Ezékiel 8

1 És lőn a hatodik esztendőben, a hatodik hónapban, a hónap ötödik napján: én ülök vala házamban, és Júda vénei ülnek vala előttem és esék reám ott az Úr Istennek keze.

And it was doon in the sixte yeer, in the sixte monethe, in the fyuethe dai of the monethe, Y sat in myn hous, and the elde men of Juda saten bifore me; and the hond of the Lord God felle there on me.

2 És látám, és ímé vala mintegy tűznek formája, derekának alakjától fogva lefelé tűz vala, és derekától fogva fölfelé vala mint a fényesség, mint az izzó ércz.

And Y siy, and lo! a licnesse as the biholdyng of fier; fro the biholding of hise leendis and bynethe was fier, and fro hise leendis and aboue was as the biholdyng of schynyng, as the siyt of electre.

3 És kinyújta egy kézformát, és megragada engem fejem üstökénél fogva, és fölemelve vitt engem a lélek a föld és az ég között, és bevive engem Jeruzsálembe isteni látásokban a belső kapu bejáratához, a mely északra néz, a hol vala helye a bosszúság bálványának, a mely bosszúságra ingerel vala;

And the licnesse of an hond was sent out, and took me bi the heer of myn heed; and the spirit reiside me bitwixe heuene and erthe, and brouyte me in to Jerusalem, in the siyt of God, bisidis the ynnere dore that bihelde to the north, where the idol of enuye was set, to stire indignacioun.

4 És ímé ott vala Izráel Istenének dicsősége, a látás szerint, a melyet láttam a völgyben.

And lo! the glorie of God of Israel was there, bi siyt which Y siy in the feeld.

5 És monda nékem: Embernek fia! emeld föl csak szemeidet észak felé. Fölemelém azért szemeimet észak felé: és ímé északra az oltár kapujától áll vala a bosszúság ama bálványa a bejáratnál.

And he seide to me, Thou, sone of man, reise thin iyen to the weie of the north; and Y reiside myn iyen to the weie of the north, and lo! fro the north of the yate of the auter the idol of enuye was in that entryng.

6 És mondá nékem: Embernek fia! látod-e mit cselekesznek? A nagy útálatosságokat, melyeket Izráel háza itt cselekszik, hogy eltávozzam az én szenthelyemtől. De még egyéb nagy útálatosságokat is fogsz látni.

And he seide to me, Sone of man, gessist thou whether thou seest what thing these men doon, the grete abhomynaciouns whiche the hous of Israel doith here, that Y go fer awei fro my seyntuarie? and yit thou schalt turne, and schalt se grettere abhomynaciouns.

7 És vive engem a pitvar bejáratához, és látám, és ímé egy lyuk vala a falban.

And he ledde me with ynne to the dore of the halle; and Y siy, and lo! oon hoole in the wal.

8 És mondá nékem: Embernek fia! ronts csak át a falon! és átronték a falon, és ímé egy ajtó vala ott.

And he seide to me, Sone of man, digge thou the wal; and whanne Y hadde diggid the wal, o dore apperide.

9 És mondá nékem: Menj be és lásd meg a gonosz útálatosságokat, a melyeket ezek ott cselekesznek.

And he seide to me, Entre thou, and se the worste abhomynaciouns, whiche these men doon here.

10 Bemenék azért és látám, és ímé az útálatos csúszó-mászó állatoknak és barmoknak mindenféle képei és Izráel házának minden bálványai vannak bevésve a falon köröskörül.

And Y entride, and siy; and lo! ech licnesse of `crepynge beestis, and abhomynacioun of beestis, and alle idols of the hous of Israel, weren peyntid in the wal al aboute in cumpas.

11 És hetven férfiú Izráel házának vénei közül (ezek közepette Jaazanjáhu, a Sáfán fia) áll vala előttök, mindenik a maga tömjénezőjével kezében, s a füstölőszer felhőjének illata száll vala fel.

And seuenti men of the eldere of the hous of Israel stoden; and Jeconye, the sone of Saphan, stood in the myddis of hem, stondynge bifore the peyntyngis; and ech man hadde a censere in his hond, and the smoke of a cloude of encense stiede.

12 És mondá nékem: Láttad-é, embernek fia, Izráel házának vénei mit cselekesznek a sötétben, kiki az ő képes házában? mert azt mondják: Nem lát minket az Úr, elhagyta az Úr ezt a földet.

And he seide to me, Certis, sone of man, thou seest what thingis the eldere men of the hous of Israel doen in derknessis, ech man in the hid place of his bed; for thei seiyn, The Lord seeth not vs, the Lord hath forsake the lond.

13 És mondá nékem: Még egyéb nagy útálatosságokat is fogsz látni, miket ezek cselekesznek.

And the Lord seide to me, Yit thou schalt turne, and schalt se gretter abhomynaciouns, whiche these men doon.

14 És vive engem az Úr háza kapujának bejáratához, a mely északra van, és ímé ott asszonyok ülnek vala, siratván a Tammúzt.

And he ledde me with ynne, bi the dore of the yate of the hous of the Lord, which dore bihelde to the north; and lo! wymmen saten there, biweilynge Adonydes.

15 És mondá nékem: Láttad-é, embernek fia? még egyéb, ezeknél nagyobb útálatosságokat is fogsz látni.

And the Lord seide to me, Certis, sone of man, thou hast seyn; yit thou schalt turne, and schalt se gretere abhomynaciouns than these.

16 És bevive engem az Úr házának belső pitvarába, és ímé az Úr templomának bejáratánál, a tornácz és az oltár között vala mintegy huszonöt férfiú, kik hátokkal az Úr templomára és orczájokkal keletre fordultak, s ezek kelet felé leborulva imádták a napot.

And he ledde me with ynne, in to the ynnere halle of the hous of the Lord; and lo! in the dore of the temple of the Lord, bitwixe the porche and the auter, weren as fyue and twenti men hauynge the backis ayens the temple of the Lord, and her faces to the eest; and thei worschipiden at the risyng of the sunne.

17 És mondá nékem: Láttad-é, embernek fia? avagy kevés-é Júda házának ily útálatosságokat cselekedni, a milyeneket itt cselekedtek? hogy még a földet is betöltik erőszakossággal, és engem megint haragra ingerelnek, ímé, hogy tartják a venyigét orrukhoz!

And the Lord seide to me, Certis, sone of man, thou hast seyn; whether this is a liyt thing to the hous of Juda, that thei schulden do these abhomynaciouns, whiche thei diden here? For thei filliden the lond with wickidnesse, and turneden to terre me to wraththe; and lo! thei applien a braunche to her nose thirlis.

18 Én is búsulásom szerint cselekszem, nem fog kedvezni szemem, sem meg nem szánom őket; s ha kiáltanak füleimbe nagy felszóval, nem hallgatom meg őket.

Therfor and Y schal do in strong veniaunce; myn iye schal not spare, nether Y schal do merci; and whanne thei schulen crie to myn eris with greet vois, Y schal not here hem.
