लूका 21
1 प्रभु येशु ने देखा कि धनी व्यक्ति दानकोष में अपना अपना दान डाल रहे हैं.
Jesus looked up and saw the rich men who were putting their gifts into the treasury.
2 उन्होंने यह भी देखा कि एक निर्धन विधवा ने दो छोटे सिक्के डाले हैं.
He saw a certain poor widow putting in two mites.
3 इस पर प्रभु येशु ने कहा, “सच यह है कि इस निर्धन विधवा ने उन सभी से बढ़कर दिया है.
So he said, “Truly I say to you, this poor widow put in more than all of them.
4 इन सबने तो अपने धन की बढ़ती में से दिया है किंतु इस विधवा ने अपनी कंगाली में से अपनी सारी जीविका ही दे दी है.”
All of these gave gifts out of their abundance. But this widow, out of her poverty, put in all she had to live on.”
5 जब कुछ शिष्य मंदिर के विषय में चर्चा कर रहे थे कि यह भवन कितने सुंदर पत्थरों तथा मन्नत की भेंटों से सजाया है;
As some spoke of the temple, how it was decorated with beautiful stones and offerings, he said,
6 प्रभु येशु ने उनसे कहा, “जिन वस्तुओं को तुम इस समय सराह रहे हो, एक दिन आएगा कि इन भवनों का एक भी पत्थर दूसरे पर स्थापित न दिखेगा—हर एक पत्थर भूमि पर पड़ा होगा.”
“As for these things that you see, the days will come when not one stone will be left on another which will not be torn down.”
7 उन्होंने प्रभु येशु से प्रश्न किया, “गुरुवर, यह कब घटित होगा तथा इनके पूरा होने के समय का चिन्ह क्या होगा?”
So they asked him, saying, “Teacher, when will these things happen? What will be the sign when these things are about to happen?”
8 प्रभु येशु ने उत्तर दिया, “सावधान रहना कि तुम भटका न दिए जाओ, क्योंकि मेरे नाम में अनेक आएंगे और दावा करेंगे, ‘मैं हूं मसीह’ तथा ‘वह समय पास आ गया है,’ किंतु उनकी न सुनना.
Jesus answered, “Be careful that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am he,' and, 'The time is near.' Do not go after them.
9 जब तुम युद्धों तथा बलवों के समाचार सुनो तो भयभीत न होना. इनका पहले घटना ज़रूरी है फिर भी इनके तुरंत बाद अंत नहीं होगा.”
When you hear of wars and riots, do not be terrified, for these things must happen first, but the end will not happen immediately.”
10 तब प्रभु येशु ने उनसे कहा, “राष्ट्र-राष्ट्र के तथा राज्य-राज्य के विरुद्ध उठ खड़ा होगा.
Then he said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
11 भीषण भूकंप आएंगे. विभिन्न स्थानों पर महामारियां होंगी तथा अकाल पड़ेंगे. भयावह घटनाएं होंगी तथा आकाश में अचंभित दृश्य दिखाई देंगे.
There will be great earthquakes, and in various places famines and plagues. There will be terrifying events and great signs from heaven.
12 “इन सबके पहले वे तुम्हें पकड़ लेंगे और तुम्हें यातनाएं देंगे. मेरे नाम के कारण वे तुम्हें सभागृहों में ले जाएंगे, बंदीगृह में डाल देंगे तथा तुम्हें राजाओं और राज्यपालों के हाथों में सौंप देंगे.
But before all of these things, they will lay their hands on you and will persecute you, delivering you over to the synagogues and prisons, bringing you before kings and governors because of my name.
13 तुम्हें गवाही देने का सुअवसर प्राप्त हो जाएगा.
It will lead to an opportunity for your testimony.
14 इसलिये यह सुनिश्चित करो कि तुम पहले ही अपने बचाव की तैयारी नहीं करोगे,
Therefore resolve in your hearts not to prepare your defense ahead of time,
15 क्योंकि तुम्हें अपने बचाव में कहने के विचार तथा बुद्धि मैं दूंगा, जिसका तुम्हारे विरोधी न तो सामना कर सकेंगे और न ही खंडन.
for I will give you words and wisdom that all your adversaries will not be able to resist or contradict.
16 तुम्हारे माता-पिता, भाई-बहन तथा परिजन और मित्र ही तुम्हारे साथ धोखा करेंगे—वे तुममें से कुछ की तो हत्या भी कर देंगे.
But you will be delivered up also by parents, brothers, relatives, and friends, and they will put some of you to death.
17 मेरे नाम के कारण सभी तुमसे घृणा करेंगे.
You will be hated by everyone because of my name.
18 फिर भी तुम्हारे एक बाल तक की हानि न होगी.
But not a hair of your head will perish.
19 तुम्हारे धीरज में छिपी होगी तुम्हारे जीवन की सुरक्षा.
In your endurance you will gain your souls.
20 “जिस समय येरूशलेम नगर सेनाओं द्वारा घिरा हुआ दिखे, तब यह समझ लेना कि विनाश पास है.
When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its destruction is near.
21 तो वे, जो यहूदिया प्रदेश में हों पर्वतों पर भागकर जाएं; वे, जो नगर में हैं, नगर छोड़कर चले जाएं; जो नगर के बाहर हैं, वे नगर में प्रवेश न करें
Then let those in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the city leave it, and those who are out in the country must not enter the city.
22 क्योंकि यह बदला लेने का समय होगा कि वह सब, जो लेखों में पहले से लिखा है, पूरा हो जाए.
For these are days of vengeance, so that all the things that are written will be fulfilled.
23 दयनीय होगी गर्भवती और दूध पिलाती स्त्रियों की स्थिति! क्योंकि यह मनुष्यों पर क्रोध तथा पृथ्वी पर घोर संकट का समय होगा.
Woe to them who are pregnant and to them who are nursing in those days! For there will be great distress upon the land, and wrath to this people.
24 वे तलवार से घात किए जाएंगे, अन्य राष्ट्र उन्हें बंदी बनाकर ले जाएंगे. येरूशलेम नगर गैर-यहूदियों द्वारा उस समय तक रौंदा जाएगा जब तक गैर-यहूदियों का समय पूरा न हो जाए.
They will fall by the edge of the sword, and they will be led captive into all the nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
25 “सूर्य, चंद्रमा और तारों में अद्भुत चिह्न दिखाई देंगे. पृथ्वी पर राष्ट्रों में आतंक छा जाएगा. गरजते सागर की लहरों के कारण लोग घबरा जाएंगे.
There will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars, and on the earth. The nations will be in distress, anxious because of the roar of the sea and waves.
26 लोग भय और इस आशंका से मूर्च्छित हो जाएंगे कि अब संसार का क्या होगा क्योंकि आकाशमंडल की शक्तियां हिलायी जाएंगी.
There will be men fainting from fear and from expectation of the things which are coming upon the world. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
27 तब वे मनुष्य के पुत्र को बादल में सामर्थ्य और प्रताप में नीचे आता हुआ देखेंगे.
Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 जब ये घटनाएं घटित होने लगें, साहस के साथ स्थिर खड़े होकर आनेवाली घटना की प्रतीक्षा करो क्योंकि समीप होगा तुम्हारा छुटकारा.”
But when these things begin to happen, stand up and lift up your heads, because your deliverance is coming near.”
29 तब प्रभु येशु ने उन्हें इस दृष्टांत के द्वारा शिक्षा दी: “अंजीर के पेड़ तथा अन्य वृक्षों पर ध्यान दो.
Jesus told them a parable, “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees.
30 जब उनमें कोंपलें निकलने लगती हैं तो तुम स्वयं जान जाते हो कि गर्मी का समय पास है.
When they sprout buds, you see for yourselves and know that summer is already near.
31 इसी प्रकार, जब तुम इन घटनाओं को घटित होते हुए देखो तो तुम यह जान जाओगे कि परमेश्वर का राज्य अब पास है.
So also, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near.
32 “सच्चाई तो यह है कि इन घटनाओं के हुए बिना इस युग का अंत नहीं होगा.
Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.
33 आकाश तथा पृथ्वी खत्म हो जाएंगे किंतु मेरे कहे हुए शब्द कभी नहीं.
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
34 “सावधान रहना कि तुम्हारा हृदय जीवन संबंधी चिंताओं, दुर्व्यसनों तथा मतवालेपन में पड़कर सुस्त न हो जाए और वह दिन तुम पर अचानक से फंदे जैसा आ पड़े.
But pay attention to yourselves, so that your hearts are not burdened with the effects of drinking and intoxication, and the worries of life, and then that day will close on you suddenly like a trap.
35 उस दिन का प्रभाव पृथ्वी के हर एक मनुष्य पर पड़ेगा.
For it will come upon everyone living on the face of the whole earth.
36 हमेशा सावधान रहना, प्रार्थना करते रहना कि तुम्हें इन आनेवाली घटनाओं से निकलने के लिए बल प्राप्त हो और तुम मनुष्य के पुत्र की उपस्थिति में खड़े हो सको.”
But be alert at all times, praying that you may be strong enough to escape all these things that will take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”
37 दिन के समय प्रभु येशु मंदिर में शिक्षा दिया करते तथा संध्याकाल में वह ज़ैतून पर्वत पर जाकर प्रार्थना करते हुए रात बिताया करते थे.
So during the days he was teaching in the temple, and at night he went out and stayed on the Mount of Olives.
38 लोग भोर में उनका प्रवचन सुनने मंदिर आ जाया करते थे.
All of the people came early in the morning to hear him in the temple.
