איוב 32

1 וישבתו שלשת האנשים האלה מענות את איוב כי הוא צדיק בעיניו׃

And they ceased [the] three the men these from answering Job for he [was] righteous in own eyes his.

2 ויחר אף אליהוא בן ברכאל הבוזי ממשפחת רם באיוב חרה אפו על צדקו נפשו מאלהים׃

And it burned [the] anger of - Elihu [the] son of Barakel the Buzite from [the] clan of Ram on Job it burned anger his because justified he self his more than God.

3 ובשלשת רעיו חרה אפו על אשר לא מצאו מענה וירשיעו את איוב׃

And on [the] three companions his it burned anger his on that not they had found an answer and they had condemned as guilty Job.

4 ואליהו חכה את איוב בדברים כי זקנים המה ממנו לימים׃

And Elihu he had waited Job in words for [were] old they more than him to days.

5 וירא אליהוא כי אין מענה בפי שלשת האנשים ויחר אפו׃

And he saw Elihu that there not [was] an answer in [the] mouth of [the] three the men and it burned anger his.

6 ויען אליהוא בן ברכאל הבוזי ויאמר צעיר אני לימים ואתם ישישים על כן זחלתי ואירא מחות דעי אתכם׃

And he answered - Elihu [the] son of Barakel the Buzite and he said [am] young I to days and you [are] aged there-fore I was anxious and I was afraid - from telling knowledge my you.

7 אמרתי ימים ידברו ורב שנים ידיעו חכמה׃

I said days let them speak and abundance of years let them make known wisdom.

8 אכן רוח היא באנוש ונשמת שדי תבינם׃

Nevertheless [is the] spirit it in a person and [the] breath of [the] Almighty [which] it gives understanding them.

9 לא רבים יחכמו וזקנים יבינו משפט׃

Not many [people] they are wise and old [people] they understand justice.

10 לכן אמרתי שמעה לי אחוה דעי אף אני׃

Therefore I say listen! to me I will tell knowledge my also I.

11 הן הוחלתי לדבריכם אזין עד תבונתיכם עד תחקרון מלין׃

Here! I waited for words your I gave ear to understanding your until you searched for! words.

12 ועדיכם אתבונן והנה אין לאיוב מוכיח עונה אמריו מכם׃

And to you I showed myself attentive and there! there not Job [was one who] rebuked [was one who] answered words his any of you.

13 פן תאמרו מצאנו חכמה אל ידפנו לא איש׃

Lest you should say we have found wisdom God let him drive about him not a human.

14 ולא ערך אלי מלין ובאמריכם לא אשיבנו׃

And not he has arranged against me words and with words your not I will respond to him.

15 חתו לא ענו עוד העתיקו מהם מלים׃

They are dismayed not they have answered again they have moved away from them words.

16 והוחלתי כי לא ידברו כי עמדו לא ענו עוד׃

And will I wait? that not they speak that they have stood not they have answered again.

17 אענה אף אני חלקי אחוה דעי אף אני׃

I will answer also I part my I will tell knowledge my also I.

18 כי מלתי מלים הציקתני רוח בטני׃

For I am full words it has constrained me [the] spirit of belly my.

19 הנה בטני כיין לא יפתח כאבות חדשים יבקע׃

Here! belly my [is] like wine [which] not it is opened like wineskins new it will be split open.

20 אדברה וירוח לי אפתח שפתי ואענה׃

Let me speak and it may be relieved to me let me open lips my so I may answer.

21 אל נא אשא פני איש ואל אדם לא אכנה׃

May not please I lift up [the] face of anyone and to anyone not I will use flattery.

22 כי לא ידעתי אכנה כמעט ישאני עשני׃

For not I know I will use flattery like a little he will carry away me [the one who] made me.
