1 १ हमारी बँधुआई के पच्चीसवें वर्ष अर्थात् यरूशलेम नगर के ले लिए जाने के बाद चौदहवें वर्ष के पहले महीने के दसवें दिन को, यहोवा की शक्ति मुझ पर हुई, और उसने मुझे वहाँ पहुँचाया।
In the five and twentieth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after that the city was struck, in the same day, the hand of Jehovah was on me, and he brought me there.
2 २ अपने दर्शनों में परमेश्वर ने मुझे इस्राएल के देश में पहुँचाया और वहाँ एक बहुत ऊँचे पहाड़ पर खड़ा किया, जिस पर दक्षिण ओर मानो किसी नगर का आकार था।
In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set me down on a very high mountain, whereon was as it were the frame of a city on the south.
3 ३ जब वह मुझे वहाँ ले गया, तो मैंने क्या देखा कि पीतल का रूप धरे हुए और हाथ में सन का फीता और मापने का बाँस लिए हुए एक पुरुष फाटक में खड़ा है।
He brought me there; and, look, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of bronze, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate.
4 ४ उस पुरुष ने मुझसे कहा, “हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, अपनी आँखों से देख, और अपने कानों से सुन; और जो कुछ मैं तुझे दिखाऊँगा उस सब पर ध्यान दे, क्योंकि तू इसलिए यहाँ पहुँचाया गया है कि मैं तुझे ये बातें दिखाऊँ; और जो कुछ तू देखे वह इस्राएल के घराने को बताए।”
The man said to me, "Son of man, see with your eyes, and hear with your ears, and set your heart on all that I shall show you; for, to the intent that I may show them to you, you are brought here: declare all that you see to the house of Israel."
5 ५ और देखो, भवन के बाहर चारों ओर एक दीवार थी, और उस पुरुष के हाथ में मापने का बाँस था, जिसकी लम्बाई ऐसे छः हाथ की थी जो साधारण हाथों से चार अंगुल भर अधिक है; अतः उसने दीवार की मोटाई मापकर बाँस भर की पाई, फिर उसकी ऊँचाई भी मापकर बाँस भर की पाई।
Look, a wall on the outside of the house all around, and in the man's hand a measuring reed ten feet four inches (based on a standard eighteen inches plus three inches). So he measured the thickness of the building ten feet four inches, and the height ten feet four inches.
6 ६ तब वह उस फाटक के पास आया जिसका मुँह पूर्व की ओर था, और उसकी सीढ़ी पर चढ़कर फाटक की दोनों डेवढ़ियों की चौड़ाई मापकर एक-एक बाँस भर की पाई।
Then came he to the gate which looks toward the east, and went up its steps: and he measured the threshold of the gate, ten feet four inches broad; and the other threshold, ten feet four inches broad.
7 ७ पहरेवाली कोठरियाँ बाँस भर लम्बी और बाँस भर चौड़ी थीं; और दो-दो कोठरियों का अन्तर पाँच हाथ का था; और फाटक की डेवढ़ी जो फाटक के ओसारे के पास भवन की ओर थी, वह भी बाँस भर की थी।
Every side-room was ten feet four inches long, and one reed broad; and the space between the side-rooms was eight feet seven inches; and the threshold of the gate by the porch of the gate at the inner end was ten feet four inches.
He measured also the porch of the gate toward the house, ten feet four inches.
9 ९ उसने फाटक का ओसारा मापकर आठ हाथ का पाया, और उसके खम्भे दो-दो हाथ के पाए, और फाटक का ओसारा भवन के सामने था।
Then measured he the porch of the gate, thirteen feet nine inches; and its jambs, three feet five inches; and the porch of the gate was toward the inner end.
10 १० पूर्वी फाटक के दोनों ओर तीन-तीन पहरेवाली कोठरियाँ थीं जो सब एक ही माप की थीं, और दोनों ओर के खम्भे भी एक ही माप के थे।
The side-rooms of the gate eastward were three on this side, and three on that side; they three were of one measure: and the jambs had the same measurement.
11 ११ फिर उसने फाटक के द्वार की चौड़ाई मापकर दस हाथ की पाई; और फाटक की लम्बाई मापकर तेरह हाथ की पाई।
He measured the breadth of the opening of the gate, seventeen feet three inches; and the length of the gate, twenty-two feet five inches;
12 १२ दोनों ओर की पहरेवाली कोठरियों के आगे हाथ भर का स्थान था और दोनों ओर कोठरियाँ छः छः हाथ की थीं।
and a barrier in front of the side-rooms, twenty-one inches, and a barrier on the other side, twenty-one inches; and the side-rooms were ten feet four inches square.
13 १३ फिर उसने फाटक को एक ओर की पहरेवाली कोठरी की छत से लेकर दूसरी ओर की पहरेवाली कोठरी की छत तक मापकर पच्चीस हाथ की दूरी पाई, और द्वार आमने-सामने थे।
He measured the gate from the ceiling of the one side-room to the ceiling of the other, a breadth of fourty-three feet one inch; the openings being opposite each other.
He also measured the porch, one hundred three feet four inches; and to the jamb of the courtyard was the gateway all around.
From the forefront of the gate at the entrance to the forefront of the inner porch of the gate were eighty-six feet one inch.
16 १६ पहरेवाली कोठरियों में, और फाटक के भीतर चारों ओर कोठरियों के बीच के खम्भे के बीच-बीच में झिलमिलीदार खिड़कियाँ थी, और खम्भों के ओसारे में भी वैसी ही थी; और फाटक के भीतर के चारों ओर खिड़कियाँ थीं; और हर एक खम्भे पर खजूर के पेड़ खुदे हुए थे।
There were closed windows to the side-rooms, and toward their jambs within the gate all around, and likewise to the porches; and windows were around the inside; and on each jamb were palm trees.
17 १७ तब वह मुझे बाहरी आँगन में ले गया; और उस आँगन के चारों ओर कोठरियाँ थीं; और एक फर्श बना हुआ था; जिस पर तीस कोठरियाँ बनी थीं।
Then he brought me into the outer court; and look, there were rooms and a pavement, made for the court all around: thirty rooms faced the pavement.
The pavement was by the side of the gates, corresponding to the length of the gates; this was the lower pavement.
19 १९ फिर उसने निचले फाटक के आगे से लेकर भीतरी आँगन के बाहर के आगे तक मापकर सौ हाथ पाए; वह पूर्व और उत्तर दोनों ओर ऐसा ही था।
Then he measured the breadth from the forefront of the lower gate to the forefront of the inner court outside, one hundred seventy-two feet three inches, both on the east and on the north.
And the gate of the outer court which faced toward the north, he measured its length and its breadth.
21 २१ उसके दोनों ओर तीन-तीन पहरेवाली कोठरियाँ थीं, और इसके भी खम्भों के ओसारे की माप पहले फाटक के अनुसार थी; इसकी लम्बाई पचास और चौड़ाई पच्चीस हाथ की थी।
And its side-rooms were three on either side, and its jambs and its porches had the same measurement as the first gate; its length was eighty-six feet one inch, and the breadth fourty-three feet one inch.
22 २२ इसकी भी खिड़कियों और खम्भों के ओसारे और खजूरों की माप पूर्वमुखी फाटक की सी थी; और इस पर चढ़ने को सात सीढ़ियाँ थीं; और उनके सामने इसका ओसारा था।
And its windows, and its porches, and the palm trees of it had the same measurement as the gate that faced toward the east. And they went up to it by seven steps; and its porch was in front of them.
23 २३ भीतरी आँगन की उत्तर और पूर्व की ओर दूसरे फाटकों के सामने फाटक थे और उसने फाटकों की दूरी मापकर सौ हाथ की पाई।
And there was a gate to the inner court across the gate to the north and the east; and he measured from gate to gate one hundred seventy-two feet three inches.
24 २४ फिर वह मुझे दक्षिण की ओर ले गया, और दक्षिण ओर एक फाटक था; और उसने इसके खम्भे और खम्भों का ओसारा मापकर इनकी वैसी ही माप पाई।
He led me toward the south; and look, a gate toward the south. And he measured its jambs and its porches; they were the same size as the others.
25 २५ उन खिड़कियों के समान इसके और इसके खम्भों के ओसारों के चारों ओर भी खिड़कियाँ थीं; इसकी भी लम्बाई पचास और चौड़ाई पच्चीस हाथ की थी।
There were windows in it and in its porches all around, like those windows; the length was eighty-six feet one inch, and the breadth fourty-three feet one inch.
26 २६ इसमें भी चढ़ने के लिये सात सीढ़ियाँ थीं और उनके सामने खम्भों का ओसारा था; और उसके दोनों ओर के खम्भों पर खजूर के पेड़ खुदे हुए थे।
There were seven steps to go up to it, and its porches were in front of them; and it had palm trees on its jambs, one on either side.
27 २७ दक्षिण की ओर भी भीतरी आँगन का एक फाटक था, और उसने दक्षिण ओर के दोनों फाटकों की दूरी मापकर सौ हाथ की पाई।
There was a gate to the inner court toward the south. And he measured from gate to gate toward the south one hundred seventy-two feet three inches.
28 २८ तब वह दक्षिणी फाटक से होकर मुझे भीतरी आँगन में ले गया, और उसने दक्षिणी फाटक को मापकर वैसा ही पाया।
Then he brought me to the inner court by the south gate, and it had the same dimensions as the others.
29 २९ अर्थात् इसकी भी पहरेवाली कोठरियाँ, और खम्भे, और खम्भों का ओसारा, सब वैसे ही थे; और इसके और इसके खम्भों के ओसारे के भी चारों ओर भी खिड़कियाँ थीं; और इसकी लम्बाई पचास और चौड़ाई पच्चीस हाथ की थी।
And its side-rooms, and its jambs, and its porches were of the same size as the others. And there were windows in it and in its porches all around; it was eighty-six feet one inch long, and fourty-three feet one inch broad.
And there were porches all around, fourty-three feet one inch long, and eight feet seven inches broad.
31 ३१ इसका खम्भों का ओसारा बाहरी आँगन की ओर था, और इसके खम्भों पर भी खजूर के पेड़ खुदे हुए थे, और इस पर चढ़ने को आठ सीढ़ियाँ थीं।
And the porches of it faced the outer court, and palm trees were on its jambs, and its stairway had eight steps.
And he brought me to the inner court toward the east, and he measured the gate as being the same size;
33 ३३ इसकी भी पहरेवाली कोठरियाँ और खम्भे और खम्भों का ओसारा, सब वैसे ही थे; और इसके और इसके खम्भों के ओसारे के चारों ओर भी खिड़कियाँ थीं; इसकी लम्बाई पचास और चौड़ाई पच्चीस हाथ की थी।
and its side-rooms, and its jambs, and its porches were the same size as the others, and there were windows in it and in its porches all around. It was eighty-six feet one inch long, and fourty-three feet one inch broad.
34 ३४ इसका ओसारा भी बाहरी आँगन की ओर था, और उसके दोनों ओर के खम्भों पर खजूर के पेड़ खुदे हुए थे; और इस पर भी चढ़ने को आठ सीढ़ियाँ थीं।
The porches of it faced the outer court; and palm trees were on its jambs, on either side, and its stairway had eight steps.
He brought me to the north gate, and he measured it; and it had the same dimensions as the others;
36 ३६ उसके भी पहरेवाली कोठरियाँ और खम्भे और उनका ओसारा था; और उसके भी चारों ओर खिड़कियाँ थीं; उसकी लम्बाई पचास और चौड़ाई पच्चीस हाथ की थी।
its side-rooms, its jambs, and its porches. And there were windows in it all around; the length was eighty-six feet one inch, and the breadth fourty-three feet one inch.
37 ३७ उसके खम्भे बाहरी आँगन की ओर थे, और उन पर भी दोनों ओर खजूर के पेड़ खुदे हुए थे; और उसमें चढ़ने को आठ सीढ़ियाँ थीं।
And its porch faced the outer court; and palm trees were on its jambs, on either side, and its stairway had eight steps.
And a chamber with its door was by the porch of the gate; there they washed the burnt offering.
39 ३९ होमबलि, पापबलि, और दोषबलि के पशुओं के वध करने के लिये फाटक के ओसारे के पास उसके दोनों ओर दो-दो मेजें थीं।
And in the porch of the gate were two tables on either side, and two tables on that side, on which to slaughter the burnt offering and the sin offering and guilt offering.
40 ४० फाटक की एक बाहरी ओर पर अर्थात् उत्तरी फाटक के द्वार की चढ़ाई पर दो मेजें थीं; और उसकी दूसरी बाहरी ओर पर भी, जो फाटक के ओसारे के पास थी, दो मेजें थीं।
On the one side outside, as one goes up to the entrance of the north gate, were two tables; and on the other side of the porch of the gate were two tables.
Four tables were on either side of the gate, eight tables on which they slaughtered the sacrifices.
42 ४२ फिर होमबलि के लिये तराशे हुए पत्थर की चार मेजें थीं, जो डेढ़ हाथ लम्बी, डेढ़ हाथ चौड़ी, और हाथ भर ऊँची थीं; उन पर होमबलि और मेलबलि के पशुओं को वध करने के हथियार रखे जाते थे।
There were four tables of carved stone for the burnt offering, two feet seven inches long, and two feet seven inches broad, and twenty-one inches high; on which they laid the instruments with which they slaughtered the burnt offering and the sacrifice.
The hooks, three inches long, were fastened all around within, and on the tables was the flesh of the offering.
44 ४४ भीतरी आँगन के उत्तरी फाटक के बाहर गानेवालों की कोठरियाँ थीं जिनके द्वार दक्षिण ओर थे; और पूर्वी फाटक की ओर एक कोठरी थी, जिसका द्वार उत्तर ओर था।
And from the outside of the inner gate were two chambers in the inner court, one which was at the side of the north gate facing toward the south; and one at the side of the south gate facing toward the north.
45 ४५ उसने मुझसे कहा, “यह कोठरी, जिसका द्वार दक्षिण की ओर है, उन याजकों के लिये है जो भवन की चौकसी करते हैं,
He said to me, "This room that faces toward the south, is for the priests, the keepers of the duty of the house;
46 ४६ और जिस कोठरी का द्वार उत्तर की ओर है, वह उन याजकों के लिये है जो वेदी की चौकसी करते हैं; ये सादोक की सन्तान हैं; और लेवियों में से यहोवा की सेवा टहल करने को केवल ये ही उसके समीप जाते हैं।”
and the room that faces toward the north is for the priests, the keepers of the duty of the altar: these are the sons of Zadok, who from among the sons of Levi come near to Jehovah to minister to him."
47 ४७ फिर उसने आँगन को मापकर उसे चौकोर अर्थात् सौ हाथ लम्बा और सौ हाथ चौड़ा पाया; और भवन के सामने वेदी थी।
He measured the court, one hundred seventy-two feet three inches long, and one hundred seventy-two feet three inches broad, a square; and the altar was in front of the house.
48 ४८ फिर वह मुझे भवन के ओसारे में ले गया, और ओसारे के दोनों ओर के खम्भों को मापकर पाँच-पाँच हाथ का पाया; और दोनों ओर फाटक की चौड़ाई तीन-तीन हाथ की थी।
Then he brought me to the porch of the house, and measured the jambs of the porch, eight feet seven inches on each side. And the breadth of the gate was twenty-four feet one inch, and the sides of the gate were five feet two inches on each side.
49 ४९ ओसारे की लम्बाई बीस हाथ और चौड़ाई ग्यारह हाथ की थी; और उस पर चढ़ने को सीढ़ियाँ थीं; और दोनों ओर के खम्भों के पास लाटें थीं।
The length of the porch was thirty-four feet five inches, and the breadth twenty feet eight inches. And they went up to it by ten steps; and there were pillars by the jambs on either side.
