< Genesis 43 >

1 Nakaro ti panagbisin iti daga.
And the derth waxed sore in the lande.
2 Napasamak nga idi nakandan ti bukbukel nga insangpetda manipud idiay Egipto, ket kinuna ti amada kadakuada, “Mapankayo manen; gumatangkayo iti taraontayo.”
And when they had eate vp that corne which they brought out of the lande of Egipte their father sayde vnto them: goo agayne and by vs a litle food.
3 Imbaga ni Juda kenkuana, “Nainget iti panangballaag kadakami ti lalaki, 'Saanyonto a makita ti rupak malaksid no kaduayo ti kabsatyo.'
Than sayde Iuda vnto him: the man dyd testifie vnto vs saynge: loke that ye see not my face excepte youre brother be with you.
4 No paikuyogmo kadakami ti kabsatmi, sumalogkami ket igatangandaka iti taraon.
Therfore yf thou wilt sende oure brother with vs we wyll goo and bye the food.
5 Ngem no saanmo a kayat nga isurotmi isuna, saankami a sumalog. Ta imbaga ti lalaki kadakami, “Saanyonto a makita ti rupak malaksid no kaduayo ti kabsatyo.”'
But yf thou wylt not sende him we wyll not goo: for the man sayde vnto vs: loke that ye see not my face excepte youre brother be with you.
6 Kinuna ni Israel, “Apay a pinagaramidandak iti saan a nasayaat babaen iti panangibagayo iti lalaki nga adda pay sabali a kabsatyo?
And Israell sayde: wherfore delt ye so cruelly with me as to tell the man that ye had yet another brother?
7 Kinunada, “Nagsaludsod ti lalaki maipanggep kadakami ken iti pamiliatayo. Kinunana, 'Sibibiag pay kadi ti Amayo? Adda pay kadi sabali a kabsatyo?' Sinungbatanmi isuna segun kadagitoy a salsaludsod. Ammomi aya ngarud met nga ibagana nga, 'Itugotyo ditoy ti kabsatyo?'”
And they sayde: The man asked vs of oure kynred saynge: is youre father yet alyue? haue ye not another brother? And we tolde him acordynge to these wordes. How cowd we knowe that he wolde byd vs brynge oure brother downe with vs?
8 Kinuna ni Juda kenni Israel nga amana, “Italekmo kaniak ti ubing. Agrubbuatkamin a mapan tapno agbiagtayo a saan ket a matay, datayo, sika ken kasta met dagiti annaktayo.
Than sayde Iuda vnto Israell his father: Send the lad with me and we wyll ryse and goo that we maye lyue and not dye: both we thou and also oure childern.
9 Siak ti makaammo kenkuana. No saanko isuna a maisubli kenka ken maidatag iti sangoanam, uray siak lattan ti mangawit iti pammabasol iti agnanayon.
I wilbe suertie for him and of my handes requyre him. Yf I brynge him not to the and sett him before thine eyes than let me bere the blame for euer.
10 Ta no saankami koma a nataktak, awan dua-dua a kapaminduami koman ita a nagsubli ditoy.
For except we had made this tarieg: by this we had bene there twyse and come agayne.
11 Kinuna ti amada a ni Israel kadakuada, “No kasta ngarud, ita, kastoy ti aramidenyo.” Mangalakayo kadagiti kasayaatan a napataud iti daga ket ikabilyo kadagiti sakoyo. Mangitugotkayo iti sagut para iti lalaki: sangkabassit a resina ken diro, kadagiti rekado ken mira, piniones ken almendras.
Than their father Israel sayde vnto the Yf it must nedes be so now: than do thus take of the best frutes of the lande in youre vesselles and brynge the man a present a curtesie bawlme and a curtesie of hony spyces and myrre dates and almondes.
12 Paminduaenyo ti gatad ti kuarta nga itugotyo. Itugotyo manen ti kuarta a naisubli kadagiti sakoyo. Nalabit a biddut laeng daytoy.
And take as moch money more with you. And the money that was brought agayne in youre sackes take it agayne with you in youre handes peraduenture it was some ouersyghte.
13 Isurotyo pay ti kabsatyo. Agrubbuatkayo ket mapankayo manen iti lalaki.
Take also youre brother with you and aryse and goo agayne to the man.
14 Sapay koma ta ited ti Dios a Mannakabalin amin ti asi kadakayo iti sangoanan ti Lalaki, tapno wayawyaanna kadakayo ti sabali pay a kabsatyo ken kasta met ni Benjamin. No mapukawko dagiti annakko. Mapukawanak ngarud.”
And God almightie geue you mercie in the sighte of the man and send you youre other brother and also Be Iamin and I wilbe as a ma robbed of his childern.
15 Innala dagiti lallaki dayta a sagut. Nangalada iti mamindua a kaadu ti kuartada ken insurotda ni Benjamin. Nagrubbuatda, simmalogda idiay Egipto, ket dimmatagda iti sangoanan ni Jose.
Thus toke they the present and twise so moch more money with them and Ben Iamin. And rose vp went downe to Egipte and presented them selfe to Ioseph.
16 Idi nakita ni Jose a kaduada ni Benjamin, kinunana iti agay-aywan iti balayna, “Ikuyogmo dagiti lallaki idiay balay, mangpartika iti ayup ket isaganam daytoy, ta makipangan kaniak dagiti lallaki iti pangaldaw.”
When Ioseph sawe Ben Iamin with them he sayde to the ruelar of his house: brynge these men home and sley and make redie: for they shall dyne with me at none.
17 Inaramid ngarud ti mangay-aywan ti imbaga ni Jose. Impanna ngarud dagiti lallaki iti balay ni Jose.
And the man dyd as Ioseph bad and brought them in to Iosephs house.
18 Nagbuteng dagiti lallaki gapu ta naipanda iti balay ni Jose. Kinunada, “Gapu daytoy iti kuarta a naisubli kadagiti sakotayo idi immuna nga immaytayo, tapno mangbirok isuna iti gundaway a maibusor kadatayo. Mabalin a tiliwennatayo ken pagbalinennatayo a tagabu, ken alaenna dagiti asnotayo.”
When they were brought to Iosephs house they were afrayde ad sayde: be cause of the money yt came in oure sackes mouthes at the first tyme are we brought to pyke a quarell with vs and to laye some thinge to oure charge: to brynge us in bondage and oure asses also.
19 Immasidegda iti mangay-aywan iti balay ni Jose, ket kinatungtongda isuna iti ruangan ti balay,
Therfore came they to the man that was the ruelar ouer Iosephs house and comened with him at the doore
20 a kunada, “Apo, simmalogkami idi damdamo tapno gumatang iti makan.
and sayde: Sir we came hither at the first tyme to bye foode
21 Ket napasamak nga idi nakadanonkami iti disso a paginanaan ket linuktanmi dagiti sakomi, ket, nakitami nga adda ti kuarta ti tunggal maysa iti ngarab iti sakona, awan iti naksay iti kuartami. Intugotmi daytoy.
and as we came to an Inne and opened oure sackes: beholde euery mannes money was in his sacke with full weghte: But we haue broght it agene with us
22 Nangitugotkami pay iti sabali a kuarta a paggatangmi iti taraon. Saanmi nga ammo no siasino iti nangikabil iti kuartami kadagiti sakomi.”
and other mony haue we brought also in oure handes to bye foode but we can not tell who put oure money in oure sackes.
23 Kinuna ti mangay-aywan, “Kapia koma iti maadda kadakayo, saankayo nga agbuteng. Ti Diosyo ken ti Dios ti amayo siguro ti nangikabil iti kuarta kadagiti sakoyo. Naawatko dagiti kuartayo.” Impan ngarud ti mangay-aywan ni Simeon kadakuada.
And he sayde: be of good chere feare not: Youre God and the God of youre fathers hath put you that treasure in youre sackes for I had youre money. And he brought Simeon out to them
24 Pinastrek ti mangay-aywan dagiti lallaki iti uneg ti balay ni Jose, “Inikkanna ida iti danum, ket binuggoanda dagiti saksakada. Inikkanna iti makan dagiti asnoda.
ad led the into Iosephs house and gaue the water to washe their fete and gaue their asses prauender:
25 Insaganada dagiti sagut a maipaay iti isasangpet ni Jose iti aldaw, ta nangngegda a manganda sadiay
And they made redie their present agaynst Ioseph came at none for they herde saye that they shulde dyne there.
26 Idi simmangpet ni Jose iti balayna, intugotda dagiti sagut nga adda kadakuada iti balay, ken nagrukobda iti daga iti sangoananna.
When Ioseph came home they brought the present in to the house to him which they had in their handes ad fell flat on the grounde befor him.
27 Dinamagna ti kasasaadda a kinunana, “Nasalun-at kadi ti amayo, ti lakay nga ibagbagayo? Sibibiag pay kadi isuna?”
And he welcomed the curteously sainge: is youre father that old man which ye tolde me of in good health? and is he yet alyue?
28 Kinunada, “Nasalun-at ti amami nga adipenmo. Sibibiag pay isuna.” Nagparintumeng ken nagdumogda.
they answered: thy servaunte oure father is in good health ad is yet alyue. And they bowed them selues and fell to the grounde.
29 Timmangad isuna ket nakitana ni Benjamin a kabsatna, ti anak ti inana, kinunana,” Daytoy kadi iti inaudi a kabsatyo nga ibagbagayo kaniak?” Kinunana, “Paraburannaka koma ti Dios, anakko.”
And he lyfte vp his eyes and behelde his brother Ben Iamin his mothers sonne and sayde: is this youre yongest brother of whome ye sayde vnto me? And sayde: God be mercyfull vnto ye my sonne.
30 Nagdardaras a rimmuar ni Jose iti siled ta kasta unay a natignay isuna maipanggep iti kabsatna. Nangsapul isuna iti lugar a pagsangitanna. Napan isuna iti siledna ket nagsangit sadiay.
And Ioseph made hast (for his hert dyd melt apon his brother) and soughte for to wepe and entred in to his chambre for to wepe there.
31 Nagdiram-us isuna sa rimmuar. Tinengngelna ti riknana, kinunana, “Idasaryo ti taraon.”
And he wasshed his face and came out and refrayned himselfe and bad sett bread on the table
32 Nagserbian dagiti adipen ni Jose nga is-isuna ken dagiti agkakabsat nga is-isuda. Nakipangan dagiti Egipcio sadiay nga is-isuda laeng gapu ta saan a mabalin a makipangan dagiti Egipcio iti tinapay kadagiti Hebreo, ta makarimon dayta kadagiti Egipcio.
And they prepared for him by himselfe and for them by them selues and for the Egiptians which ate with him by them selues because the Egyptians may not eate bread with the Hebrues for that is an abhomynacyon vnto the Egiptians.
33 Nagtugaw dagiti agkakabsat iti sangoananna, ti inauna segun iti pannakaiyanakna, ken iti inaudi segun iti kinaubingna. Nasdaaw dagiti lallaki.
And they satt before him: the eldest acordynge vnto his age and the yongest acordyng vnto his youth. And the men marveled amonge them selves.
34 Nangted ni Jose iti taraon nga adda iti sangoananna. Ngem iti paset ni Benjamin ket maminlima ti kaaduna ngem iti naited kadagiti kakabsatna. Naginomda ken nakipagragsakda kenkuana.
And they broughte rewardes vnto them from before him: but Ben Iamins parte was fyue tymes so moch as any of theirs. And they ate and they dronke and were dronke wyth him.
