftali. Penduduknya diangkutnya juga sebagai tawanan ke Asyur.
In the days of Pekah, the king of Israel, Tiglath-pileser, the king of Assyria, arrived and captured Ijon, and Abel Bethmaacah, and Janoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilee, and the entire land of Naphtali. And he took them away into Assyria.
30 Pada tahun kedua puluh pemerintahan Raja Yotam anak Uzia atas Yehuda, Hosea anak Ela berkomplot melawan Raja Pekah dan membunuh dia, lalu menjadi raja menggantikan dia.
Then Hoshea, the son of Elah, conspired and carried out treachery against Pekah, the son of Remaliah. And he struck him, and killed him. And he reigned in his place, in the twentieth year of Jotham, the son of Uzziah.

32 Pada tahun kedua pemerintahan Raja Pekah anak Remalya atas Israel, Yotam anak Uzia menjadi raja Yehuda.
In the second year of Pekah, the son of Remaliah, the king of Israel: Jotham, son of Uzziah, reigned as king of Judah.
33 Pada waktu itu ia berumur 25 tahun dan ia memerintah di Yerusalem 16 tahun lamanya. Ibunya ialah Yerusa anak Zadok.
He was twenty-five years old when he had begun to reign, and he reigned for sixteen years in Jerusalem. The name of his mother was Jerusha, the daughter of Zadok.
34 Yotam melakukan yang menyenangkan hati TUHAN, seperti Uzia ayahnya.
And he did what was pleasing before the Lord. In accord with all that his father, Uzziah, had done, so he did.
35 Tetapi sayang, tempat-tempat penyembahan dewa tidak dimusnahkannya sehingga rakyat terus saja mempersembahkan kurban dan membakar dupa di situ. Yotamlah yang membangun Pintu Gerbang Utara di Rumah TUHAN.
Yet truly, he did not take away the high places. And still the people were immolating, and burning incense, in the high places. But he edified the gate of the house of the Lord to be very sublime.
36 Pada masa pemerintahan Yotam, TUHAN mulai mengirim Rezin raja Siria dan Pekah raja Israel untuk menyerang Yehuda. Kisah lainnya mengenai Raja Yotam dicatat dalam buku Sejarah Raja-raja Yehuda.

In those days, the Lord began to send, into Judah, Rezin, the king of Syria, and Pekah, the son of Remaliah.
38 Ia meninggal dan dikuburkan di pekuburan raja-raja di Kota Daud. Ahas anaknya menjadi raja menggantikan dia.
And Jotham slept with his fathers, and he was buried with them in the city of David, his father. And Ahaz, his son, reigned in his place.
