< Filemon 1 >

1 Siak ni Pablo, maysa a balud ni Cristo Jesus, ken ni kabsattayo a Timoteo ket agsursuratkami kenni Felimon, nga ay-ayatenmi a gayyem ken katrabahoan,
Paul, prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy my brother, —unto Philemon the beloved, and a fellow worker of ours,
2 ken ni Apia a kabsatmi a babai, ken ni Arkipo a padami a soldado, ken ti iglesia nga aggimong iti balaymo:
And unto Apphia our sister. And unto Archippus our fellow-soldier, and unto the assembly which meeteth, at thy house:
3 Parabur kadakayo ken kapia manipud iti Dios nga Amatayo ken ni Apo Jesu-Cristo.
Favour unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and Lord Jesus Christ.
4 Kankanayon nga agyamanak iti Diosko. Dakdakamatenka kadagiti karkararagko,
I am giving thanks unto my God—always, making mention, of thee, in my prayers,
5 Nangngegko iti ayat ken ti pammati nga adda kenka kenni Apo Jesus ken para kadagiti amin a namati.
Hearing of thy love, and of the faith which thou hast towards the Lord Jesus and towards all the saints, —
6 Ikararagko a nabunga koma iti pannakiramanmo iti pammati a maipaay iti pannakaammo iti tunggal nasayaat a banag nga adda kadatayo kenni Cristo.
To the end that, the fellowship of thy faith, may become, energetic, by a personal knowledge of every good thing that is in us towards Christ;
7 Gapu ta naaddaanak iti kasta unay a rag-o ken liwliwa gapu iti ayatmo, agsipud ta pinaragsakmo dagiti puso dagiti namati, kabsat.
For, much joy, have I had, and encouragement, by occasion of thy love, in that, the tender affections of the saints, have had rest given them by thee, brother.
8 Ngarud, uray pay no adda kaniak amin a kinatured gapu kenni Cristo tapno bilinenka iti rumbeng nga aramidem,
Wherefore, though I have, much, freedom of speech, in Christ, to be enjoining upon thee that which is befitting,
9 ngem gapu iti ayat, dawdawatek ketdi kenka—Siak, ni Pablo, maysa a nataengan a tao, ken balud ita gapu kenni Cristo Jesus.
Yet, for loves sake, I rather exhort, —being, such a one, as Paul the aged, now, also, even a prisoner of Christ Jesus, —
10 Agdawdawatak kenka iti maipapan kenni Onesimo nga anakko, a nagbalinak a pannakaamana iti pannakabaludko.
I exhort thee concerning my own child, whom I have begotten in my bonds, —Onesimus:
11 Gapu ta awan idi iti serserbina kenka, ngem napategen isuna ita kadata.
Him who, at one time, was, unto thee, unserviceable, but, now, unto thee and unto me, serviceable;
12 Pagsubliek isuna kenka—nga isu ti ay-ayatek unay.
Whom I have sent back unto thee—him, that is, my own, tender affections!—
13 Tarigagayko a pagtalinaedek pay koma isuna kaniak, tapno makatulong kaniak bayat iti kinaawanmo, bayat ti pannakaibaludko gapu iti ebanghelio.
Whom, I, was minded, with myself, to detain, that, in thy behalf, unto me, he might be ministering in the bonds of the joyful message;
14 Ngem saanko a kayat ti agaramid iti aniaman a banag nga awan pammalubosmo. Inaramidko daytoy tapno saan a maaramid ti animan a naimbag gapu ta pinilitka, ngem gapu ta kayatmo nga aramiden daytoy.
But, apart from thy mind, I wished to do, nothing, that, not as by necessity, thy goodness should be, but, by choice.
15 Nalabit a ti rason a naisina isuna kenka iti apagbiit, ket tapno agsubli kenka iti agnanayon, (aiōnios g166)
For, peradventure, for this cause, was he separated for an hour, that, as an age-abiding possession, thou mightest have him back, — (aiōnios g166)
16 Tapno saan laengen isuna a kas tagabu, ngem nangatngato pay ngem tagabu, kas maysa nga ay-ayaten a kabsat— nangnangruna kaniak, ken ad-adda pay koma kenka, iti lasag ken iti Apo.
No longer as a servant, but above a servant—a brother beloved, very greatly to me, but, how much rather, to thee—both in the flesh and in the Lord!
17 No ibilangnak ngarud a kas kadua, awatem isuna a kas ti panangawatmo koma kaniak.
If, therefore, thou holdest me as one in thy fellowship, take him unto thee, as myself;
18 Ngem no nagbasol isuna kenka, wenno nakautang kenka iti aniaman a banag, siakon ti agbayad iti dayta.
And, if he hath wronged thee at all or oweth thee aught, the same, unto me, do thou reckon: —
19 Siak, ni Pablo, isuratko daytoy babaen iti bukodko nga ima: Bayadankanto. Saankon nga ipalagip kenka a bulodmo kaniak ti biagmo.
I, Paul, have written [it] with, my own, hand, —I, will repay [it]; that I may not tell thee—that, thyself, unto me, thou still owest.
20 Wen, kabsat, ipalubosmo nga agragsakak iti Apo; pabaroem ti pusok kenni Cristo.
Yea! brother, I, would, from thee, have help, in the Lord: give rest unto my tender affections in Christ.
21 Adda talgedko maipanggep iti panagtulnogmo, agsuratak kenka, nga ammok nga ad-adu pay ti aramidemto ngem ti dawatek.
Confident of thine obedience, I have written unto thee, knowing that, even beyond what I say, thou wilt do: —
22 Maysa pay, mangisaganaka ti siled ti sangaili para kaniak, ta namnamaek a babaen kadagiti karkararagyo ket mapasyarkayonto iti mabiit.
At the same time, moreover, be also getting ready for me, a lodging; for I am hoping that, through your prayers, I shall be granted as a favour unto you.
23 Kablaawannaka Ni Epafras a padak a balud kenni Cristo Jesus,
There salute thee—Epaphras my fellow-captive in Christ Jesus,
24 ken kablaawandakayo met da Marcos, Aristarco, Demas, Lucas, a katrabahoak.
Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, Luke, —my fellow-workers.
25 Sapay koma ta ti parabur ni Apotayo a Jesu-Cristo ti makikaadda iti espirituyo. Amen.
The favour of the Lord Jesus Christ, be with your spirit.
