< Dagiti Salmo 129 >

1 “Masansan a rautendak sipud pay kinaagtutubok,” ibaga koma ti Israel.
Many times they have afflicted me from my youth up. Let Israel [God prevails] now say,
2 “Masansan a rautendak sipud pay kinaagtutubok, ngem saandak latta a naparmek.
many times they have afflicted me from my youth up, yet they have not prevailed against me.
3 Nagarado iti likodak dagiti agar-arado; pinaatiddogda dagiti gulgulisda.
The plowers plowed on my back. They made their furrows long.
4 Nalinteg ni Yahweh; pinutedna dagiti tali dagiti nadangkes.”
Adonai is righteous. He has cut apart the cords of the wicked.
5 Maibabainda koma amin ken tumallikodda, dagiti manggurgura iti Sion.
Let them be disappointed and turned backward, all those who hate Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking].
6 Agbalinda koma a kasla iti ruot kadagiti tuktok ti balay a magango sakbay a dumakkel,
Let them be as the grass on the housetops, which withers before it grows up;
7 a saanna a mapunno iti ima ti aggapgapas wenno ti barukong ti agrepreppet iti apit.
with which the reaper does not fill his hand, nor he who binds sheaves, his bosom.
8 Saan koma nga ibaga dagiti lumabas, “Maadda koma kadakayo ti bendision ni Yahweh; bendisionandakayo iti nagan ni Yahweh.”
Neither do those who go by say, “The blessing of Adonai be on you. We bless you in Adonai’s name.”
