< Dagiti Aramid 2 >

1 Idi dimteng ti aldaw ti Pentecostes, naummongda amin iti isu met laeng a lugar.
When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.
2 Kellaat nga adda immay manipud langit nga ungor a kasla daranudor iti napigsa nga angin, ket pinunnona ti entero a balay nga ayanda.
Suddenly a sound like a mighty rushing wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.
3 Adda nagparang kadakuada a sinan-dila nga apuy a naiwaras, ket nagdisso iti tunggal maysa kadakuada.
They saw tongues like flames of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.
4 Napnoanda amin iti Espiritu Santo ket nangrugida nga agsao iti sabali a pagsasao, kas inted ti Espiritu Santo kadakuada nga isaoda.
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
5 Ita, adda dagiti Judio nga agnanaed idiay Jerusalem, dagiti nadiosan a lallaki, manipud iti tunggal pagilian iti sirok ti langit.
Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven.
6 Idi nangngegda daytoy nga ungor, naummong dagiti nakaad-adu a tattao ken nariribukanda gapu ta nangngeg ti tunggal maysa ti bukodna a pagsasao nga insao dagiti napnoan iti Espiritu Santo.
And when this sound rang out, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard them speaking his own language.
7 Nagsiddaawda ken nakigtotda; kinunada, “Agpayso, saan kadi nga amin dagitoy nga agsasao ket taga-Galilea?”
Astounded and amazed, they asked, “Are not all these men who are speaking Galileans?
8 Apay a mangmanggegtayo ida nga agsasao kadagiti bukodtayo a pagsasao sipud idi naiyanaktayo?
How is it then that each of us hears them in his own native language?
9 Dagiti pagsasao dagiti taga-Partia, ken Medes ken Elam, ken kadagiti agnanaed idiay Mesopotamia,
Parthians, Medes, and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,
10 idiay Judea ken Capadocia, idiay Pontus ken Asia, idiay Frigia ken Pamfilia, idiay Ehipto ken dagiti paset ti Libya nga asideg iti Cirene, ken dagiti sangaili manipud Roma,
Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome,
11 dagiti Judio ken Hentil, dagiti taga Creta ken Arabia, mangmangngegtayo nga isasaoda kadagiti pagsasaotayo ti maipanggep kadagiti naindaklan nga aramid ti Dios.”
both Jews and converts to Judaism; Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!”
12 Nagsiddaawda amin ken nariribukan; kinunada iti maysa ken maysa, “Ania ti kayat a sawen daytoy?”
Astounded and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?”
13 Ngem nanglais dagiti dadduma a kinunada, “Napnoanda ketdi a iti baro nga arak.”
But others mocked them and said, “They are drunk on new wine!”
14 Ngem timmakder ni Pedro a kaduana dagiti sangapulo ket maysa, impigsana ti timekna, a kinunana kadakuada, “Lallaki iti Judea ken dakayo amin nga agnanaed iti Jerusalem, ammoenyo koma daytoy; denggenyo a naimbag dagiti sasaok.
Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, lifted up his voice, and addressed the crowd: “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and listen carefully to my words.
15 Ta saan a nabartek dagitoy nga tattao kas iti pagarupyo, ta maikatlo pay laeng nga oras iti aldaw.
These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It is only the third hour of the day!
16 Ngem daytoy ti naisao babaen kenni profeta Joel:
No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
17 'Daytoy ket kadagitinto maudi nga al-aldaw,' kuna ti Dios, 'Pagnaedekto ti Espirituk kadagiti amin a tattao. Agipadtonto dagiti annakyo a lallaki ken babbai, makakitanto iti sirmata dagiti agtutuboyo a lallaki ken agtagtagainepto dagiti panglakayenyo.
‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.
18 Kasta met a kadigidinto nga al-aldaw ket pagnaedekto ti Espirituk kadagiti adipenko ken kadagiti babbai nga adipenko, ket agipadtodanto.
Even on My menservants and maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.
19 Mangipakitaakto kadagiti pagsiddaawan iti tangatang ken kadagiti pagilasinan iti daga, dara, apuy, ken alibungubong ti asok.
I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke.
20 Sumipngetto ti init ken agbalin a kasla dara ti bulan, sakbay a dumteng ti naindaklan ken nakaskasdaaw nga aldaw ti Apo.
The sun will be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the coming of the great and glorious Day of the Lord.
21 Ket mapasamakto a tunggal maysa nga umaw-awag iti nagan ti Apo ket maisalakan.'
And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’
22 Lallaki iti Israel, denggenyo dagitoy a sasao: Ni Jesus a Taga-Nasaret, ti tao a pinaneknekan ti Dios kadakayo babaen kadagiti nabileg nga ar-aramid ken kadagiti nakaskasdaaw ken pagilasinan nga inaramid ti Dios babaen kenkuana iti nagtetengngaanyo, kas ammoyo a mismo-
Men of Israel, listen to this message: Jesus of Nazareth was a man certified by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs, which God did among you through Him, as you yourselves know.
23 gapu iti naikeddengen a plano ken sigud a Pakaammo ti Dios, naiyawat isuna, ket dakayo, babaen iti ima dagiti awanan linteg a lallaki, inlansayo iti krus ken pinapatayyo isuna;
He was delivered up by God’s set plan and foreknowledge, and you, by the hands of the lawless, put Him to death by nailing Him to the cross.
24 isuna a pinagungar ti Dios, napalukayan ti ut-ot ni patay manipud kenkuana, gapu ta saan a mabalin a tenglen isuna iti patay.
But God raised Him from the dead, releasing Him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for Him to be held in its clutches.
25 Ta kuna ni David maipanggep kenkuana, 'Nakitak ti Apo a kankanayon nga adda iti sangoanak, gapu ta isu ket adda iti sibay ti makannawanko tapno saanak a magaraw.
David says about Him: ‘I saw the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
26 Isu a nagrag-o ti pusok ken nagragsak ti dilak. Kasta met nga agbiagto ti lasagko iti kinatalged.
Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will dwell in hope,
27 Ta saanmonto a baybay-an ti kararuak idiay hades, wenno ipalubos iti Nasantoam a makitana ti panagrupsa. (Hadēs g86)
because You will not abandon my soul to Hades, nor will You let Your Holy One see decay. (Hadēs g86)
28 Impakaammom kaniak dagiti wagas ti panagbiag; pagbalinennakto a napnuan iti rag-o babaen iti rupam.'
You have made known to me the paths of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence.’
29 Kakabsat, sitatalgedak nga agsao kadakayo iti maipanggep kenni David nga ama iti puli: natay isuna ken naipunpon, ket adda pay laeng kadatayo ita ti nakaitanemanna.
Brothers, I can tell you with confidence that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.
30 Ngarud, isuna ket maysa a profeta ken ammona a nagsapata ti Dios iti maysa a kari kenkuana, a pagtugawento ti Dios ti maysa kadagiti kaputotanna iti tronona.
But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that He would place one of his descendants on his throne.
31 Nakitana daytoy ken nagsao maipanggep iti panagungar ti Cristo, 'Saan isuna a nabaybay-an idiay hades, wenno nakita iti lasagna ti panagrupsa. (Hadēs g86)
Foreseeing this, David spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that He was not abandoned to Hades, nor did His body see decay. (Hadēs g86)
32 Daytoy a Jesus- pinagungar isuna ti Dios, nga iti daytoy ket nagbalintayo amin a saksi.
God has raised this Jesus to life, to which we are all witnesses.
33 Isu nga iti pannakaipangatona idiay makannawan nga ima ti Dios ken iti panangawatna iti naikari nga Espiritu Santo manipud iti Ama, pinagnaedna daytoy, kas makitkita ken mangmangngegyo.
Exalted, then, to the right hand of God, He has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.
34 Ta saan a nagpangato ni David idiay langit, ngem kunana, 'Kinuna ti Apo iti Apok, “Agtugawka iti makannawanko,
For David did not ascend into heaven, but he himself says: ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand
35 agingga a pagbalinek a pagbatayan dagita sakam dagiti kabusormo.”
until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”’
36 Ngarud, ammoen koma dagiti amin a babbalay iti Israel ti kinapudno a pinagbalin ti Dios isuna nga Apo ken Cristo, daytoy a Jesus nga inlansayo iti krus.
Therefore let all Israel know with certainty that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ!”
37 Ita, idi nangngeganda daytoy, kasla la natudok kadagiti pusoda, ket kinunada kenni Pedro ken kadagiti dadduma pay nga apostol, “Kakabsat, ania iti rumbeng nga aramidenmi?”
When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and asked Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”
38 Ket kinuna ni Pedro kadakuada, “Agbabawi ken agpabautisarkayo, tunggal maysa kadakayo, iti nagan ni Jesu-Cristo para iti pannakapakawan dagiti basbasolyo, ket awatenyonto ti sagut iti Nasantoan nga Espiritu.
Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
39 Ta para kadakayo ti kari ken para kadagiti annakyo ken para iti amin nga adda iti adayo, kas kaadu ti tattao nga awaganto ti Apo a Diostayo.”
This promise belongs to you and your children and to all who are far off—to all whom the Lord our God will call to Himself.”
40 Babaen iti adu pay a dadduma a sasao ket pinaneknekanna ken inallukoyna ida; kinunana, “Isalakanyo dagiti bagbagiyo manipud iti daytoy a managdakdakes a henerasyon.”
With many other words he testified, and he urged them, “Be saved from this corrupt generation.”
41 Ket inawatda ti saona ken nabautisaranda, ket adda nainayon iti dayta nga aldaw nga agarup tallo ribo a karkararua.
Those who embraced his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to the believers that day.
42 Nagtultuloyda a nagdengdengngeg iti sursuro dagiti apostol ken naglilinnangenda, inaramidda pay ti panangpispisi iti tinapay ken nagkarkararagda.
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
43 Nagbuteng ti tunggal kararua, ket adu a nakakaskasdaaw ken pagilasinan ti naaramid babaen kadagiti apostol.
A sense of awe came over everyone, and the apostles performed many wonders and signs.
44 nagkakadua amin dagiti namati ken nagririnnanudda iti amin a banbanag,
All the believers were together and had everything in common.
45 ket inlakoda dagiti sanikuada ken gamgamengda ket inwarasda iti amin, segun iti pakasapulan iti siasinoman.
Selling their possessions and goods, they shared with anyone who was in need.
46 Ngarud, inaldaw-aldaw a nagtultuloyda iti Templo, nga addaan iti maymaysa a panggep, ken inaramidda ti panangpisi iti tinapay kadagiti uneg iti pagtaengan, ken nagbibinningayda iti taraon nga addaan ragsak ken kinapakumbaba iti puso;
With one accord they continued to meet daily in the temple courts and to break bread from house to house, sharing their meals with gladness and sincerity of heart,
47 nagdayawda iti Dios ken immawatda iti panagraem manipud kadagiti amin a tattao. Ket inaldaw-aldaw nga adda inaynayon ti Apo kadakuada a maisalsalakan.
praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
