תְהִלִּים 97
| יְהוָ֣ה מָ֭לָךְ תָּגֵ֣ל הָאָ֑רֶץ יִ֝שְׂמְח֗וּ אִיִּ֥ים רַבִּֽים׃ | 1 |
Yahweh he reigns let it be glad the earth let them rejoice islands many.
| עָנָ֣ן וַעֲרָפֶ֣ל סְבִיבָ֑יו צֶ֥דֶק וּ֝מִשְׁפָּ֗ט מְכֹ֣ון כִּסְאֹֽו׃ | 2 |
Cloud and thick darkness [are] around him [is] righteousness and justice [the] foundation of throne his.
| אֵ֭שׁ לְפָנָ֣יו תֵּלֵ֑ךְ וּתְלַהֵ֖ט סָבִ֣יב צָרָֽיו׃ | 3 |
Fire before him it goes and it may burn up all around opponents his.
| הֵאִ֣ירוּ בְרָקָ֣יו תֵּבֵ֑ל רָאֲתָ֖ה וַתָּחֵ֣ל הָאָֽרֶץ׃ | 4 |
They light up lightning flashes his [the] world it sees and it trembled the earth.
| הָרִ֗ים כַּדֹּונַ֗ג נָ֭מַסּוּ מִלִּפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה מִ֝לִּפְנֵ֗י אֲדֹ֣ון כָּל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃ | 5 |
Mountains like wax they melt from to before Yahweh from to before [the] lord of all the earth.
| הִגִּ֣ידוּ הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם צִדְקֹ֑ו וְרָא֖וּ כָל־הָעַמִּ֣ים כְּבֹודֹֽו׃ | 6 |
They declare the heavens righteousness his and they see all the peoples glory his.
| יֵבֹ֤שׁוּ ׀ כָּל־עֹ֬בְדֵי פֶ֗סֶל הַמִּֽתְהַלְלִ֥ים בָּאֱלִילִ֑ים הִשְׁתַּחֲווּ־לֹ֝ו כָּל־אֱלֹהִֽים׃ | 7 |
Let them be ashamed - all [those who] serve an image those [who] boast in worthless idols bow down to him O all gods.
| שָׁמְעָ֬ה וַתִּשְׂמַ֨ח ׀ צִיֹּ֗ון וַ֭תָּגֵלְנָה בְּנֹ֣ות יְהוּדָ֑ה לְמַ֖עַן מִשְׁפָּטֶ֣יךָ יְהוָֽה׃ | 8 |
It hears and it rejoiced - Zion and they were glad [the] daughters of Judah on account of judgments your O Yahweh.
| כִּֽי־אַתָּ֤ה יְהוָ֗ה עֶלְיֹ֥ון עַל־כָּל־הָאָ֑רֶץ מְאֹ֥ד נַ֝עֲלֵ֗יתָ עַל־כָּל־אֱלֹהִֽים׃ | 9 |
For you O Yahweh [are] most high over all the earth exceedingly you are exalted above all gods.
| אֹהֲבֵ֥י יְהוָ֗ה שִׂנְא֫וּ רָ֥ע שֹׁ֭מֵר נַפְשֹׁ֣ות חֲסִידָ֑יו מִיַּ֥ד רְ֝שָׁעִ֗ים יַצִּילֵֽם׃ | 10 |
O [you who] love Yahweh hate evil [he is] protecting [the] lives of faithful [people] his from [the] hand of wicked [people] he delivers them.
| אֹ֖ור זָרֻ֣עַ לַצַּדִּ֑יק וּֽלְיִשְׁרֵי־לֵ֥ב שִׂמְחָֽה׃ | 11 |
Light [is] sown for the righteous and for [people] upright of heart joy.
| שִׂמְח֣וּ צַ֭דִּיקִים בַּֽיהוָ֑ה וְ֝הֹוד֗וּ לְזֵ֣כֶר קָדְשֹֽׁו׃ | 12 |
Rejoice O righteous [people] in Yahweh and give thanks to [the] remembrance of holiness his.
