דברי הימים א 24

1 ולבני אהרן מחלקותם בני אהרן נדב ואביהוא אלעזר ואיתמר׃

And to [the] descendants of Aaron divisions their [the] sons of Aaron Nadab and Abihu Eleazar and Ithamar.

2 וימת נדב ואביהוא לפני אביהם ובנים לא היו להם ויכהנו אלעזר ואיתמר׃

And he died Nadab and Abihu before father their and sons not they belonged to them and they served as priests Eleazar and Ithamar.

3 ויחלקם דויד וצדוק מן בני אלעזר ואחימלך מן בני איתמר לפקדתם בעבדתם׃

And he divided them David and Zadok one of [the] descendants of Eleazar and Ahimelech one of [the] descendants of Ithamar to group their by service their.

4 וימצאו בני אלעזר רבים לראשי הגברים מן בני איתמר ויחלקום לבני אלעזר ראשים לבית אבות ששה עשר ולבני איתמר לבית אבותם שמונה׃

And they were found [the] descendants of Eleazar many to [the] chiefs of the men more than [the] descendants of Ithamar and they divided them [belonged] to [the] descendants of Eleazar heads of a house of ancestors six-teen and [belonged] to [the] descendants of Ithamar of [the] house of ancestors their eight.

5 ויחלקום בגורלות אלה עם אלה כי היו שרי קדש ושרי האלהים מבני אלעזר ובבני איתמר׃

And they divided them by lots these with these for they were officials of holiness and [the] officials of God from [the] descendants of Eleazar and among [the] descendants of Ithamar.

6 ויכתבם שמעיה בן נתנאל הסופר מן הלוי לפני המלך והשרים וצדוק הכהן ואחימלך בן אביתר וראשי האבות לכהנים וללוים בית אב אחד אחז לאלעזר ואחז אחז לאיתמר׃

And he recorded them Shemaiah [the] son of Nethanel the scribe one of the Levite[s] before the king and the officials and Zadok the priest and Ahimelech [the] son of Abiathar and [the] heads of the fathers of the priests and of the Levites a house of a father one drawn for Eleazar and drawn - drawn for Ithamar.

7 ויצא הגורל הראשון ליהויריב לידעיה השני׃

And it went out the lot first to Jehoiarib to Jedaiah the second.

8 לחרם השלישי לשערים הרבעי׃

To Harim the third to Seorim the fourth.

9 למלכיה החמישי למימן הששי׃

To Malkijah the fifth to Mijamin the sixth.

10 להקוץ השבעי לאביה השמיני׃

To Hakkoz the seventh to Abijah the eighth.

11 לישוע התשעי לשכניהו העשרי׃

To Jeshua the ninth to Shecaniah the tenth.

12 לאלישיב עשתי עשר ליקים שנים עשר׃

To Eliashib one plus ten to Jakim two plus ten.

13 לחפה שלשה עשר לישבאב ארבעה עשר׃

To Huppah thir-teen to Jeshebeab four-teen.

14 לבלגה חמשה עשר לאמר ששה עשר׃

To Bilgah fif-teen to Immer six-teen.

15 לחזיר שבעה עשר להפצץ שמונה עשר׃

To Hezir seven-teen to Happizzez eight-teen.

16 לפתחיה תשעה עשר ליחזקאל העשרים׃

To Pethahiah nine-teen to Jehezkel the twenty.

17 ליכין אחד ועשרים לגמול שנים ועשרים׃

To Jakin one and twenty to Gamul two and twenty.

18 לדליהו שלשה ועשרים למעזיהו ארבעה ועשרים׃

To Delaiah three and twenty to Maaziah four and twenty.

19 אלה פקדתם לעבדתם לבוא לבית יהוה כמשפטם ביד אהרן אביהם כאשר צוהו יהוה אלהי ישראל׃

These [were] group[s] their for service their to go to [the] house of Yahweh according to ordinance their by [the] hand of Aaron ancestor their just as he had commanded him Yahweh [the] God of Israel.

20 ולבני לוי הנותרים לבני עמרם שובאל לבני שובאל יחדיהו׃

And to [the] sons of Levi which remained of [the] sons of Amram Shubael of [the] sons of Shubael Jehdeiah.

21 לרחביהו לבני רחביהו הראש ישיה׃

For Rehabiah of [the] sons of Rehabiah the chief Isshiah.

22 ליצהרי שלמות לבני שלמות יחת׃

For the Izharite[s] Shelomoth of [the] sons of Shelomoth Jahath.

23 ובני יריהו אמריהו השני יחזיאל השלישי יקמעם הרביעי׃

And [the] sons Jeriah Amariah the second Jahaziel the third Jekameam the fourth.

24 בני עזיאל מיכה לבני מיכה שמור׃

[the] sons of Uzziel Micah of [the] sons of Micah (Shamir. *QK)

25 אחי מיכה ישיה לבני ישיה זכריהו׃

[the] brother of Micah Isshiah of [the] sons of Isshiah Zechariah.

26 בני מררי מחלי ומושי בני יעזיהו בנו׃

[the] sons of Merari Mahli and Mushi [the] sons of Jaaziah (Beno. *LF)

27 בני מררי ליעזיהו בנו ושהם וזכור ועברי׃

[the] sons of Merari of Jaaziah (Beno *LF) and Shoham and Zaccur and Ibri.

28 למחלי אלעזר ולא היה לו בנים׃

For [the] Mahlite[s] Eleazar and not it belonged to him sons.

29 לקיש בני קיש ירחמאל׃

For Kish [the] sons of Kish Jerahmeel.

30 ובני מושי מחלי ועדר וירימות אלה בני הלוים לבית אבתיהם׃

And [the] sons of Mushi Mahli and Eder and Jerimoth these [were] [the] sons of the Levites to [the] house of ancestors their.

31 ויפילו גם הם גורלות לעמת אחיהם בני אהרן לפני דויד המלך וצדוק ואחימלך וראשי האבות לכהנים וללוים אבות הראש לעמת אחיו הקטן׃

And they cast also they lots corresponding to - relatives their [the] descendants of Aaron before David the king and Zadok and Ahimelech and [the] heads of the fathers of the priests and of the Levites fathers the chief corresponding to brother his young.
