< Lucas 20 >

1 Immay iti maysa nga aldaw, kabayatan nga agisursuro ni Hesus kadagiti tattao nga adda iti templo ken ikaskasabana ti ebanghelio, immay kenkuana dagiti panguloen a papadi ken dagiti eskriba nga kaduada dagiti panglakayen.
On one of those days, as he was teaching the people in the temple and preaching the Good News, the priests and scribes came to him with the elders.
2 Nagsaritada, a kunada kenkuana, “Ibagam kadakami no ania ti kalintegam a mangaramid kadagitoy a banbanag? Wenno siasino ti nangted iti daytoy a kalintegan kenka?”
They asked him, “Tell us: by what authority do you do these things? Or who is giving you this authority?”
3 Simmungbat isuna ket kinunana kadakuada, “Uray siak adda met saludsodko kadakayo. Ibagayo kaniak iti maipapan
He answered them, “I also will ask you one question. Tell me:
4 iti panangbautisar ni Juan. Naggapu kadi sadi langit wenno naggapu iti tattao?”
the baptism of John, was it from heaven, or from men?”
5 Naginnadalda iti tunggal maysa, a kunada, “No ibagatayo nga, 'Naggapu sadi langit,' ibagana nga, 'Apay ngarud a dikayo namati kenkuana?'
They reasoned with themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will say, ‘Why didn’t you believe him?’
6 Ngem no ibagatayo nga, 'Naggapu iti tao,' uborendatayo dagiti tattao, gapu ta naallukoyda a ni Juan ket maysa nga propeta.”
But if we say, ‘From men,’ all the people will stone us, for they are persuaded that John was a prophet.”
7 Isu nga insungbatda a dida ammo ti naggapuanna.
They answered that they didn’t know where it was from.
8 Kinuna ni Hesus kadakuada, “No kasta ngarud saanko met ibaga no naggapuan ti kalintegak nga mangaramid kadagitoy a banbanag.”
Jesus said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.”
9 Imbagana kadagiti tattao daytoy a pangngarig, “Adda maysa a tao a nagmula iti kaubasan, impaupana iti agu-ubas, ket napan iti sabali a pagillian iti nabayag a tiempo.
He began to tell the people this parable: “A man planted a vineyard and rented it out to some farmers, and went into another country for a long time.
10 Iti naituding nga tiempo ket nangibaon isuna iti adipen nga mapan idiay agu-ubas, nga masapul nga itedda kenkuana ti bunga iti kaubasan. Ngem kinabkabilda isuna, ken pinapanawda nga ima-ima.
At the proper season, he sent a servant to the farmers to collect his share of the fruit of the vineyard. But the farmers beat him and sent him away empty.
11 Nangibaon ngarud isuna iti sabali pay nga adipen ket kinabkabilda manen, imbabainda, ken pinapanawda isuna nga ma-ima.
He sent yet another servant, and they also beat him and treated him shamefully, and sent him away empty.
12 Nangibaon manen isuna iti maikatlo pay ngem sinugsugatanda laeng, sadanto impuruak isuna iti ruar.
He sent yet a third, and they also wounded him and threw him out.
13 Isu nga kinuna ti akinkukua iti kaubasan, 'Ania ti aramidek? Ibaonko laengen ti patpatgek nga anak. Nalabit a padayawanda isuna.'
The lord of the vineyard said, ‘What shall I do? I will send my beloved son. It may be that seeing him, they will respect him.’
14 Ngem idi nakita dagiti mangay-aywan ti ubas isuna, nagtutulagda a kunada, 'Daytoy ti agtawid. Papatayentayo isuna, tapno ti tawid ket matagikuatayo.'
“But when the farmers saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.’
15 Impuruakda isuna iti ruar ti kaubasan, ken pinapatayda isuna. Ania ngarud ti aramiden ti akinkukua ti kaubasan kadakuada?
Then they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do to them?
16 Umay ket pirdienna dagitoy nga mangay-aywan iti ubas, ken ited ti kaubasan iti sabali.”Ket idi nangngegda dayta, kinunada.”Saan nga ipalubos ti Dios!”
He will come and destroy these farmers, and will give the vineyard to others.” When they heard that, they said, “May that never be!”
17 Ngem ni Hesus kinitana ida, a kinunana, “Ania ti kayat a sawen daytoy nasantoan nga surat? 'Ti bato nga imbelleng dagiti nagpatakder iti balay ket nagbalin a pasuli'?
But he looked at them and said, “Then what is this that is written, ‘The stone which the builders rejected was made the chief cornerstone’?
18 Siasinoman a matinnag iti dayta a bato ket maburak, ngem siasinoman a pakaitupakanna, ket marumek.”
Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces, but it will crush whomever it falls on to dust.”
19 Isu nga dagiti eskriba ken dagiti panguloen a papadi ket nagsiim tapno tiliwenda isuna iti dayta nga oras, ta ammoda nga imbagana daytoy a pangngarig a maisupiat kadakuada. Ngem nagbutengda kadagiti tattao.
The chief priests and the scribes sought to lay hands on him that very hour, but they feared the people—for they knew he had spoken this parable against them.
20 Pinaliiwda isuna a naimbag, nangibaonda iti tattao nga agsiim nga nagpammarang a nalinteg, tapno makabirokda ti kammalina babaen iti panagsaona, nga panggapuanda kenkuana a mangiyawat iti pannangituray ken paglintegan iti gobernador.
They watched him and sent out spies, who pretended to be righteous, that they might trap him in something he said, so as to deliver him up to the power and authority of the governor.
21 Nagdamagda kenkuana a kunada, “Maestro, ammomi nga ti ibagbaga ken isursurom ket husto, ken dika agpaimpluwensiya iti siasinoman, ngem isurom ti pudno maipanggep ti wagas ti Dios.
They asked him, “Teacher, we know that you say and teach what is right, and aren’t partial to anyone, but truly teach the way of God.
22 Nainkalintegan kadi nga agbayadkam ti buis ken ni Cesar, wenno saan?”
Is it lawful for us to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?”
23 Ngem naawatan ni Hesus ti kinatusoda, ket kinunana kadakuada,
But he perceived their craftiness, and said to them, “Why do you test me?
24 “Mangiparangkayo kaniak iti denario. Siasino ti akin ladawan ken akinnagan iti daytoy?” “Ni Cesar,” insungbatda.
Show me a denarius. Whose image and inscription are on it?” They answered, “Caesar’s.”
25 Kinunana kadakuada, “Itedyo ken ni Cesar dagiti banag a kukua ni Cesar, ken iti Dios, dagiti banag a kukua ti Dios.”
He said to them, “Then give to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”
26 Dagiti eskriba ken dagiti panguloen a papadi ket awan nabalinanda nga nangdillaw iti imbagana iti sangoanan dagiti tattao. Nasdaawda iti insungbatna ket awan ti imbagada.
They weren’t able to trap him in his words before the people. They marveled at his answer and were silent.
27 Immasideg kenkuana dagiti sumagmamano nga Saduseo, isuda dagiti mangibagbaga nga awan ti panagungar,
Some of the Sadducees came to him, those who deny that there is a resurrection.
28 ket dinamagda kenkuana, a kunada, “Maestro, insurat ni Moses kadatayo a no ti maysa a lalaki ket natay ti kabsatna a lalaki, ket addaan asawa, ngem awanan anak, nasken nga asawaen ti lalaki ti asawa iti kabsatna tapno aganakda a pannaka-anak ti kabsatna a lalaki.
They asked him, “Teacher, Moses wrote to us that if a man’s brother dies having a wife, and he is childless, his brother should take the wife and raise up children for his brother.
29 Adda pito nga lallaki nga agkakabsat, diay inauna ket nangasawa ngem natay nga awan putotna,
There were therefore seven brothers. The first took a wife, and died childless.
30 kasta met ti maikadua.
The second took her as wife, and he died childless.
31 Ti maikatlo innalana isuna, ket kasta metlaeng nga dagiti pito ket awan ti inbatida nga annak, ket natay.
The third took her, and likewise the seven all left no children, and died.
32 Saan nga nagbayag ket natay diay babai.
Afterward the woman also died.
33 Inton panagungar, siasino ti akin asawa kenkuana? Ta aminda nga pito ket nagbalinda nga asawana.”
Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them will she be? For the seven had her as a wife.”
34 Kinuna ni Hesus kadakuada, “Dagiti annak ditoy lubong ket agaassawa, ken maitedda a maasawa. (aiōn g165)
Jesus said to them, “The children of this age marry and are given in marriage. (aiōn g165)
35 Ngem dagiti naukom nga maikari nga mangawat iti panagungar manipud patay a sumrek iti agnanayon ket saanen nga agasawa, wenno maited a maasawa. (aiōn g165)
But those who are considered worthy to attain to that age and the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage. (aiōn g165)
36 Ket saandan nga matay, gapu ta kasda la kadagiti anghel ken kadagiti an-annak ti Dios, nagbalinda nga annak ti panagungar.
For they can’t die any more, for they are like the angels and are children of God, being children of the resurrection.
37 Ngem gapu ta dagiti natay ket mapagungar, uray ni Moses ket impakitana, iti lugar maipapan iti bassit a kayo, no sadino nga inawaganna ni Apo nga Dios ni Abraham ken Dios ni Isaac ken Dios ni Jacob.
But that the dead are raised, even Moses showed at the bush, when he called the Lord ‘The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’
38 Isuna ita ket saan nga Dios dagiti natay ngem Dios dagiti sibibiag. Gapu ta sibibiag amin kenkuana.”
Now he is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for all are alive to him.”
39 Simmungbat dagiti dadduma nga eskriba, “Maestro, nasayaat unay ti sungbatmo.”
Some of the scribes answered, “Teacher, you speak well.”
40 Ta saandan a maitured ti agdamag kenkuana iti dadduma pay a salsaludsod.
They didn’t dare to ask him any more questions.
41 Kinuna ni Hesus kadakuada, “Kasano nga naibagada a ti Kristo ket anak ni David?
He said to them, “Why do they say that the Christ is David’s son?
42 Ta ni David nga mismo ket imbagana iti libro dagiti Salmo, Kinuna ti Apo iti Apok, 'Agtugawka iti makannawanko,
David himself says in the book of Psalms, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand,
43 aginggana a mapagbalinko ti kabusormo a pagbatayan ti sakam.'
until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet.”’
44 Inawagan ngarud ni David ni Kristo nga 'Apo', kasano ngarud nga nagbalin isuna nga anak ni David?”
“David therefore calls him Lord, so how is he his son?”
45 Iti panagdengngeg dagiti amin nga tattao kinunana kadagiti adalanna,
In the hearing of all the people, he said to his disciples,
46 “Agalwadkayo kadagiti eskriba, nga pagaayatda ti agbadbado iti atiddug nga pagan-anay, ken pagaayatda ti madaydayaw iti kaaduan ti tattao, ken kangatoan a tugtugaw iti sinagoga, ken kangatoan nga lugar iti piesta.
“Beware of those scribes who like to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the marketplaces, the best seats in the synagogues, and the best places at feasts;
47 Gamgamenda dagiti babbalay dagiti balo, ken agpampammarangda nga atiddog ti kararagda. Dagitoy ket umawat iti nadagdagsen a pannusa.”
who devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. These will receive greater condemnation.”
