< Ezekiel 2 >

1 Kinuna ti timek kaniak, “Anak ti tao, tumakderka; ket kasaritaka.”
“Son of man,” He said to me, “stand up on your feet and I will speak to you.”
2 Ket imbangonnak ti Espiritu ket pinatakdernak, ket nangegko a makisarsarita isuna kaniak.
And as He spoke to me, the Spirit entered me and set me on my feet, and I heard Him speaking to me.
3 Kinunana kaniak, “Anak ti tao, ibaonka kadagiti tattao ti Israel, kadagiti nasukir a nasion a nagsukir kaniak—isuda ken dagiti kapuonanda ket nagbasol kaniak agingga kadagitoy nga aldaw!
“Son of man,” He said to me, “I am sending you to the Israelites, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against Me. To this very day they and their fathers have rebelled against Me.
4 Makita ti kinatangsit kadagiti rupa dagiti kaputotanda ken natangken ti uloda. Ibaonka kadakuada. Ket ibagamto kadakuada, 'Kastoy ti kuna ti Apo a ni Yahweh.'
They are obstinate and stubborn children. I am sending you to them, and you are to say to them, ‘This is what the Lord GOD says.’
5 Dumngegda man wenno saan. Nasukirda a balay, ngem uray no kasta ket maammoandanto nga adda profeta nga immay kadakuada.
And whether they listen or refuse to listen—for they are a rebellious house—they will know that a prophet has been among them.
6 Ket sika, anak ti tao, saanka nga agbuteng kadakuada wenno kadagiti sasaoda. Saanka nga agbuteng, uray no kasla addaka kadagiti kasisiitan ken uray no kasla makipagnanaedka kadagiti manggagama. Saanka nga agbuteng kadagiti sasaoda wenno maupay iti rupada, agsipud ta nasukirda a balay.
But you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words. Do not be afraid, though briers and thorns surround you, and you dwell among scorpions. Do not be afraid of their words or dismayed by their presence, though they are a rebellious house.
7 Ngem ibagamto kadakuada dagiti sasaok, dumngegda man wenno saan, gapu ta isuda dagiti kasusukiran.
But speak My words to them, whether they listen or refuse to listen, for they are rebellious.
8 Ngem sika, anak ti tao, dumngegka iti ibagbagak kenka. Saanka nga agbalin a nasukir a kas iti dayta a balay. Agngangaka ket kanem ti itedko kenka!”
And you, son of man, listen to what I tell you. Do not be rebellious like that rebellious house. Open your mouth and eat what I give you.”
9 Ket kimmitaak, ket maysa nga ima ti naiyunnat kaniak; adda iggem daytoy a nalukot a pagbasaan.
Then I looked and saw a hand reaching out to me, and in it was a scroll,
10 Inukradna daytoy iti sangoanak; nasuratan ti agsumbangirna, ket pasig a dungdung-aw, ladladingit, ken as-asug ti naisurat iti daytoy.
which He unrolled before me. And written on the front and back of it were words of lamentation, mourning, and woe.
