1 Adda ti maysa a lalaki idiay katurturodan a pagilian ti Efraim, ken ti naganna ket Mica.
And there was a man of mount Ephraim, whose name [was] Micah.
2 Kinunana iti inana, “Dagiti 1, 100 a pidaso ti pirak a naala idi kenka, a nagsaoam iti lunod a nangngegko—adtoy kitaem! Adda kaniak ti pirak. Tinakawko daytoy.” Kinuna ti inana, “Bendisionannaka koma ni Yahweh, anakko!”
And he said unto his mother, The eleven hundred [shekels] of silver that were taken from thee, about which thou cursedst, and spakest of also in mine ears, behold, the silver [is] with me; I took it. And his mother said, Blessed [be thou] of the LORD, my son.
3 Insublina ti 1, 100 a pidaso ti pirak iti inana ket kinuna ti inana, “Inlasinko daytoy a pirak para kenni Yahweh, a maipaay iti anakko a mangaramid iti ladawan a kayo a kinitikitan ken sinukog a landok a ladawan. Ita ngarud, isublik daytoy kenka.”
And when he had restored the eleven hundred [shekels] of silver to his mother, his mother said, I had wholly dedicated the silver unto the LORD from my hand for my son, to make a graven image and a molten image: now therefore I will restore it unto thee.
4 Idi insublina ti kuarta iti inana, nangala ti inana iti dua gasut a pidaso ti pirak ket intedna dagitoy iti agpanpanday a nangaramid kadagitoy iti ladawan a kayo a kinitikitan ken sinukog a landok a ladawan. Naikabil daytoy iti balay ni Mica.
Yet he restored the money unto his mother; and his mother took two hundred [shekels] of silver, and gave them to the founder, who made thereof a graven image and a molten image: and they were in the house of Micah.
5 Ti lalaki a ni Mica ket addaan iti maysa a balay dagiti didiosen ken nangaramid isuna iti maysa nga efod ken didiosen iti bumalay, ket indatonna ti maysa kadagiti putotna a lallaki nga agbalin a padina.
And the man Micah had an house of gods, and made an ephod, and teraphim, and consecrated one of his sons, who became his priest.
6 Awan ti ari iti Israel kadagidiay nga al-aldaw, ket inaramid idi iti tunggal maysa ti pagarupda nga umno kadagiti bukodna a panagkita.
In those days [there was] no king in Israel, [but] every man did [that which was] right in his own eyes.
7 Ita, adda ti maysa nga agtutubo iti Betlehem idiay Juda, iti pamilia ni Juda, a maysa a Levita. Nagnaed isuna idiay tapno tungpalenna ti pagrebbenganna.
And there was a young man out of Beth-lehem-judah of the family of Judah, who [was] a Levite, and he sojourned there.
8 Pinanawan ti lalaki ti Betlehem idiay Juda tapno mapan agsapul iti lugar a pagnaedanna. Kabayatan iti panagdaliasatna, dimteng isuna iti balay ni Mica idiay katurturodan a pagilian ti Efraim.
And the man departed out of the city from Beth-lehem-judah to sojourn where he could find [a place: ] and he came to mount Ephraim to the house of Micah, as he journeyed.
9 Kinuna ni Mica kenkuana, “Sadino ti nagappuam?” Kinuna ti lalaki kenkuana, “Maysaak a Levita iti Betlehem idiay Juda, ket agdaldaliasatak tapno agsapul iti lugar a mabalin a pagnaedak.”
And Micah said unto him, Whence comest thou? And he said unto him, I [am] a Levite of Beth-lehem-judah, and I go to sojourn where I may find [a place].
10 Kinuna ni Mica kenkuana, “Makipagnaedka kaniak ket agbalinka a mammagbaga ken padik. Ikkanka iti sangapulo a pidaso ti pirak iti makatawen, kawes, ken taraonmo.” Napan ngarud ti Levita iti balayna.
And Micah said unto him, Dwell with me, and be unto me a father and a priest, and I will give thee ten [shekels] of silver by the year, and a suit of apparel, and thy victuals. So the Levite went in.
11 Napnek a nakipagnaed ti Levita iti lalaki, ket nagbalin ti agtutubo a kasla maysa kadagiti putot a lalaki ni Mica.
And the Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young man was unto him as one of his sons.
12 Inlasin ni Mica ti Levita nga agpaay kadagiti nasantoan a pagrebbengan, ket nagbalin a padina ti agtutubo, ket adda isuna iti balay ni Mica.
And Micah consecrated the Levite; and the young man became his priest, and was in the house of Micah.
13 Ket kinuna ni Mica, “Ita ammok nga agaramid ni Yahweh iti naimbag kaniak, gapu ta nagbalin a padik daytoy a Levita.”
Then said Micah, Now know I that the LORD will do me good, seeing I have a Levite to [my] priest.
