תְהִלִּים 148

1 הַ֥לְלוּ יָ֨הּ ׀ הַֽלְל֣וּ אֶת־יְ֭הוָה מִן־הַשָּׁמַ֑יִם הֽ͏ַ֝לְל֗וּהוּ בַּמְּרֹומִֽים׃

Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heauen: prayse ye him in the high places.

2 הֽ͏ַלְל֥וּהוּ כָל־מַלְאָכָ֑יו הַֽ֝לְל֗וּהוּ כָּל־צְבָאֹו (צְבָאָֽיו)׃

Prayse ye him, all ye his Angels: praise him, all his armie.

3 הַֽ֭לְלוּהוּ שֶׁ֣מֶשׁ וְיָרֵ֑חַ הַ֝לְל֗וּהוּ כָּל־כֹּ֥וכְבֵי אֹֽור׃

Prayse ye him, sunne and moone: prayse ye him all bright starres.

4 הַֽ֭לְלוּהוּ שְׁמֵ֣י הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם וְ֝הַמַּ֗יִם אֲשֶׁ֤ר ׀ מֵעַ֬ל הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃

Prayse ye him, heauens of heauens, and waters, that be aboue the heauens.

5 יְֽ֭הַֽלְלוּ אֶת־שֵׁ֣ם יְהוָ֑ה כִּ֤י ה֭וּא צִוָּ֣ה וְנִבְרָֽאוּ׃

Let them prayse the Name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.

6 וַיַּעֲמִידֵ֣ם לָעַ֣ד לְעֹולָ֑ם חָק־נָ֝תַ֗ן וְלֹ֣א יַעֲבֹֽור׃

And he hath established them for euer and euer: he hath made an ordinance, which shall not passe.

7 הַֽלְל֣וּ אֶת־יְ֭הוָה מִן־הָאָ֑רֶץ תַּ֝נִּינִ֗ים וְכָל־תְּהֹמֹֽות׃

Prayse ye the Lord from the earth, ye dragons and all depths:

8 אֵ֣שׁ וּ֭בָרָד שֶׁ֣לֶג וְקִיטֹ֑ור ר֥וּחַ סְ֝עָרָ֗ה עֹשָׂ֥ה דְבָרֹֽו׃

Fire and hayle, snowe and vapours, stormie winde, which execute his worde:

9 הֶהָרִ֥ים וְכָל־גְּבָעֹ֑ות עֵ֥ץ פְּ֝רִ֗י וְכָל־אֲרָזִֽים׃

Mountaines and all hils, fruitfull trees and all ceders:

10 הַֽחַיָּ֥ה וְכָל־בְּהֵמָ֑ה רֶ֝֗מֶשׂ וְצִפֹּ֥ור כָּנָֽף׃

Beasts and all cattell, creeping things and fethered foules:

11 מַלְכֵי־אֶ֭רֶץ וְכָל־לְאֻמִּ֑ים שָׂ֝רִ֗ים וְכָל־שֹׁ֥פְטֵי אָֽרֶץ׃

Kings of the earth and all people, princes and all iudges of the worlde:

12 בַּחוּרִ֥ים וְגַם־בְּתוּלֹ֑ות זְ֝קֵנִ֗ים עִם־נְעָרֽ͏ִים׃

Yong men and maidens, also olde men and children:

13 יְהַלְל֤וּ ׀ אֶת־שֵׁ֬ם יְהוָ֗ה כִּֽי־נִשְׂגָּ֣ב שְׁמֹ֣ו לְבַדֹּ֑ו הֹ֝ודֹ֗ו עַל־אֶ֥רֶץ וְשָׁמָֽיִם׃

Let them prayse the Name of the Lord: for his Name onely is to be exalted, and his prayse aboue the earth and the heauens.

14 וַיָּ֤רֶם קֶ֨רֶן ׀ לְעַמֹּ֡ו תְּהִלָּ֤ה לְֽכָל־חֲסִידָ֗יו לִבְנֵ֣י יִ֭שְׂרָאֵל עַֽם־קְרֹבֹ֗ו הַֽלְלוּ־יָֽהּ׃

For he hath exalted the horne of his people, which is a prayse for all his Saintes, euen for the children of Israel, a people that is neere vnto him. Prayse ye the Lord.
