< Lucas 23 >

1 Timmakder ti sibubukel a bunggoy, ket indatagda ni Hesus iti sangoanan ni Pilato.
And the whole company of them rose up, and brought him before Pilate.
2 Pabpabasolenda isuna, kinunkunada, “Nakitami a mangririribuk daytoy nga tao iti pagilian tayo, mangiparparit nga mangted ti pammadayaw a maipaay ken ni Cesar, ken ibagbagana pay nga isuna ti Kristo, ken maysa nga ari.”
And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this man perverting our nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, and saying that he himself is Christ a king.
3 Nagsaludsod ni Pilato kenkuana, ket kinunana, “Sika kadi ti Ari dagiti Judio?” Ket simmungbat ni Hesus, “Imbagamon.”
And Pilate asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answered him and said, Thou sayest.
4 Nagsao ni Pilato kadagiti panguloen a papadi ken kadagiti adu nga tattao, “Awan iti makitak nga basol daytoy a tao. “
And Pilate said unto the chief priests and the multitudes, I find no fault in this man.
5 Ngem ipilitda latta nga kunada, “Riribukenna dagiti tattao, agisursuro iti intero nga Judea, manipud Galilea ken uray pay iti daytoy a lugar.”
But they were the more urgent, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Judaea, and beginning from Galilee even unto this place.
6 Isunga idi nangngeg daytoy ni Pilato, sinaludsodna no taga-Galilea ti lalaki.
But when Pilate heard it, he asked whether the man were a Galilaean.
7 Ket idi naammoanna nga isuna ket adda iti turay ni Herodes, impatulodna ni Hesus ken ni Herodes, ta isuna ket adda met iti Jerusalem kadagidiay nga al-aldaw.
And when he knew that he was of Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent him unto Herod, who himself also was at Jerusalem in these days.
8 Idi makita ni Herodes ni Hesus, naragsakan isuna, agsipud ta nabayagen a tiempo nga kayatna a makita isuna. Adda nangnangngegnan maipanggep kenkuana ken mangnamnama isuna a makakita kadagiti nakaskasdaaw nga aramidenna.
Now when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceeding glad: for he was of a long time desirous to see him, because he had heard concerning him; and he hoped to see some miracle done by him.
9 Adu dagiti saludsod ni Herodes kenni Hesus, ngem awan a pulos iti insungbatna kenkuana.
And he questioned him in many words; but he answered him nothing.
10 Timmakder dagiti panguloen a papadi ken kasta met dagiti eskriba, ket nakaro unay iti pammabasolda kenkuana.
And the chief priests and the scribes stood, vehemently accusing him.
11 Linais ni Herodes ken dagiti suldadona isuna, ken pinag-gaangaawanda isuna, ket kinawesanda iti napintas a pagan-anay, kalpasanna impatulodda ken ni Pilato.
And Herod with his soldiers set him at nought, and mocked him, and arraying him in gorgeous apparel sent him back to Pilate.
12 Nagbalin nga aggayyem ni Herodes ken ni Pilato iti dayta met laeng nga aldaw (numan pay agkabusor dagitoy idi).
And Herod and Pilate became friends with each other that very day: for before they were at enmity between themselves.
13 Inayaban ni Pilato amin dagiti panguloen dagiti papadi ken dagiti agtuturay ken dagiti tattao,
And Pilate called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people,
14 ket kinunana kadakuada, “Indatagyo kaniak daytoy a tao nga kasla iti tao a mangidadaulo nga agaramid iti dakes, ken kitaenyo, Siak, pinagsaludsodak isuna iti sangoananyo, awan masarakak nga biddut daytoy nga lalaki a maipanggep kadagiti banbanag nga ipabpabasolyo kenkuana.
and said unto them, Ye brought unto me this man, as one that perverteth the people: and behold, I, having examined him before you, found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him:
15 Saan, uray ni Herodes, isu nga insublina isuna kadatayo, ken kitaenyo, awan iti masarakak nga pakaigapuan iti pannakapapatayna.
no, nor yet Herod: for he sent him back unto us; and behold, nothing worthy of death hath been done by him.
16 Ngarud dusaek laeng isuna, ken sakonto palubosan.”
I will therefore chastise him, and release him.
17 Ita, rebbengen ni Pilato nga palubosan ti maysa a balud nga Judio iti aldaw ti fiesta.
18 Ngem sangsangkamaysada nga nagriyaw, a kunkunada, “Ipanawyo daytoy a lalaki, ken palubosanyo ni Barrabas!”
But they cried out all together, saying, Away with this man, and release unto us Barabbas:
19 Naibalud ni Barrabas gapu iti panagsukirna ti linteg iti siudad ken pammapatayna.
one who for a certain insurrection made in the city, and for murder, was cast into prison.
20 Nagsao manen kadakuada ni Pilato, ta tarigagayna nga wayawayaan ni Hesus.
And Pilate spake unto them again, desiring to release Jesus;
21 Ngem nagriyawda a kunkunada, “Ilansa isuna, ilansa isuna.”
but they shouted, saying, Crucify, crucify him.
22 Ket kinunana kadakuada iti maikatlo nga gundaway, “Apay, ania iti dakes a naaramid daytoy nga lalaki? Awan iti masarakak nga rason tapno madusa isuna iti pannakapapatay. Ngarud apaman nga malpas ti pannakadusana, wayawayaakton isuna.”
And he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath this man done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him and release him.
23 Ngem impigpigsada pay ti nagriyaw, ipapilitda nga mailansa isuna iti krus. Ket ti timekda ti nangallukoy ken ni Pilato.
But they were instant with loud voices, asking that he might be crucified. And their voices prevailed.
24 Isu nga ingkeddeng ni Pilato a tungpalenna ti dawdawatenda.
And Pilate gave sentence that what they asked for should be done.
25 Pinalubosanna ti maysa nga naibalud a dinawatda gapu iti panangriribuk ken panangpatayna. Ket intedna ni Hesus kadakuada tapno maaramidda ti kaykayatda.
And he released him that for insurrection and murder had been cast into prison, whom they asked for; but Jesus he delivered up to their will.
26 Iti panangipanawda kenkuana, nasabatda ti maysa a Simon a taga-Cirene, paumay a naggapu idiay bangir a pagilian, ket impabaklayda kenkuana ti krus, sada impasaruno ken ni Hesus.
And when they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon of Cyrene, coming from the country, and laid on him the cross, to bear it after Jesus.
27 Adu a tattao, ken babbai nga agsangsangit ken agdungdnung-aw para kenkuana, ti sumursurot kenkuana.
And there followed him a great multitude of the people, and of women who bewailed and lamented him.
28 Ngem tinalyawna ida, kinuna ni Hesus “An-annak nga babbai ti Jerusalem, saankayo nga agsangit para kaniak, ngem agngitkayo ketdi para iti bagbaggiyo ken para kadagiti annakyo.
But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.
29 Ta kitaenyo, umayto dagiti al-aldaw ket kunaendanto, 'Nagasat dagiti baog ken dagiti aanakan a saan nga nagsikog, ken dagiti saan nga nagpasuso.'
For behold, the days are coming, in which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the breasts that never gave suck.
30 Ket kunaento dagiti tattao kadagiti bambantay, 'Tupakannakamin,' ken uraypay kadagiti turturod, 'Gaburannakamin.'
Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.
31 Ta no aramidenda dagitoy nga banbanag kabayatan nga naganus pay ti kayo, ania iti mapasamak no nagangonton?”
For if they do these things in the green tree, what shall be done in the dry?
32 Adda pay sabali a lallaki, dua nga kriminal, ti maigiddan kenkuana a mapapatay.
And there were also two others, malefactors, led with him to be put to death.
33 Idi makasangpetda iti lugar nga maawagan a Ti Bangabanga, idiayda nga inlansa isuna iti krus ken dagiti kriminal, maysa iti makannawanna ken ti maysa met iti makannigidna.
And when they came unto the place which is called The skull, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand and the other on the left.
34 Kinuna ni Hesus, “Ama, pakawanem ida, ta saanda nga ammu iti ar-aramidenda.” Ken nagbibinnunotda, nagbibingayanda ti pagan-anayna.
And Jesus said, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And parting his garments among them, they cast lots.
35 Sitatakder nga agbuybuya dagiti tattao kabayatan a lalaisen dagiti agtuturay isuna, kunkunada, “Insalakanna ti sabali. Bay-anyo nga isalakanna met ti bagina, no isuna iti Kristo ti Dios, ti napili.”
And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also scoffed at him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if this is the Christ of God, his chosen.
36 Pinagang-angawan pay isuna dagiti suldado, inasetganda isuna, inyawatanda iti suka,
And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, offering him vinegar,
37 ken kunkunada, “No sika ti Ari dagiti Judio, isalakanmo ti bagim.”
and saying, If thou art the King of the Jews, save thyself.
38 Adda pay iti pagilasinan iti ngatoenna a kastoy, “DAYTOY TI ARI DAGITI JUDIO.”
And there was also a superscription over him, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
39 Maysa kadagiti kriminal a nailansa, ti nanglais kenkuana, a kunkunana, “Saan kadi nga sika ti Kristo? Isalakanmo ti bagim ken isalakannakami met.”
And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, Art not thou the Christ? save thyself and us.
40 Ngem simmungbat ti maysa, a panangtubngarna kenkuana a kinunana, “Saanka kadi nga agbuteng iti Dios, ta agpapada iti naikeddeng a dusa tayo?
But the other answered, and rebuking him said, Dost thou not even fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
41 Rebbengna laeng nga agsagabata gapu kadagiti inaramidta. Ngem awan ti madi nga inaramid daytoy nga tao.”
And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.
42 Ken innayonna pay, “Hesus, laglagipennakto inton addaka iti pagariam.”
And he said, Jesus, remember me when thou comest in thy kingdom.
43 Kinuna ni Hesus kenkuana, “Pudno nga ibagak kenka, ita nga aldaw makipagyankanto kaniak idiay paraiso.”
And he said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in Paradise.
44 Umadanin ti maikainnem nga oras, ken immay ti sipnget iti intero nga daga agingga iti maikasiam nga oras nga
And it was now about the sixth hour, and a darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour,
45 saan a naglawag ti init. Ket ti kurtina iti templo, napigis iti tengnga.
the sun’s light failing: and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.
46 Nagsangit ni Hesus iti napigsa, ket kinunana, “Ama, kadagita imam iyawatko ti espirituk.” Apaman nga naibalikasna daytoy, natayen isuna.
And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said this, he gave up the ghost.
47 Idi makita ti kapitan dagiti suldado no ania ti napasamak, nagdaydayaw isuna iti Dios a kunkunana, “Agpayso nga nalinteg daytoy a lalaki.”
And when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.
48 Idi nakita dagiti adu a tattao nga naguummong a mangsaksi iti daytoy nga pasamak a naaramid dagitoy nga banbanag, nagsublida ket dinandanogda iti barukongda.
And all the multitudes that came together to this sight, when they beheld the things that were done, returned smiting their breasts.
49 Ngem amin dagiti am-amona, ken dagiti babbai nga simmurot kenkuana manipud Galilea, ket nakatakder iti saan unay nga adayo, a mangbuybuya kadagitoy nga banbanag.
And all his acquaintance, and the women that followed with him from Galilee, stood afar off, seeing these things.
50 Pagammoan, adda maysa a lalaki nga managan Jose, a kameng iti Sanhedrin, maysa a nalinteg ken nasayaat nga tao
And behold, a man named Joseph, who was a councillor, a good man and a righteous
51 (saan isuna nga immanamong kadagiti tignay ken pangngeddengda), naggapo idiay Arimatea, maysa nga siudad dagiti Judio, nga agur-uray iti iyuumay ti pagarian iti Dios.
(he had not consented to their counsel and deed), [a man] of Arimathaea, a city of the Jews, who was looking for the kingdom of God:
52 Daytoy nga tao, ket napan kenni Pilato, ket nakitungtong nga alaenna ti bagi ni Hesus.
this man went to Pilate, and asked for the body of Jesus.
53 Imbabana daytoy, ken binalkotna iti pino nga lino, ket sana impaidda iti pagitaneman a bato nga saan pay nausar.
And he took it down, and wrapped it in a linen cloth, and laid him in a tomb that was hewn in stone, where never man had yet lain.
54 Aldaw idi ti Panagsagana, ken umadanin ti Aldaw ti Panaginana.
And it was the day of the Preparation, and the sabbath drew on.
55 Dagiti babbai, a sumursurot kenkuana manipud Galilea, a simmaruno kadakuada, ket nakitada ti tanem ken no kasano ti pannakaipaidda ti bagina.
And the women, which had come with him out of Galilee, followed after, and beheld the tomb, and how his body was laid.
56 Nagsublida ket insaganada dagiti bangbanglo ken sapsapo. Ket iti Aldaw ti Panaginana, naginanada kas maiyannurot iti bilbilin.
And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments. And on the sabbath they rested according to the commandment.
