< Mateo 9 >

1 Limmugan ni Jesus iti maysa a bangka, bimmallasiw, ket napan iti bukodna a siudad.
And he got into a boat and went across and came to his town.
2 Ket sadiay adda inyegda kenkuana a paralitiko a lalaki a nakaidda iti ikamen. Iti pannakakita ni Jesus iti pammatida, kinunana iti paralitiko a lalaki, “Anak, agraksakka. Ta napakawanen dagiti basbasolmo.”
And they took to him a man stretched on a bed who had no power of moving; and Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the man who was ill, Son, take heart; you have forgiveness for your sins.
3 Sadiay adda sumagmamano nga eskriba a kunkunada iti bagbagida, “Daytoy a lalaki ket mangtabtabbaaw.”
And some of the scribes said among themselves, This man has no respect for God.
4 Ammo ni Jesus dagiti panpanunotenda ket kinunana, “Apay nga agpanpanunotkayo iti dakes kadagiti pusoyo?
And Jesus, having knowledge of what was in their minds, said, Why are your thoughts evil?
5 Ta ania ti nalaklaka nga ibaga, 'Napakawanen dagiti basolmo,' wenno ti ibaga a, 'Tumakderka ket magnaka'?
For which is the simpler, to say, You have forgiveness for your sins; or to say, Get up and go?
6 Ngem tapno maammoanyo a ti Anak ti Tao ket addaan iti kinaturay ditoy lubong a mangpakawan kadagiti basbasol, “kinunana iti paralitiko, “Tumaderka, pidutem ta ikamenmo, ket mapanka iti balaymo.”
But so that you may see that on earth the Son of man has authority for the forgiveness of sins, (then said he to the man who was ill, ) Get up, and take up your bed, and go to your house.
7 Ket timmakder ti lalaki ket napan iti balayna.
And he got up and went away to his house.
8 Idi nakita dagiti adu a tattao daytoy, nasdaawda ken dinaydayawda ti Dios, nga isu ti nangted iti kasta a kinaturay iti tattao.
But when the people saw it they were full of fear, and gave glory to God who had given such authority to men.
9 Bayat ti ilalabas ni Jesus manipud sadiay, nakitana ti maysa a lalaki nga agnagan iti Mateo, nga agtugtugaw iti tolda a pagsingsingiran iti buis. Kinunana kenkuana, “Sumurotka kaniak.” Timmakder isuna ket simmurot kenkuana.
And when Jesus was going from there, he saw a man whose name was Matthew, seated at the place where taxes were taken; and he said to him, Come after me. And he got up and went after him.
10 Idi nagtugaw ni Jesus iti maysa a balay tapno mangan, immay met ti adu nga agsingsingir iti buis ken managbasol a tattao ket nakipangan kenni Jesus ken kadagiti adalanna.
And it came about, when he was in the house taking food, that a number of tax-farmers and sinners came and took their places with Jesus and his disciples.
11 Idi nakita dagiti Pariseo daytoy, kinunada kadagiti adalanna, “Apay a makipangpangan ti manursuroyo kadagiti agsingsingir iti buis ken managbasol a tattao?”
And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to his disciples, Why does your Master take food with tax-farmers and sinners?
12 Idi nangngeg ni Jesus daytoy, kinunana, “Dagiti tattao a napigsa ti bagina ket saanda nga agkasapulan iti mangngagas, dagiti laeng masaksakit.
But on hearing this he said, Those who are well have no need of a medical man, but those who are ill.
13 Nasken a mapanyo ammoen ti kaipapanan daytoy, 'Tarigagayak ti asi saan ket a daton.' Ta immayak, saan a tapno mangayab kadagiti nalinteg nga agbabawi, ngem kadagiti managbasol.”
But go and take to heart the sense of these words, My desire is for mercy, not offerings: for I have come not to get the upright, but sinners.
14 Kalpasanna, immay kenkuana dagiti adalan ni Juan ket kinunada, “Apay a dakami ken dagiti Pariseo ket masansan nga agayunar, ngem dagiti adalam ket saanda nga agayunar?”
Then the disciples of John came to him, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees frequently go without food, but your disciples do not?
15 Kinuna ni Jesus kadakuada, “Mabalin kadi nga agladingit dagiti makiboda no adda pay laeng kadakuada ti nobio? Ngem dumtengto ti aldaw a ti nobio ket maipanaw manipud kadakuada, ket kalpasanna agayunardanto.
And Jesus said to them, Will the friends of the newly-married man be sad as long as he is with them? But the days will come when he will be taken away from them, and then will they go without food.
16 Awan ti tao a mangitakop iti baro a lupot iti daan a pagan-anay, ta ti takop ket mapisangto manipud iti lupot, ket ad-addanto a mapigis.
And no man puts a bit of new cloth on an old coat, for by pulling away from the old, it makes a worse hole.
17 Kasta met a saan nga ikabil dagiti tattao ti baro nga arak iti daan a lalat a pagikkan iti arak. No aramidenda dayta, bumtak ti lalat, maibellengto ti arak, ket mapirdi dagiti lalat a pagikkan iti arak. Ngem ketdi, ikabilda ti baro nga arak iti baro a lalat a pagikkan, ket saandanto a mapirdi.
And men do not put new wine into old wine-skins; or the skins will be burst and the wine will come out, and the skins are of no more use: but they put new wine into new wine-skins, and so the two will be safe.
18 Bayat nga ibagbaga ni Jesus dagitoy a banbanag kadakuada, pagammoan adda maysa nga opisial nga immay ken nagparintumeng kenkuana. Kinunana, “Ti anakko a babai ket kapatpatayna, ngem umayka ket ipataymo ta imam kenkuana, ket agbiagto isuna.”
While he was saying these things to them, there came a ruler and gave him worship, saying, My daughter is even now dead; but come and put your hand on her, and she will come back to life.
19 Ket timmakder ni Jesus ken simmurot kenkuana, ken kasta met ti inaramid dagiti adalanna.
And Jesus got up and went after him, and so did his disciples.
20 Pagammoan, adda met babai nga agpadpadara iti sangapulo ket dua a tawen, ket napan iti likudan ni Jesus ket sinagidna ti gayadan ti pagan-anay ni Jesus.
And a woman, who for twelve years had had a flow of blood, came after him, and put her hand on the edge of his robe:
21 Ta kinunana iti bagina, “No masagidko laeng ti pagan-anayna, umimbagak.”
Because, she said to herself, if I may but put my hand on his robe, I will be made well.
22 Ngem timmalliaw ni Jesus ket nakitana isuna, ket kinunana, “Anakko a babai, pakiridem ta pakinakemmo. Pinaimbagnaka ti pammatim.” Ket dagus nga immimbag.
But Jesus, turning and seeing her, said, Daughter, take heart; your faith has made you well. And the woman was made well from that hour.
23 Idi simmangpet ni Jesus idiay balay ti opisial, nakitana dagiti agtuktokar iti plauta ken dagiti agaariwawa a tattao.
And when Jesus came into the ruler's house and saw the players with their instruments and the people making a noise,
24 Kinunana, “Pumanawkayo, ta saan a natay ti ubing, ngem isuna ket nakaturog.” Ngem kinatkatawaanda isuna nga inum-umsi.
He said, Make room; for the girl is not dead, but sleeping. And they were laughing at him.
25 Idi naparuaren dagiti adu a tattao, simrek ni Jesus iti siled ket iniggamanna ti imana, ket bimmangon ti ubing.
But when the people were sent out, he went in and took her by the hand; and the girl got up.
26 Ti damag maipanggep iti daytoy ket nagwaras iti amin iti dayta a rehion.
And the news of it went out into all that land.
27 Iti ilalabas ni Jesus manipud sadiay, simmurot kenkuana ti dua a bulsek a lallaki. Saanda a nagsarsardeng a nagpukpukkaw a kunada, “Maasika kadakami, Anak ni David!”
And when Jesus went on from there, two blind men came after him, crying out, Have mercy on us, you Son of David.
28 Idi nakastrek ni Jesus iti balay, napan kenkuana dagiti bulsek a lallaki. Kinuna ni Jesus kadakuada, “Mamatikayo kadi a kabaelak nga aramiden daytoy?” Kinunada kenkuana, “Wen, Apo.”
And when he had come into the house, the blind men came to him; and Jesus said to them, Have you faith that I am able to do this? They said to him, Yes, Lord.
29 Ket sinagid ni Jesus dagiti matada ket kinunana, “Maaramid ngarud kadakayo sigun iti pammatiyo.”
Then he put his hand on their eyes, saying, As your faith is, let it be done to you.
30 Ket nalukatan dagiti matada. Kalpasanna, nainget a binilin ida ni Jesus a kunana, “Kitaenyo ta awan koma ti makaammo ti maipanggep iti daytoy.”
And their eyes were made open. And Jesus said to them sharply, Let no man have knowledge of it.
31 Ngem rimmuar dagiti dua a lallaki ket inwaragawagda ti maipanggep iti daytoy a damag iti entero a rehion.
But they went out and gave news of him in all that land.
32 Idi pumanawen dagiti dua a lallaki, adda met maysa nga umel a lalaki a linuganan ti demonio nga inyegda kenni Jesus.
And while they were going away, there came to him a man without the power of talking, and with an evil spirit.
33 Idi napaksiaten ti demonio, nagsao ti umel a lalaki. Nasdaaw dagiti adu a tattao ket kinunada, “Awan pay ti nakita a kastoy ditoy Israel!”
And when the evil spirit had been sent out, the man had the power of talking: and they were all surprised, saying, Such a thing has never been seen in Israel.
34 Ngem kunkuna dagiti Pariseo, “Babaen iti pangulo dagiti demonio, pakpaksiatenna dagiti demonio.”
But the Pharisees said, By the ruler of evil spirits, he sends evil spirits out of men.
35 Napan ni Jesus kadagiti amin a siudad ken aw-away. Intultuloyna ti nangisursuro kadagiti sinagogada, inkaskasabana ti ebanghelio ti pagarian, ken pinaimbagna amin a kita ti sakit ken amin a kita ti an-annayen.
And Jesus went about all the towns and small places, teaching in their Synagogues and preaching the good news of the kingdom and making well all sorts of disease and pain.
36 Idi makitana dagiti adu a tattao, naasian isuna kadakuada, gapu ta mariribukanda ken maup-upayda. Kasla da la karnero nga awan ti mangipastor kadakuada.
But when he saw all the people he was moved with pity for them, because they were troubled and wandering like sheep without a keeper.
37 Kinunana kadagiti adalanna, “Nawadwad ti maapit, ngem sumagmamano dagiti agtrabtrabaho.
Then he said to his disciples, There is much grain but not enough men to get it in.
38 Agkararagkayo ngarud iti Apo ti panagapit, tapno mangibaon isuna kadagiti agtrabaho iti apitenna.”
Make prayer, then, to the Lord of the grain-fields, that he may send out workers to get in his grain.
