< Isaias 46 >

1 Agrukrukbab ni Bel, agdumdumog ni Nebo; aw-awiten dagiti ayup dagiti didiosenda. Dagitoy a didiosen nga aw-awitenda ket padagsen kadagiti nabannog nga ayup.
Bel bows down. Nebo stoops. Their idols are carried by animals, and on the livestock. The things that you carried around are heavy loads, a burden for the weary.
2 Agrukob ken agparintumengda a sangsangkamaysa; saanda a maispal dagiti imahen, ken uray isuda a mismo ket maitalaw.
They stoop and they bow down together. They could not deliver the burden, but they have gone into captivity.
3 Dumngegka kaniak, balay ti Jacob, ken dakayo amin, a nabatbati iti balay ni Jacob, nga inay-aywanak sakbay pay a naipasngaykayo, naisikug iti aanakan:
“Sh'ma ·Hear obey· me, house of Jacob [Supplanter], and all the remnant of the house of Israel [God prevails], that have been carried from their birth, that have been carried from the racham ·womb, bowels of compassion·.
4 Uray inton lumakaykayo, siak latta, ken uray no aguban dagiti bubuokyo aywanankayto. Pinarsuakayo, ken ipaayko dagiti kasapulanyo, itundakayo iti pakatalgedanyo.
Even to old age I am he, and even to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear. Yes, I will carry, and will deliver.
5 Siasino ti pangidiliganyo kaniak? Ken siasino ti kaas-aspingko, tapno mapagdinniligdakami?
“To whom will you liken me, and consider my equal, and compare me, that we may be equal?
6 Iburburais dagiti tattao ti balitok manipud iti pagkargaan ken mangtimbangda iti pirak. Mangtangdangda iti mammanday, ket aramidenna daytoy a didiosen; agruknoyda ken agdayawda iti daytoy.
Some pour out gold from the bag, and weigh silver in the balance. They hire a goldsmith, and he makes it a deity. They fall down— yes, they worship.
7 Ibaklayda daytoy; ikabilda iti lugar a pakaisaadanna, ket nakatakder latta daytoy iti disso a nakaikabilanna ken saan nga umakar daytoy manipud iti ayanna. Agasugda iti daytoy, ngem saan a makasungbat wenno makaisalakan iti siasinoman a mariribukan.
They bear it on their shoulder. They carry it, and set it in its place, and it stands there. It cannot move from its place. Yes, one may cry to it, yet it cannot answer. It cannot save him out of his trouble.
8 Amirisenyo dagitoy a banbanag; saanyo nga iyaleng-aleng dagitoy, dakayo a managsukir!
“Remember this, and show yourselves men. Bring it to mind again, you transgressors.
9 Amirisenyo dagiti immuna a banbanag, dagiti napalabas, ta siak ti Dios, ket awan sabali pay, Siak ti Dios, ket awan ti kas kaniak.
Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is no other. I am God, and there is none like me.
10 Impakpakaammok ti panungpalan manipud idi punganay, ken imbagbagak ti saan pay a napasamak; kunak, “Mapasamakto dagiti panggepko, ken aramidek ti tarigagayko.”
I declare the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done. I say: My counsel will stand, and I will do all that I please.
11 Awagak ti tumatayab a tiltiliwen dagiti ayup manipud iti daya, ti tao a napilik manipud iti adayo a daga; wen, nasaokon; ipatungpalko met daytoy; adda panggepko, aramidek met daytoy.
I call a ravenous bird from the east, the man of my counsel from a far country. Yes, I have spoken. I will also bring it to pass. I have planned. I will also do it.
12 Dumngegkayo kaniak, dakayo a nasukir a tattao, dakayo a saan a mangar-aramid iti nalinteg.
Sh'ma ·Hear obey· me, you stubborn-hearted, who are far from righteousness!
13 Iyasidegko ti kinalintegko; saan nga adayo daytoy, ken saan nga aguray ti panangisalakanko; ket ipaayko ti pannakaisalakan iti Sion ken ti kinapintasko iti Israel.
I bring my righteousness near. It is not far off, and my salvation will not wait. I will grant salvation to Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking], my glory to Israel [God prevails].
