< Mateo 11 >

1 Ket napasamak a kalpasan a binilin ni Jesus dagiti sangapulo ket dua nga adalanna, pimmanaw isuna manipud sadiay tapno mangisuro ken mangasaba kadagiti siudadda.
And it came to pass, when Jesus ended directing his twelve disciples, he departed thence to teach and to preach in their cities.
2 Ita, idi nangngeg ni Juan idiay pagbaludan ti maipangep kadagiti inaramid ti Cristo, nangipatulod iti mensahe babaen kadagiti adalanna
And John having heard in the prison the works of the Christ, having sent two of his disciples,
3 ket kinunana kenkuana, “Sika kadi daydiay umay, wenno agbirokkami pay kadi iti sabali?”
said to him, 'Art thou He who is coming, or for another do we look?'
4 Simmungbat ni Jesus ket kinunana kadakuada, “Mapankayo ket ipadamagyo kenni Juan no ania ti nakita ken nangngeganyo.
And Jesus answering said to them, 'Having gone, declare to John the things that ye hear and see,
5 Makakitan dagiti bulsek a tattao, magmagnan dagiti pilay a tao, madaldalusanen dagiti agketong, makangngegen dagiti tuleng a tattao, mapagpagungaren dagiti natay, ken maipadpadamag ti naimbag a damag kadagiti agkasapulan a tattao.
blind receive sight, and lame walk, lepers are cleansed, and deaf hear, dead are raised, and poor have good news proclaimed,
6 Ket nabendisionan ti siasinoman nga awan pulos ti tiempo nga agduadua kaniak.”
and happy is he who may not be stumbled in me.'
7 Ket idi pimmawen dagitoy a lallaki, inrugi ni Jesus nga ibaga ti maipanggep kenni Juan kadagiti adu a tattao, “Ania ti napanyo kinita idiay let-ang— maysa a runo a gungngunggonen ti angin?
And as they are going, Jesus began to say to the multitudes concerning John, 'What went ye out to the wilderness to view? — a reed shaken by the wind?
8 Ngem ania ti napanyo kinita— maysa a tao a nakakawes iti nalammuyot a pagan-anay? Pudno a dagiti nakakawes iti nalammuyot a pagan-anay ket agnanaed kadagiti balay dagiti ari.
'But what went ye out to see? — a man clothed in soft garments? lo, those wearing the soft things are in the kings' houses.
9 Ngem ania ti napanyo kinita— maysa a profeta? Wen, kunak kadakayo, nangnangruna pay ngem maysa a profeta.
'But what went ye out to see? — a prophet? yes, I say to you, and more than a prophet,
10 Isuna ti dakdakamaten ti naisurat idi, 'Kitaem, ibaonko ti mensaherok iti sangoananam a mangisagananto iti dalanmo sakbay a mapanka.'
for this is he of whom it hath been written, Lo, I do send My messenger before thy face, who shall prepare thy way before thee.
11 Sipupudno nga ibagak kadakayo, kadagiti impasngay dagiti babbai ket awan ti siasinoman a natantan-ok ngem ni Juan a Mammuniag. Ngem ti tao a kanunumoan iti pagarian ti langit ket natantan-ok ngem isuna.
Verily I say to you, there hath not risen, among those born of women, a greater than John the Baptist, but he who is least in the reign of the heavens is greater than he.
12 Manipud kadagiti al-aldaw ni Juan a Mammuniag agingga ita, ti pagarian ti langit ket agsagsagaba iti kinaranggas, ket dagiti nararanggas a tattao pilitinda nga alaen daytoy.
'And, from the days of John the Baptist till now, the reign of the heavens doth suffer violence, and violent men do take it by force,
13 Ta amin dagiti profeta ken ti linteg ket nangipadpadtoda agingga kenni Juan.
for all the prophets and the law till John did prophesy,
14 Ket no sipapaluboskayo nga awaten daytoy, daytoy ni Elias, ti naipadto nga umay.
and if ye are willing to receive [it], he is Elijah who was about to come;
15 Siasinoman nga addaan iti lapayag a dumngeg, dumngeg koma isuna.
he who is having ears to hear — let him hear.
16 ania ti pangiyaspingan iti daytoy a kaputotan? Kasla da la ubbing nga agay-ayam iti pagtagilakuan, nga agtugtugaw ket ibaga iti maysa ken maysa
'And to what shall I liken this generation? it is like little children in market-places, sitting and calling to their comrades,
17 a kunada, 'Nagtukarkami iti plauta para kenka, ket saanka a nagsala. Nagladingitkami, ket saanka a nagsangit.'
and saying, We piped unto you, and ye did not dance, we lamented to you, and ye did not smite the breast.
18 Ta immay ni Juan a saan a mangmangan iti tinapay wenno uminom iti arak, ket kinunada, 'addaan isuna iti demonio.'
'For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a demon;
19 Immay ti Anak ti Tao a nangan ken imminom ket kinunada, 'Kitaenyo, isuna ket maysa a narawet ken mammartek a tao, gayyem dagiti agsingsingir iti buis ken dagiti managbasol!' Ngem napaneknekan ti kinasirib babaen kadagiti aramidna.”
the Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, Lo, a man, a glutton, and a wine-drinker, a friend of tax-gatherers and sinners, and wisdom was justified of her children.'
20 Kalpasan ket inrugi ni Jesus a binabalaw dagiti siudad a kaaduan a nangaramidanna kadagiti naindaklan nga aramidna, gapu ta saanda a nagbabawi.
Then began he to reproach the cities in which were done most of his mighty works, because they did not reform.
21 “Asika pay, Corazin! Asika pay, Betsaida! No dagiti naidaklan nga aramid a naaramid kadakayo ket naaramid idiay Tiro ken Sidon, nabayagkoman a nagbabawida babaen iti nakersang a lupot ken dapdapo.
'Woe to thee, Chorazin! woe to thee, Bethsaida! because, if in Tyre and Sidon had been done the mighty works that were done in you, long ago in sackcloth and ashes they had reformed;
22 Ngem maibturanto ti pannakaukom ti Tiro ken Sidon iti dayta nga aldaw ngem kadakayo.
but I say to you, to Tyre and Sidon it shall be more tolerable in a day of judgment than for you.
23 Sika, Capernaum, panpanunotem kadi a maitan-okka idiay langit? Saan, maipababakanto idiay hades. Ta no idiay Sodoma ti nakaaramidan dagiti naindaklan nga aramid a naaramid kadakayo, adda koma pay laeng agingga ita. (Hadēs g86)
'And thou, Capernaum, which unto the heaven wast exalted, unto hades shalt be brought down, because if in Sodom had been done the mighty works that were done in thee, it had remained unto this day; (Hadēs g86)
24 Ngem ibagak kadakayo a nalaklakanto para iti daga ti Sodoma inton aldaw ti pannakaukom ngem kadakayo.”
but I say to you, to the land of Sodom it shall be more tolerable in a day of judgment than to thee.'
25 Iti dayta a tiempo kinuna ni Jesus, “Dayawenka, Ama, Apo ti langit ken ti daga, gapu ta inlimedmo dagitoy a banbanag manipud kadagiti nasirib ken nasaririt, ket impakaammom kadagiti saan a nasuroan, a kas kadagiti babassit nga ubbing.
At that time Jesus answering said, 'I do confess to Thee, Father, Lord of the heavens and of the earth, that thou didst hide these things from wise and understanding ones, and didst reveal them to babes.
26 Wen, Ama, ta makaay-ayo unay daytoy iti imatangmo.
Yes, Father, because so it was good pleasure before Thee.
27 Amin a banbanag ket naitalek kaniak manipud iti Amak. Ket awan ti makaam-ammo iti Anak malaksid iti Ama, ket awan ti makaam-ammo iti Ama malaksid iti Anak, ken siasinoman a tarigagayan ti Anak a pangipakaammoan kenkuana.
'All things were delivered to me by my Father, and none doth know the Son, except the Father, nor doth any know the Father, except the Son, and he to whom the Son may wish to reveal [Him].
28 Umaykayo kaniak, aminkayo nga agtrabtrabaho ken madagdagsenan, ket ikkankayo iti panaginana.
'Come unto me, all ye labouring and burdened ones, and I will give you rest,
29 Alaenyo ti sangolko ket agsursurokayo kaniak, ta naemmaak ken napakumbaba ti pusok, ket makasapulkayo iti inana para kadagiti kararuayo.
take up my yoke upon you, and learn from me, because I am meek and humble in heart, and ye shall find rest to your souls,
30 Ta nalag-an ti sangolko ken nalag-an ti ipabaklayko kadakayo.''
for my yoke [is] easy, and my burden is light.'
