ירמיה 3

1 לאמר הן ישלח איש את אשתו והלכה מאתו והיתה לאיש אחר הישוב אליה עוד הלוא חנוף תחנף הארץ ההיא ואת זנית רעים רבים ושוב אלי נאם יהוה׃

Saying there! he will send away a husband wife his and she will go from with him and she will belong to a man another ¿ will he return to her again ¿ not certainly will it be polluted the land that and you you have acted as a prostitute companions many and will you return? to me [the] utterance of Yahweh.

2 שאי עיניך על שפים וראי איפה לא שגלת על דרכים ישבת להם כערבי במדבר ותחניפי ארץ בזנותיך וברעתך׃

Lift up eyes your on bare heights and see where? not (have you been lain with *Q(K)*) at roads you sat for them like an Arab in the wilderness and you have polluted [the] land by prostitution your and by wickedness your.

3 וימנעו רבבים ומלקוש לוא היה ומצח אשה זונה היה לך מאנת הכלם׃

And they have been withheld copious showers and spring rain not it has come and [the] forehead of a woman a prostitute it belonged to you you refused to be ashamed.

4 הלוא מעתה קראתי לי אבי אלוף נערי אתה׃

¿ Not from now (have you called *Q(K)*) to me O father my [were] [the] close friend of youth my you.

5 הינטר לעולם אם ישמר לנצח הנה דברתי ותעשי הרעות ותוכל׃

¿ Will he maintain for ever or? will he keep to perpetuity here! (you spoke *Q(K)*) and you did wicked things and you were able.

6 ויאמר יהוה אלי בימי יאשיהו המלך הראית אשר עשתה משבה ישראל הלכה היא על כל הר גבה ואל תחת כל עץ רענן ותזני שם׃

And he said Yahweh to me in [the] days of Josiah the king ¿ have you seen [that] which she has done [the] apostate one Israel [has been] going she on every hill high and to under every tree luxuriant and she has acted as a prostitute there.

7 ואמר אחרי עשותה את כל אלה אלי תשוב ולא שבה ותראה בגודה אחותה יהודה׃

And I thought after has done she all these [things] to me she will return and not she has returned (and she saw *Q(k)*) treacherous sister her Judah.

8 וארא כי על כל אדות אשר נאפה משבה ישראל שלחתיה ואתן את ספר כריתתיה אליה ולא יראה בגדה יהודה אחותה ותלך ותזן גם היא׃

And I saw that on all causes that she committed adultery [the] apostate one Israel I sent away her and I gave [the] document of divorce her to her and not she was afraid treacherous Judah sister her and she went and she acted as a prostitute also she.

9 והיה מקל זנותה ותחנף את הארץ ותנאף את האבן ואת העץ׃

And it was from [the] lightness of prostitution her and it was polluted the land and she committed adultery stone and wood.

10 וגם בכל זאת לא שבה אלי בגודה אחותה יהודה בכל לבה כי אם בשקר נאם יהוה׃

And also for all this not she returned to me treacherous sister her Judah with all heart her that except with deception [the] utterance of Yahweh.

11 ויאמר יהוה אלי צדקה נפשה משבה ישראל מבגדה יהודה׃

And he said Yahweh to me she has made appear righteous self her [the] apostate one Israel more than [the] treacherous [one] Judah.

12 הלך וקראת את הדברים האלה צפונה ואמרת שובה משבה ישראל נאם יהוה לוא אפיל פני בכם כי חסיד אני נאם יהוה לא אטור לעולם׃

Go and you will proclaim the words these north-ward and you will say return! O apostate one Israel [the] utterance of Yahweh not I will make fall face my on you for [am] faithful I [the] utterance of Yahweh not I will maintain for ever.

13 אך דעי עונך כי ביהוה אלהיך פשעת ותפזרי את דרכיך לזרים תחת כל עץ רענן ובקולי לא שמעתם נאם יהוה׃

Only recognize iniquity your that against Yahweh God your you have rebelled and you have scattered ways your to strangers under every tree luxuriant and to voice my not you have listened [the] utterance of Yahweh.

14 שובו בנים שובבים נאם יהוה כי אנכי בעלתי בכם ולקחתי אתכם אחד מעיר ושנים ממשפחה והבאתי אתכם ציון׃

Return O sons backsliding [the] utterance of Yahweh for I I am husband over you and I will take you one from a city and two from a clan and I will bring you Zion.

15 ונתתי לכם רעים כלבי ורעו אתכם דעה והשכיל׃

And I will give to you shepherds according to own heart my and they will shepherd you knowledge and insight.

16 והיה כי תרבו ופריתם בארץ בימים ההמה נאם יהוה לא יאמרו עוד ארון ברית יהוה ולא יעלה על לב ולא יזכרו בו ולא יפקדו ולא יעשה עוד׃

And it will be that you will multiply and you will be fruitful in the land in the days those [the] utterance of Yahweh not people will say again [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh and not it will come up on a heart and not people will remember it and not people will miss [it] and not it will be made again.

17 בעת ההיא יקראו לירושלם כסא יהוה ונקוו אליה כל הגוים לשם יהוה לירושלם ולא ילכו עוד אחרי שררות לבם הרע׃

At the time that people will call Jerusalem [the] throne of Yahweh and they will be collected to it all the nations to [the] name of Yahweh to Jerusalem and not they will walk again after [the] stubbornness of heart their evil.

18 בימים ההמה ילכו בית יהודה על בית ישראל ויבאו יחדו מארץ צפון על הארץ אשר הנחלתי את אבותיכם׃

In the days those they will walk [the] house of Judah with [the] house of Israel so they may come together from a land of [the] north to the land which I gave as an inheritance ancestors your.

19 ואנכי אמרתי איך אשיתך בבנים ואתן לך ארץ חמדה נחלת צבי צבאות גוים ואמר אבי תקראו לי ומאחרי לא תשובו׃

And I I thought how! I will set you among the sons so I may give to you a land of desire an inheritance of beauty of beauties of nations and I thought father my (you will call *Q(K)*) me and from after me not (you will turn away. *Q(K)*)

20 אכן בגדה אשה מרעה כן בגדתם בי בית ישראל נאם יהוה׃

Nevertheless she deals treacherously a woman from companion her so you have dealt treacherously with me O house of Israel [the] utterance of Yahweh.

21 קול על שפיים נשמע בכי תחנוני בני ישראל כי העוו את דרכם שכחו את יהוה אלהיהם׃

A sound on bare heights [is] heard [the] weeping of [the] supplications of [the] people of Israel for they have perverted way their they have forgotten Yahweh God their.

22 שובו בנים שובבים ארפה משובתיכם הננו אתנו לך כי אתה יהוה אלהינו׃

Return O sons backsliding I will heal apostasies your here [are] we we have come to you for you [are] Yahweh God our.

23 אכן לשקר מגבעות המון הרים אכן ביהוה אלהינו תשועת ישראל׃

Truly to deception from [the] hills a tumult mountains truly [is] in Yahweh God our [the] salvation of Israel.

24 והבשת אכלה את יגיע אבותינו מנעורינו את צאנם ואת בקרם את בניהם ואת בנותיהם׃

And the shameful thing it has consumed [the] toil of ancestors our since youth our flock[s] their and herd[s] their sons their and daughters their.

25 נשכבה בבשתנו ותכסנו כלמתנו כי ליהוה אלהינו חטאנו אנחנו ואבותינו מנעורינו ועד היום הזה ולא שמענו בקול יהוה אלהינו׃

Let us lie down in shame our and let it cover us disgrace our for to Yahweh God our we have sinned we and ancestors our since youth our and until the day this and not we have listened to [the] voice of Yahweh God our.
