Lucas 7
1 Kalpasan nga nalpas ni Hesus ti amin nga ibagbagana nga dingdinggen dagiti tattao, simrek isuna idiay Capernaum.
Now when he had ended all his sayings in the hearing of the people, he entered into Capernaum.
2 Adda adipen ti maysa nga senturion, nga napateg kenkuana, agsaksakit ken dandanin matay.
And a certain centurion’s servant, who was dear to him, was sick, and ready to die.
3 Ngem idi nangngeganna ti maipapan ken ni Hesus, nangibaon ti senturion kadagiti panglakayen dagiti Judio tapno kiddawenda nga umay ket isalakanna ti adipenna manipud iti pannakatay.
And when he heard of Jesus, he sent to him the elders of the Jews, beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant.
4 Idi nakaasidegdan ken ni Hesus, nagpakpakaasida kenkuana iti kasta unay a kunada, “Maikari isuna nga aramidem daytoy para kenkuana,
And when they came to Jesus, they besought him earnestly, saying, That he was worthy for whom he should do this:
5 agsipud ta ipatpategna unay daytoy nga nasiontayo ken nangipatakder ti sinagoga para kadatayo.”
For he loveth our nation, and he hath built us a synagogue.
6 Intultuloy ni Hesus iti pannagnana ket kimmuyog kadakuada. Ngem idi saanen nga adayo isuna manipud iti balay, nangibaon ti senturion kadagiti gagayyemna nga mangibaga kenkuana, “Apo saanmon nga parigaten ta bagim, gapu ta saanak nga maikari nga masapul a sumrekka iti sirok iti bubungak.
Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying to him, Lord, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof:
7 Gapu iti daytoy, saanko pay nga inbilang toy bagik nga mabalin nga maikari nga umasideg kenka, ngem iyebkas mo laeng ti sao ket maimbagan ti adipenko.
Therefore neither thought I myself worthy to come to thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed.
8 Ta uray siak met ket taoak nga naikabil iti babaen ti turay ken addaanak met kadagiti soldado nga adda iti sirukko. Ibagak iti maysa, 'Mapanka,' ket mapan isuna, ken iti maysa pay, 'Umayka,' ket umay isuna, ken iti adipenko, 'Aramidem daytoy', ket aramidenna.”
For I also am a man placed under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say to one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
9 Idi nangngegan ni Hesus daytoy, nasdaaw unay kenkuana, ket simmango ngarud kadagiti tattao nga sumursurot kenkuana ket kinunana, “Ibagak kadakayo, awan pay nasarakak uray ditoy Israel nga siasinoman nga addaan ti dakkel nga pammati.”
When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned himself about, and said to the people that followed him, I say to you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
10 Ket dagiti naibaon, nagsublida iti balay ket nasarakanda nga nasalun-aten ti adipen.
And they that were sent, returning to the house, found the servant well that had been sick.
11 Iti saan unay a nabayag kalpasan dayta, napasamak nga agdaldalyasat ni Hesus iti siudad nga maaw-awagan ti Nain. Dagiti adalanna ket kimmuyog kenkuana ken simmurot met ti nakaad-adu nga tattao.
And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and many people.
12 Idi umas-asidegen iti ruangan ti siudad, pagammoan, adda natay nga tao nga bagbagkatenda nga paruar, nga maymaysa nga anak nga lalaki ti inana.
Now when he came near to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and many people of the city were with her.
13 Isu ket balo a babai, ken kaduana iti adu met bassit nga tattao iti dayta nga siyudad. Idi makitana isuna, iti Apo ket kasta unay ti pannakatignay ti asina para kenkuana ket kinunana kenkuana, “Saanka nga agsangit”.
And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said to her, Weep not.
14 Ket nagpasango ni Hesus ket sinagidna iti pagibagbagkatan ti bangkay, ket nagtalinaed met nga sitatakder dagiti agbagbagkat. Kinunana, “Agtutubo, ibagak kenka, bumangonka”.
And he came and touched the bier: and they that bore him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say to thee, Arise.
15 Nagtugaw ti natay a lalaki nagtugaw ken nangrugi nga nagsao. Ket inyawat ni Hesus iti inana.
And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.
16 Ket inabak ida amin iti buteng. Indaydayawda ngarud iti Dios, ibagbagada, “Natan-ok nga propeta iti timmaud kadatayo” ken “Iti Dios kimmita kadagiti tattaona.”
And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet hath risen among us; and, That God hath visited his people.
17 Daytoy nga damag maipanggep ken ni Hesus ket nagwaras iti intero nga Judea ken kadagiti amin nga kabangibang nga rehion.
And this rumour of him went forth throughout all Judaea, and throughout all the surrounding region.
18 Dagiti adalan ni Juan imbagada kenkuana amin dagitoy nga banbanag.
And the disciples of John reported to him of all these things.
19 Inayaban ngarud ni Juan ti dua kadagiti adalanna ket imbaonna ida iti Apo nga mangibaga, “Sika kadi diay Umayto, wenno adda pay kadi sabali a tao nga inkami biroken?”
And John calling two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?
20 Idi nakaasidegdan ken ni Hesus, kinuna dagiti lallaki, “Ni Juan nga Mammunniag imbaonna kami nga mangibaga kenka “Sika kadi diay Umayto, wenno adda pay kadi sabali nga tao nga inkami biroken?””
When the men had come to him, they said, John the Baptist hath sent us to thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?
21 Iti dayta nga oras, pinaimbagna iti adu nga tattao manipud saksakit ken an-anayenda ken manipud kadagiti dakes nga espiritu, ken pinatganna nga dagiti bulsek nga tatto ket makakita.
And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and afflictions, and of evil spirits; and to many that were blind he gave sight.
22 Simmungbat ni Hesus ket kinunana kadakuada, “Inton pumanaw kayo, ipakaammoyo ken ni Juan no ania dagiti nakita ken nangngeganyo. Makakitan dagiti bulsek nga tattao, makapagnan dagiti pilay nga tattao, malinlinisanen dagiti addaan iti ketong, makangngegen dagiti tuleng nga tattao, mapagpagungaren dagiti natay nga tattao, ken makaskasabaanen iti naimbag a damag dagiti agkasapulan.
Then Jesus answering said to them, Go, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; that the blind see, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.
23 Iti tao nga saan nga agsardeng nga mamati kaniak gapu kadagiti aramidko ket nabendisionan.”
And blessed is he, who shall not be offended because of me.
24 Idi nakapanawen dagiti babaonen ni Juan, inrugi ni Hesus nga inbaga kadagiti tattao iti maipanggep ken ni Juan, “Ania ti napanyo kinita idiay let-ang? Runo kadi nga gungungunen ti angin?
And when the messengers of John had departed, he began to speak to the people concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?
25 Ngem ania ti napanyo kinita? Maysa kadi nga tao nga nagkawes iti nalukneng a pagan-anay? Kitaenyo, dagiti tattao nga nakakawes iti napipintas nga pagan-anay ken agbibiag nga aglaplapusanan, agnanaedda kadagiti palasio ti ar- ari.
But what went ye out to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? Behold, they who are gorgeously apparelled, and live delicately, are in kings’ courts.
26 Ngem ania ti napanyo kinita? Maysa kadi nga propeta? Wen, ibagak kadakayo, nangnangruna pay ngem maysa nga propeta.
But what went ye out to see? A prophet? Yea, I say to you, and much more than a prophet.
27 Isuna daytoy pakaiturungan iti naisurat, 'Kitaenyo, ibaonko iti mensaherok sakbay iti rupam, nga mangisagana iti dalanmo sakbay kenka.'
This is he, concerning whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, who shall prepare thy way before thee.
28 Ibagak kadakayo, nga kadagiti inyanak dagiti babbai, awan iti natantan-ok pay ngem ni Juan, ngem iti kababaan nga tao iti pagarian ti Dios ket natantan-ok pay ngem isuna.”
For I say to you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.
29 Idi nangngegan dagiti tattao daytoy, pakairamanan dagiti agsingsingir iti buis, impaduyakyakda nga nalinteg iti Dios. Karaman isuda kadagiti nabautisaran iti bautisar ni Juan.
And all the people that heard him, and the tax collectors, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John.
30 Ngem dagiti Pariseo ken nalalaing iti linteg dagiti Judio nga saan a nagpabautisar kenkuana, nilaksidda iti kinasirib ti Dios a para kadakuada.
But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized by him.
31 “Ania ngarud iti mabalin ko nga pangiyaspingan kadagiti tattao tatta nga kapututan? Ania kadi iti pakaiyaspinganda?
And the Lord said, To what then shall I liken the men of this generation? and to what are they like?
32 Kasla da la ubbing nga agga-ayam idiay pagtagilakuan nga agtutugaw ken ay-ayabanda iti tunggal maysa nga kunada, 'Pinatukarmi ti plauta para kadakayo, ket dikay met nagsala. Nagladingit kami, ket dikay met nagsangit.'
They are like children sitting in the marketplace, and calling one to another, and saying, We have piped to you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned to you, and ye have not wept.
33 Agsipud ta immay ni Juan nga Mammunniag a saan nga mangmangan ti tinapay ken saan nga nagin-inom iti arak, ket ibagbagayo, 'Adda demonyona.'
For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a demon.
34 Immay ti Anak ti Tao ket nangan ken naginom ket kunayo, 'Kitaenyo, narawet daytoy nga tao ken mammartek, gayyem dagiti agsingsingir ti buis ken dagiti managbasol.'
The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!
35 Ngem iti sirib ket maipakita a nalinteg babaen kadagiti amin nga annakna.”
But wisdom is justified by all her children.
36 Itatta, adda maysa nga Pariseo nga mangkidkiddaw ken Hesus nga makipangan kenkuana. Isu nga kalpasan a nakastreken ni Hesus iti balay ti Pariseo, insanggirna idiay ayan iti lamisaan tapno mangan.
And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee’s house, and sat down to eat.
37 Pagammoan, adda maysa nga babai iti dayta nga siudad, nga isuna ket managbasol. Naammoanna nga adda ni Hesus nga agsangsanggir idiay balay ti Pariseo, ket napan isuna ken nangitugot iti bangbanglo nga naikabil iti alabastro nga fraskita.
And, behold, a woman in the city, who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus was eating in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,
38 Nagtakder iti likudan ni Hesus nga asideg iti sakaananna ken nagsangit. Ket inrugina nga binasa iti luana dagiti saka ni Hesus, ket pinunasanna ida iti buokna, inagepna dagiti sakana ken binukbukanna ida ti bangbanglo.
And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.
39 Idi nakita daytoy iti Pariseo nga nangawis ken ni Hesus, pinanunotna iti bagina nga kunana, “No daytoy nga tao ket propeta, ammona koma no siasino ken no ania nga klase nga babai iti mangsagsagid kenkuana, nga isu ket managbasol.”
Now when the Pharisee who had invited him saw it, he spoke within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.
40 Simmungbat ni Hesus ket kinunana kenkuana, '''Simon, adda iti banag nga ibagak kenka.” Kinunana, “Ibagam, Maestro!”
And Jesus answering said to him, Simon, I have somewhat to say to thee. And he saith, Master, say it.
41 Kinuna ni Hesus, “Adda iti dua nga nakautang iti maysa nga agpapautang. Diay maysa ket nakautang iti limagasut nga dinario, diay met maysa ket limapulo nga dinario.
There was a certain creditor who had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.
42 Gapu ta awan kuartada nga pagbayad, pinakawanna ida nga dua. Ngarud, siasino ti kadakuada iti ad-adda nga mangayat kenkuana?
And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?
43 Simmungbat ni Simon kenkuana ket kinunana, “Panagkunak ket diay ad-adu iti napakawan nga utangna.” Kinuna ni Hesus kenkuana, “Usto dayta a panangikeddengmo.”
Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said to him, Thou hast rightly judged.
44 Sinango ni Hesus ti babai ket kinuna ken Simon, “Makitam daytoy nga babai. Simrekak iti balay mo. Awan danum nga intedmo kaniak para kadagiti sakak, ngem isuna, babaen iti luana, binasana dagiti sakak ken pinunasanna ida iti buokna.
And he turned to the woman, and said to Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thy house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.
45 Dinak impaayan iti agep, ngem isuna, manipud simmangpetak, saan nga nagsardeng nga nangag- agep kadagiti sakak.
Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.
46 Saanmo nga binukbukan daytoy ulok iti lana, ngem binukbukanna dagiti sakak iti bangbanglo.
My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.
47 Gapu iti daytoy, ibagak kenka nga isuna nga adu iti nagbasolanna ken napakawan iti ad-adu ket dakdakkel met ti panagayatna. Ngem iti basbassit iti napakawan kenkuana, bassit laeng iti panagayatna.”
Therefore I say to thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.
48 Ket imbagana iti babai, “Napakawanen dagiti basbasolmo.”
And he said to her, Thy sins are forgiven.
49 Dagiti amin nga agsangsanggir sadiay ket inrugida nga kinuna iti maysa ken maysa kadakuada, “Siasino daytoy nga agpakawan pay kadagiti basbasol?”
And they that were eating with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also?
50 Ket kinuna ni Hesus iti babai, “Ti pammatim ket insalakannaka. Mapanka nga sitatalna”.
And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.
