איוב 7
| הלא צבא לאנוש על ארץ וכימי שכיר ימיו׃ | 1 |
¿ Not [does] service [belong] to humankind (on *Qk) earth and like [the] days of a hired laborer [are] days? his.
| כעבד ישאף צל וכשכיר יקוה פעלו׃ | 2 |
Like a slave [who] he pants for shade and like a hired laborer [who] he longs for wage[s] his.
| כן הנחלתי לי ירחי שוא ולילות עמל מנו לי׃ | 3 |
So I have been allotted for myself months of worthlessness and nights of trouble people have allotted to me.
| אם שכבתי ואמרתי מתי אקום ומדד ערב ושבעתי נדדים עדי נשף׃ | 4 |
If I lay down and I will say when? will I arise and it will continue evening and I will be surfeited restlessness until twilight.
| לבש בשרי רמה וגיש עפר עורי רגע וימאס׃ | 5 |

| ימי קלו מני ארג ויכלו באפס תקוה׃ | 6 |

| זכר כי רוח חיי לא תשוב עיני לראות טוב׃ | 7 |

| לא תשורני עין ראי עיניך בי ואינני׃ | 8 |

| כלה ענן וילך כן יורד שאול לא יעלה׃ (Sheol h7585) | 9 |

| לא ישוב עוד לביתו ולא יכירנו עוד מקמו׃ | 10 |

| גם אני לא אחשך פי אדברה בצר רוחי אשיחה במר נפשי׃ | 11 |

| הים אני אם תנין כי תשים עלי משמר׃ | 12 |

| מאסתי לא לעלם אחיה חדל ממני כי הבל ימי׃ | 16 |

| מה אנוש כי תגדלנו וכי תשית אליו לבך׃ | 17 |
What? [is] humankind that you will make great him and that you will set to him heart your.
| ותפקדנו לבקרים לרגעים תבחננו׃ | 18 |
And you have visited him to mornings to moments you test him.
| כמה לא תשעה ממני לא תרפני עד בלעי רקי׃ | 19 |

| חטאתי מה אפעל לך נצר האדם למה שמתני למפגע לך ואהיה עלי למשא׃ | 20 |

| ומה לא תשא פשעי ותעביר את עוני כי עתה לעפר אשכב ושחרתני ואינני׃ | 21 |
