יהושע 21
| ויגשו ראשי אבות הלוים אל אלעזר הכהן ואל יהושע בן נון ואל ראשי אבות המטות לבני ישראל׃ | 1 |
And they approached [the] leaders of [the] fathers of the Levites to Eleazar the priest and to Joshua [the] son of Nun and to [the] leaders of [the] fathers of the tribes of [the] people of Israel.
| וידברו אליהם בשלה בארץ כנען לאמר יהוה צוה ביד משה לתת לנו ערים לשבת ומגרשיהן לבהמתנו׃ | 2 |
And they spoke to them at Shiloh in [the] land of Canaan saying Yahweh he commanded by [the] hand of Moses to give to us cities to dwell in and pasture lands their for livestock our.
| ויתנו בני ישראל ללוים מנחלתם אל פי יהוה את הערים האלה ואת מגרשיהן׃ | 3 |
And they gave [the] people of Israel to the Levites some of inheritance their to [the] mouth of Yahweh the cities these and pasture lands their.
| ויצא הגורל למשפחת הקהתי ויהי לבני אהרן הכהן מן הלוים ממטה יהודה וממטה השמעני וממטה בנימן בגורל ערים שלש עשרה׃ | 4 |
And it came out the lot of [the] clans of the Kohathite[s] and it belonged to [the] descendants of Aaron the priest of the Levites from [the] tribe of Judah and from [the] tribe of the Simeonite[s] and from [the] tribe of Benjamin by the lot cities thir-teen.
| ולבני קהת הנותרים ממשפחת מטה אפרים וממטה דן ומחצי מטה מנשה בגורל ערים עשר׃ | 5 |
And [belonged] to [the] descendants of Kohath which remained from [the] clans of [the] tribe of Ephraim and from [the] tribe of Dan and from [the] half of [the] tribe of Manasseh by the lot cities ten.
| ולבני גרשון ממשפחות מטה יששכר וממטה אשר וממטה נפתלי ומחצי מטה מנשה בבשן בגורל ערים שלש עשרה׃ | 6 |
And [belonged] to [the] descendants of Gershon from [the] clans of [the] tribe of Issachar and from [the] tribe of Asher and from [the] tribe of Naphtali and from [the] half of [the] tribe of Manasseh in Bashan by the lot cities thir-teen.
| לבני מררי למשפחתם ממטה ראובן וממטה גד וממטה זבולן ערים שתים עשרה׃ | 7 |
[and belonged] to [the] descendants of Merari to clans their from [the] tribe of Reuben and from [the] tribe of Gad and from [the] tribe of Zebulun cities two plus ten.
| ויתנו בני ישראל ללוים את הערים האלה ואת מגרשיהן כאשר צוה יהוה ביד משה בגורל׃ | 8 |
And they gave [the] people of Israel to the Levites the cities these and pasture lands their just as he had commanded Yahweh by [the] hand of Moses by the lot.
| ויתנו ממטה בני יהודה וממטה בני שמעון את הערים האלה אשר יקרא אתהן בשם׃ | 9 |
And they gave from [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Judah and from [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Simeon the cities these which he called them by name.
| ויהי לבני אהרן ממשפחות הקהתי מבני לוי כי להם היה הגורל ראישנה׃ | 10 |
And it belonged to [the] descendants of Aaron one of [the] clans of the Kohathite[s] from [the] descendants of Levi for to them it belonged the lot first.
| ויתנו להם את קרית ארבע אבי הענוק היא חברון בהר יהודה ואת מגרשה סביבתיה׃ | 11 |
And they gave to them Kiriath Arba [the] father of Anak that [is] Hebron in [the] hill country of Judah and pasture lands its around it.
| ואת שדה העיר ואת חצריה נתנו לכלב בן יפנה באחזתו׃ | 12 |
And [the] field[s] of the city and villages its they gave to Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh possession his.
| ולבני אהרן הכהן נתנו את עיר מקלט הרצח את חברון ואת מגרשה ואת לבנה ואת מגרשה׃ | 13 |
And to [the] descendants of - Aaron the priest they gave [the] city of refuge of the killer Hebron and pasture lands its and Libnah and pasture lands its.
| ואת יתר ואת מגרשה ואת אשתמע ואת מגרשה׃ | 14 |
And Jattir and pasture lands its and Eshtemoa and pasture lands its.
| ואת חלן ואת מגרשה ואת דבר ואת מגרשה׃ | 15 |
And Holon and pasture lands its and Debir and pasture lands its.
| ואת עין ואת מגרשה ואת יטה ואת מגרשה את בית שמש ואת מגרשה ערים תשע מאת שני השבטים האלה׃ | 16 |
And Ain and pasture lands its and Juttah and pasture lands its Beth Shemesh and pasture lands its cities nine from with [the] two the tribes these.
| וממטה בנימן את גבעון ואת מגרשה את גבע ואת מגרשה׃ | 17 |
And from [the] tribe of Benjamin Gibeon and pasture lands its Geba and pasture lands its.
| את ענתות ואת מגרשה ואת עלמון ואת מגרשה ערים ארבע׃ | 18 |
Anathoth and pasture lands its and Almon and pasture lands its cities four.
| כל ערי בני אהרן הכהנים שלש עשרה ערים ומגרשיהן׃ | 19 |
All [the] cities of [the] descendants of Aaron the priests [were] thir-teen cities and pasture lands their.
| ולמשפחות בני קהת הלוים הנותרים מבני קהת ויהי ערי גורלם ממטה אפרים׃ | 20 |
And to [the] clans of [the] descendants of Kohath the Levites who remained of [the] descendants of Kohath and it was [the] cities of lot their from [the] tribe of Ephraim.
| ויתנו להם את עיר מקלט הרצח את שכם ואת מגרשה בהר אפרים ואת גזר ואת מגרשה׃ | 21 |
And they gave to them [the] city of refuge of the killer Shechem and pasture lands its in [the] hill country of Ephraim and Gezer and pasture lands its.
| ואת קבצים ואת מגרשה ואת בית חורן ואת מגרשה ערים ארבע׃ | 22 |
And Kibzaim and pasture lands its and Beth Horon and pasture lands its cities four.
| וממטה דן את אלתקא ואת מגרשה את גבתון ואת מגרשה׃ | 23 |
And from [the] tribe of Dan Eltekeh and pasture lands its Gibbethon and pasture lands its.
| את אילון ואת מגרשה את גת רמון ואת מגרשה ערים ארבע׃ | 24 |
Aijalon and pasture lands its Gath Rimmon and pasture lands its cities four.
| וממחצית מטה מנשה את תענך ואת מגרשה ואת גת רמון ואת מגרשה ערים שתים׃ | 25 |
And from [the] half of [the] tribe of Manasseh Taanach and pasture lands its and Gath Rimmon and pasture lands its cities two.
| כל ערים עשר ומגרשיהן למשפחות בני קהת הנותרים׃ | 26 |
All [the] cities ten and pasture lands their [belonged] to [the] clans of [the] descendants of Kohath which remained.
| ולבני גרשון ממשפחת הלוים מחצי מטה מנשה את עיר מקלט הרצח את גלון בבשן ואת מגרשה ואת בעשתרה ואת מגרשה ערים שתים׃ | 27 |
And to [the] descendants of Gershon from [the] clans of the Levites from [the] half of [the] tribe of Manasseh [the] city of refuge of the killer (Golan *QK) in Bashan and pasture lands its and Beeshtarah and pasture lands its cities two.
| וממטה יששכר את קשיון ואת מגרשה את דברת ואת מגרשה׃ | 28 |
And from [the] tribe of Issachar Kishion and pasture lands its Daberath and pasture lands its.
| את ירמות ואת מגרשה את עין גנים ואת מגרשה ערים ארבע׃ | 29 |
Jarmuth and pasture lands its En Gannim and pasture lands its cities four.
| וממטה אשר את משאל ואת מגרשה את עבדון ואת מגרשה׃ | 30 |
And from [the] tribe of Asher Mishal and pasture lands its Abdon and pasture lands its.
| את חלקת ואת מגרשה ואת רחב ואת מגרשה ערים ארבע׃ | 31 |
Helkath and pasture lands its and Rehob and pasture lands its cities four.
| וממטה נפתלי את עיר מקלט הרצח את קדש בגליל ואת מגרשה ואת חמת דאר ואת מגרשה ואת קרתן ואת מגרשה ערים שלש׃ | 32 |
And from [the] tribe of Naphtali [the] city of - refuge of the killer Kedesh in Galilee and pasture lands its and Hammoth Dor and pasture lands its and Kartan and pasture lands its cities three.
| כל ערי הגרשני למשפחתם שלש עשרה עיר ומגרשיהן׃ | 33 |
All [the] cities of the Gershonite[s] to clans their [were] thir-teen citi[es] and pasture lands their.
| ולמשפחות בני מררי הלוים הנותרים מאת מטה זבולן את יקנעם ואת מגרשה את קרתה ואת מגרשה׃ | 34 |
And to [the] clans of [the] descendants of Merari the Levites which remained from with [the] tribe of Zebulun Jokneam and pasture lands its Kartah and pasture lands its.
| את דמנה ואת מגרשה את נהלל ואת מגרשה ערים ארבע׃ | 35 |
Dimnah and pasture lands its Nahalal and pasture lands its cities four.
| וממטה ראובן את בצר ואת מגרשה ואת יהצה ואת מגרשה׃ | 36 |

| את קדמות ואת מגרשה ואת מיפעת ואת מגרשה ערים ארבע׃ | 37 |

| וממטה גד את עיר מקלט הרצח את רמת בגלעד ואת מגרשה ואת מחנים ואת מגרשה׃ | 38 |
And from [the] tribe of Gad [the] city of refuge of the killer Ramoth in Gilead and pasture lands its and Mahanaim and pasture lands its.
| את חשבון ואת מגרשה את יעזר ואת מגרשה כל ערים ארבע׃ | 39 |
Heshbon and pasture lands its Jazer and pasture lands its all [the] cities [were] four.
| כל הערים לבני מררי למשפחתם הנותרים ממשפחות הלוים ויהי גורלם ערים שתים עשרה׃ | 40 |
All the cities of [the] descendants of Merari to clans their which remained of [the] clans of the Levites and it was lot their cities two plus ten.
| כל ערי הלוים בתוך אחזת בני ישראל ערים ארבעים ושמנה ומגרשיהן׃ | 41 |
All [the] cities of the Levites in [the] midst of [the] possession of [the] people of Israel [were] cities forty and eight and pasture lands their.
| תהיינה הערים האלה עיר עיר ומגרשיה סביבתיה כן לכל הערים האלה׃ | 42 |
They were the cities these a city a city and pasture lands its around it thus for all the cities these.
| ויתן יהוה לישראל את כל הארץ אשר נשבע לתת לאבותם וירשוה וישבו בה׃ | 43 |
And he gave Yahweh to Israel all the land which he had sworn to give to ancestors their and they took possession of it and they dwelt in it.
| וינח יהוה להם מסביב ככל אשר נשבע לאבותם ולא עמד איש בפניהם מכל איביהם את כל איביהם נתן יהוה בידם׃ | 44 |
And he gave rest Yahweh to them from round about according to all that he had sworn to ancestors their and not he stood anyone in faces their from all enemies their all enemies their he gave Yahweh in hand their.
| לא נפל דבר מכל הדבר הטוב אשר דבר יהוה אל בית ישראל הכל בא׃ | 45 |
Not it fell a word from every word good which he had spoken Yahweh to [the] house of Israel everything it came.
