Kanta ni Solomon 3
1 Iti rabii idiay pagiddaak, kail-iliwko ti lalaki nga ay-ayatek; binirokko isuna ngem saanko a masarakan.
By night on my bed I sought him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not.
2 Kinunak iti bagik, “Bumangonak ken sursurek ti siudad, dagiti daldalan ken dagiti pagpasyaran; birukek ti ay-ayatek.” Binirokko isuna ngem saanko a nasarakan.
I will rise now, and go about the city in the streets, and in the broad ways I will seek him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not.
3 Nasarankandak dagiti agbanbantay a lallaki bayat ti panagpatpatroliada iti siudad. Sinaludsodko kadakuada, “Nakitayo kadi ti ay-ayatek?”
The watchmen that go about the city found me: to whom I said, Saw ye him whom my soul loveth?
4 Apaman a nakalabasak kadakuada idi nakitak ti ay-ayaten ti kararuak. Inarakupko isuna ket saanko nga inibbatan agingga a naiyunegko isuna iti balay ni inak, iti uneg ti kuarto ti babai a nangisukog kaniak. Kasarsarita ti babai dagiti dadduma a babbai
It was but a little that I passed from them, but I found him whom my soul loveth: I held him, and would not let him go, until I had brought him into my mother’s house, and into the chamber of her that conceived me.
5 Kayatko nga agkarikayo, annak a babbai dagiti tattao ti Jerusalem, babaen kadagiti korso ken kadagiti kabaian nga ugsa iti aw-away, a saanyonto a singsingaen agingga a malpas ti panagkakaiddami. Kasarsarita ti balasang ti bagina
I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please.
6 Ania daytoy a sumangsang-at nga aggapu idiay let-ang a kasla simbuyok ti asuk, agat-mira ken insenso, nga addaan kadagiti amin a polbos nga ilaklako dagiti agtagtagilako?
Who is this that cometh out of the wilderness like pillars of smoke, perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, with all powders of the merchant?
7 Kitaem, ti trono nga awit dagiti adipen ni Solomon; innem a pulo a mannakigubat ti nanglawlaw iti daytoy, innem a pulo a soldado ti Israel.
Behold his bed, which is Solomon’s; threescore valiant men are about it, of the valiant of Israel.
8 Nalalaingda no maipapan iti kampilan ken beteranoda iti pannakigubat. Addaan ti tunggal lalaki iti kampilan iti sikiganna, naarmasanda maibusor kadagiti mangriribuk iti rabii.
They all hold swords, being expert in war: every man hath his sword upon his thigh because of fear in the night.
9 Nagpaaramid ni Ari Solomon iti sedan a tugawna a naaramid iti kayo a naggapu idiay Libano.
King Solomon made himself a chariot of the wood of Lebanon.
10 Naaramid dagiti postena iti pirak; naaramid ti balitok iti likodna, ken lila a lupot ti tugawna. Iti akin-uneg a pasetna ket naarkusan nga addaan iti ayat babaen kadagiti annak a babbai dagiti tattao ti Jerusalem
He made the pillars thereof of silver, the bottom thereof of gold, the covering of it of purple, the midst thereof being paved with love, for the daughters of Jerusalem.
11 Rummuarkayo, annak a babbai dagiti tattao ti Sion, ket matmatanyo ni Ari Solomon, suotna ti korona nga inkorona ni inana kenkuana idi aldaw ti panagasawana, iti naragsak nga aldaw iti biagna.
Go forth, O ye daughters of Zion, and behold king Solomon with the crown wherewith his mother crowned him in the day of his espousals, and in the day of the gladness of his heart.
