Lukács 21
1 Amikor feltekintett, látta, hogy a gazdagok hogyan dobálják ajándékaikat a perselybe.
And having looked up, he saw the rich casting their gifts into the treasury.
2 Látott egy szegény özvegyasszonyt is, hogy két fillért dobott abba,
And he also saw a certain poor widow there casting in two mites.
3 és így szólt: „Bizony mondom néktek, hogy ez a szegény özvegy mindenkinél többet adott.
And he said, Truly I say to you, that this poor widow cast in more than they all.
4 Mert azok mind a fölöslegükből adtak Istennek ajándékot, ez pedig az ő szegénységéből minden vagyonát, amije volt, odaadta.“
For all these cast into the offerings of God from their abundance, but this woman from her poverty cast in all the living that she had.
5 Amikor némelyek azt mondták a templomról, hogy az szép kövekkel és ajándékokkal van felékesítve, ő így szólt:
And as some spoke about the temple, that it was adorned with fine stones and gifts, he said,
6 „Jönnek majd napok, amikor ezekből, amiket láttok, nem marad kő kövön, amelyet le nem rombolnának.“
These things that ye see, the days will come during which there will not be left a stone upon a stone that will not be thrown down.
7 Ekkor ezt kérdezték tőle: „Mester, mikor lesz ez, és mi lesz annak a jele, hogy ez beteljesül?“
And they questioned him, saying, Teacher, when therefore will these things be? And what is the sign when these things are going to happen?
8 Ő pedig ezt mondta: „Vigyázzatok, hogy meg ne tévesszenek titeket, mert sokan jönnek az én nevemben, akik ezt mondják: Én vagyok! – meg azt: Az idő elközelgett! De ti ne menjetek utánuk.
And he said, Watch that ye may not be led astray, for many will come in my name, saying, I am, and, The time has come near. Go ye not therefore after them.
9 Amikor hallotok háborúkról és lázadásokról, ne rettenjetek meg, mert ezeknek előbb meg kell történniük, de nem jön mindjárt a vég.“
And when ye may hear of wars and tumults, do not be alarmed, for these things must first happen, but the end is not straightaway.
10 Aztán így folytatta: „Nemzet nemzet ellen és ország ország ellen támad,
Then he said to them, Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
11 és mindenfelé nagy földindulások, járványok és éhínségek lesznek, rettenetes dolgok történnek, és nagy jelek tűnnek föl az égen.
And great earthquakes will be in various places, and famines and plagues. And there will be fearful sights and great signs from the sky.
12 De mindezek előtt kezet emelnek rátok, és üldöznek titeket. Átadnak titeket a zsinagógáknak, és börtönbe vetnek, és királyok és helytartók elé visznek az én nevemért.
But before all these things, they will throw their hands on you, and will persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
13 De ez alkalom lesz nektek a bizonyságtételre.
But it will go out from you for testimony.
14 Határozzátok el azért szívetekben, hogy nem gondoltok előre, hogy mit feleljetek védelmetekre,
Settle therefore in your hearts not to premeditate to make defense.
15 mert én adok nektek szájat és bölcsességet, amelynek nem tud ellenállni vagy ellene mondani egyetlen ellenfeletek sem.
For I will give you a mouth and wisdom that all those who oppose you will not be able to contradict or to resist.
16 Elárulnak titeket szülők és testvérek, rokonok és barátok is, és némelyeket megölnek közületek,
And ye will be betrayed even by parents, and kinsmen, and friends, and brothers. And some of you they will condemn to death.
17 és gyűlöletesek lesztek mindenki előtt az én nevemért,
And ye will be hated by all men because of my name.
18 de fejetek hajszála sem vész el.
And, no, not a hair of your head will perish.
19 Béketűrésetek által nyeritek meg lelketeket.
In your perseverance ye gain your souls.
20 Amikor látjátok, hogy Jeruzsálemet hadsereg keríti be, akkor tudjátok meg, hogy elközelített pusztulása.
But when ye see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that the desolation of it has come near.
21 Akkor, akik Júdeában lesznek, fussanak a hegyekre, és akik a városban vannak, költözzenek ki onnan, és akik a mezőn vannak, ne menjenek be oda.
Then let those in Judea flee to the mountains, and let those in the midst of it depart out, and let not those in the rural areas enter into it.
22 Ezek ugyanis az ítéletnek napjai, hogy beteljesedjenek mindazok, amelyek meg vannak írva.
Because these are days of vengeance to fulfill all things that are written.
23 Jaj azokban a napokban a terhes és szoptatós asszonyoknak, mert nagy nyomorúság lesz a földön, és harag e népre.
But woe to those who have in the womb, and to those who suckle in those days. For there will be great distress upon the land, and wrath to this people.
24 Elhullnak a kard élétől, és foglyul vitetnek minden pogány nép közé, és Jeruzsálemet pogányok tapossák, míg be nem teljesedik a pogányok ideje.
And they will fall by the jaw of the sword, and will be led away captive into all the nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled down by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
25 „És lesznek jelek a napban, holdban és csillagokban, a földön népek rettegnek tanácstalanul a tenger zúgása és forrongása miatt,
And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, roaring of sea and of tossing,
26 és az emberek megdermednek a félelem és annak várása miatt, amik e föld kerekségére következnek, mert az egek erői megrendülnek.
fainting of men from fear, and of anticipation of the things coming upon the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
27 Akkor meglátják az Emberfiát eljönni a felhőben hatalommal és nagy dicsőséggel.
And then they will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and much glory.
28 Amikor pedig ezek elkezdődnek, nézzetek fel, és emeljétek fel a fejeteket, mert közeledik megváltásotok.“
And when these things begin to happen, stand upright, and lift up your heads, because your redemption approaches.
29 Mondott nekik egy példázatot is: „Tekintsétek meg a fügefát és minden fát.
And he spoke a parable to them. Behold the fig tree, and all the trees.
30 Amikor már hajtanak, és ezt látjátok, ti magatok is tudjátok, hogy közel van már a nyár.
When they are now sprouting, ye know seeing for yourselves that summer is now near.
31 Így ti is, amikor látjátok, hogy mindezek bekövetkeznek, tudjátok meg: közel van Isten országa.
Even so ye, when ye see these things happening, know ye that the kingdom of God is near.
32 Bizony mondom néktek: nem múlik el ez a nemzedék, míg mindez meg nem lesz.
Truly I say to you, that this generation will, no, not pass away until all things happen.
33 Az ég és a föld elmúlnak, de az én beszédeim nem múlnak el.
The sky and the earth will pass away, but my words may, no, not pass away.
34 Vigyázzatok magatokra, hogy szívetek el ne nehezedjék mámortól, részegségtől vagy a megélhetés gondjaitól, és váratlanul ne lepjen meg titeket az a nap.
But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down in debauchery and drunkenness and mundane cares, and that day come upon you sudden.
35 Mert mint valami csapda, úgy lep meg mindenkit, akik e föld színén laknak.
For it will come like a trap upon all those who sit upon the face of all the earth.
36 Vigyázzatok azért mindenkor, és kérjétek, hogy kimenekülhessetek mindabból, amik bekövetkeznek, és megállhassatok az Emberfia előtt.“
Watch ye therefore, making supplication at all times, so that ye may be considered worthy to escape all these things going to happen, and to stand before the Son of man.
37 Napközben a templomban tanított, éjszakánként pedig kiment az Olajfák hegyére.
And during the days he was teaching in the temple, and going forth the nights, he lodged on the mount that is called Olives.
38 És kora reggel az egész nép hozzáment, hogy őt hallgassa a templomban.
And all the people rose early in the morning to him in the temple to hear him.
