< Hebreo 5 >

1 Ta ti tunggal kangatoan a padi, a napili manipud kadagiti tattao, ket nadutokan nga agtignay a mangibagbagi kadakuada kadagiti banbanag a mainaig iti Dios, tapno mangidiaya kadagiti sagut ken daton para kadagiti basbasol.
For every high priest, being taken from among people, is appointed for people in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins.
2 Kabaelanna ti makilangenlangen a siaalumamay kadagiti nakuneng ken ti saan a maiturayan agsipud ta isuna mismo met ket napalikmutan iti kinakapuy.
The high priest can deal gently with those who are ignorant and going astray, because he himself is also surrounded with weakness.
3 Gapu iti daytoy, adda met rebbengna a mangidatag kadagiti daton para kadagiti basolna kas iti ar-aramidenna para kadagiti basol dagiti tattao.
Because of this, he must offer sacrifices for sins for the people, as well as for himself.
4 Ken awan ti tao a mangala iti daytoy a dayaw para iti bagbagina, ngem ketdi, masapul nga inayaban isuna ti Dios, kas iti pannakaayab ni Aaron.
Nobody takes this honor on himself, but he is called by God, just like Aaron was.
5 Saan met nga intan-ok ni Cristo ti bagbagina iti panagbalinna a padi. Ngem ketdi, kinuna ti Dios kenkuana, “Sika ti Anakko, ita nga aldaw nagbalinak nga Amam.”
So also Christ did not glorify himself to be made a high priest, but it was he who said to him, "You are my Son. Today I have become your Father."
6 Daytoy ket kas met laeng iti ibagbagana iti sabali a paset, “Padika nga agnanayon a kas iti kinapadi ni Melkisedec.” (aiōn g165)
As he says also in another place, "You are a priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek." (aiōn g165)
7 Bayat iti nainlasagan a tiempona, nangidaton isuna kadagiti kararag ken kiddaw, nga agluluwa nga umas-asug iti Dios, ti makaisalakan kenkuana manipud patay. Gapu iti panagraemna iti Dios, naipangag isuna.
In the days of his flesh, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence.
8 Uray no Anak isuna, naadalna ti panagtulnog kadagiti banbanag a sinagabana.
Although he was a Son, he learned obedience by the things which he suffered.
9 Napaan-anay isuna ken iti kastoy a wagas, nagbalin isuna a pakaisalakanan nga agnanayon dagiti amin nga agtultulnog kenkuana, (aiōnios g166)
Having been made perfect, he became to all of those who obey him the author of everlasting salvation, (aiōnios g166)
10 dinutokan isuna ti Dios nga agbalin a kangatoan a padi a kas iti kinapadi ni Melkisedek.
named by God a high priest after the order of Melchizedek.
11 Adu pay ti kayatmi nga ibaga maipanggep kenni Jesus, ngem narigat nga ipalawag agsipud ta nangudel ti panagdengngegyo.
About him we have many words to say, and hard to interpret, seeing you have become dull of hearing.
12 No pay mangisursurokayo koman kadagitoy a tiempo, nasisita pay laeng nga adda mangisuro kadakayo kadagiti nasken a sursuroenyo maipanggep iti sasao ti Dios. Masapulyo ti gatas, saan a natangken a taraon.
For when by reason of the time you ought to be teachers, you again need to have someone teach you the rudiments of the first principles of the oracles of God. You have come to need milk, not solid food.
13 Ta ti siasinoman a makainom laeng iti gatas ket awan kapadasanna iti mensahe iti kinalinteg, ta maladaga pay laeng isuna.
For everyone who lives on milk is not experienced in the word of righteousness, for he is a baby.
14 Maysa pay, ti natangken a taraon ket para kadagiti nataengan, dagiti nasuroan a mangilasin iti nasayaat ken dakes gapu iti kapadasanda a mangammo iti naimbag ken dakes.
But solid food is for those who are full grown, who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil.
