भजन संहिता 45

1 १ प्रधान बजानेवाले के लिये शोशन्नीम में कोरहवंशियों का मश्कील। प्रेम प्रीति का गीत मेरा हृदय एक सुन्दर विषय की उमंग से उमड़ रहा है, जो बात मैंने राजा के विषय रची है उसको सुनाता हूँ; मेरी जीभ निपुण लेखक की लेखनी बनी है।

To the ouercomere for the lilies, the most loued song of lernyng of the sones of Chore. Myn herte hath teld out a good word; Y seie my workis `to the kyng. Mi tunge is `a penne of a writere; writynge swiftli.

2 २ तू मनुष्य की सन्तानों में परम सुन्दर है; तेरे होठों में अनुग्रह भरा हुआ है; इसलिए परमेश्वर ने तुझे सदा के लिये आशीष दी है।

Crist, thou art fairer in schap than the sones of men; grace is spred abrood in thi lippis; therfor God blessid thee withouten ende.

3 ३ हे वीर, तू अपनी तलवार को जो तेरा वैभव और प्रताप है अपनी कमर पर बाँध!

Be thou gird with thi swerd; on thi hipe most myytili.

4 ४ सत्यता, नम्रता और धार्मिकता के निमित्त अपने ऐश्वर्य और प्रताप पर सफलता से सवार हो; तेरा दाहिना हाथ तुझे भयानक काम सिखाए!

Biholde thou in thi schaplynesse and thi fairnesse; come thou forth with prosperite, and regne thou. For treuthe, and myldenesse, and riytfulnesse; and thi riyt hond schal lede forth thee wondurfuli.

5 ५ तेरे तीर तो तेज हैं, तेरे सामने देश-देश के लोग गिरेंगे; राजा के शत्रुओं के हृदय उनसे छिदेंगे।

Thi scharpe arowis schulen falle in to the hertis of the enemyes of the kyng; puplis schulen be vndur thee.

6 ६ हे परमेश्वर, तेरा सिंहासन सदा सर्वदा बना रहेगा; तेरा राजदण्ड न्याय का है।

God, thi seete is in to the world of world; the yerde of thi rewme is a yerde of riyt reulyng, `ethir of equite.

7 ७ तूने धार्मिकता से प्रीति और दुष्टता से बैर रखा है। इस कारण परमेश्वर ने हाँ, तेरे परमेश्वर ने तुझको तेरे साथियों से अधिक हर्ष के तेल से अभिषेक किया है।

Thou louedist riytfulnesse, and hatidist wickidnesse; therfor thou, God, thi God, anoyntide thee with the oile of gladnesse, more than thi felowis.

8 ८ तेरे सारे वस्त्र गन्धरस, अगर, और तेज से सुगन्धित हैं, तू हाथी दाँत के मन्दिरों में तारवाले बाजों के कारण आनन्दित हुआ है।

Mirre, and gumme, and cassia, of thi clothis, of the `housis yuer;

9 ९ तेरी प्रतिष्ठित स्त्रियों में राजकुमारियाँ भी हैं; तेरी दाहिनी ओर पटरानी, ओपीर के कुन्दन से विभूषित खड़ी है।

of whiche the douytris of kyngis delitiden thee. A queen stood nyy on thi riyt side in clothing ouergildid; cumpassid with dyuersitee.

10 १० हे राजकुमारी सुन, और कान लगाकर ध्यान दे; अपने लोगों और अपने पिता के घर को भूल जा;

Douyter, here thou, and se, and bowe doun thin eere; and foryete thi puple, and the hows of thi fadir.

11 ११ और राजा तेरे रूप की चाह करेगा। क्योंकि वह तो तेरा प्रभु है, तू उसे दण्डवत् कर।

And the kyng schal coueyte thi fairnesse; for he is thi Lord God, and thei schulen worschipe hym.

12 १२ सोर की राजकुमारी भी भेंट करने के लिये उपस्थित होगी, प्रजा के धनवान लोग तुझे प्रसन्न करने का यत्न करेंगे।

And the douytris of Tire in yiftis; alle the riche men of the puple schulen biseche thi cheer.

13 १३ राजकुमारी महल में अति शोभायमान है, उसके वस्त्र में सुनहले बूटे कढ़े हुए हैं;

14 १४ वह बूटेदार वस्त्र पहने हुए राजा के पास पहुँचाई जाएगी। जो कुमारियाँ उसकी सहेलियाँ हैं, वे उसके पीछे-पीछे चलती हुई तेरे पास पहुँचाई जाएँगी।

15 १५ वे आनन्दित और मगन होकर पहुँचाई जाएँगी, और वे राजा के महल में प्रवेश करेंगी।

Thei schulen be brouyt in gladnesse, and ful out ioiyng; thei schulen be brouyt in to the temple of the kyng.

16 १६ तेरे पितरों के स्थान पर तेरे सन्तान होंगे; जिनको तू सारी पृथ्वी पर हाकिम ठहराएगा।

Sones ben borun to thee, for thi fadris; thou schalt ordeyne hem princes on al erthe.

17 १७ मैं ऐसा करूँगा, कि तेरे नाम की चर्चा पीढ़ी से पीढ़ी तक होती रहेगी; इस कारण देश-देश के लोग सदा सर्वदा तेरा धन्यवाद करते रहेंगे।

Lord, thei schulen be myndeful of thi name; in ech generacioun, and in to generacioun. Therfor puplis schulen knouleche to thee withouten ende; and in to the world of world.
