| בְּ֭רִית כָּרַ֣תִּי לְעֵינָ֑י וּמָ֥ה אֶ֝תְבֹּונֵ֗ן עַל־בְּתוּלָֽה׃ | 1 |
covenant to cut: make(covenant) to/for eye my and what? to understand upon virgin
| וּמֶ֤ה ׀ חֵ֣לֶק אֱלֹ֣והַּ מִמָּ֑עַל וְֽנַחֲלַ֥ת שַׁ֝דַּ֗י מִמְּרֹמִֽים׃ | 2 |
and what? portion god from above and inheritance Almighty from height
| הֲלֹא־אֵ֥יד לְעַוָּ֑ל וְ֝נֵ֗כֶר לְפֹ֣עֲלֵי אָֽוֶן׃ | 3 |
not calamity to/for unjust and misfortune to/for to work evil: wickedness
| הֲלֹא־ה֖וּא יִרְאֶ֣ה דְרָכָ֑י וְֽכָל־צְעָדַ֥י יִסְפֹּֽור׃ | 4 |
not he/she/it to see: see way: conduct my and all step my to recount
| אִם־הָלַ֥כְתִּי עִם־שָׁ֑וְא וַתַּ֖חַשׁ עַל־מִרְמָ֣ה רַגְלִֽי׃ | 5 |
if to go: walk with vanity: false and to hasten upon deceit foot my
| יִשְׁקְלֵ֥נִי בְמֹאזְנֵי־צֶ֑דֶק וְיֵדַ֥ע אֱ֝לֹ֗והַּ תֻּמָּתִֽי׃ | 6 |
to weigh me in/on/with balance righteousness and to know god integrity my
| אִ֥ם תִּטֶּ֣ה אַשֻּׁרִי֮ מִנִּ֪י הַ֫דָּ֥רֶךְ וְאַחַ֣ר עֵ֭ינַי הָלַ֣ךְ לִבִּ֑י וּ֝בְכַפַּ֗י דָּ֣בַק מֻאֽוּם׃ פ | 7 |

| אֶ֭זְרְעָה וְאַחֵ֣ר יֹאכֵ֑ל וְֽצֶאֱצָאַ֥י יְשֹׁרָֽשׁוּ׃ | 8 |

| אִם־נִפְתָּ֣ה לִ֭בִּי עַל־אִשָּׁ֑ה וְעַל־פֶּ֖תַח רֵעִ֣י אָרָֽבְתִּי׃ | 9 |
if to entice heart my upon woman and upon entrance neighbor my to ambush
| תִּטְחַ֣ן לְאַחֵ֣ר אִשְׁתִּ֑י וְ֝עָלֶ֗יהָ יִכְרְע֥וּן אֲחֵרִֽין׃ | 10 |
to grind to/for another woman: wife my and upon her to bow [emph?] another
| כִּי־הוּא (הִ֥יא) זִמָּ֑ה וְהִיא (וְ֝ה֗וּא) עָוֹ֥ן פְּלִילִֽים׃ | 11 |

| אִם־אֶרְאֶ֣ה אֹ֖ובֵד מִבְּלִ֣י לְב֑וּשׁ וְאֵ֥ין כְּ֝ס֗וּת לָאֶבְיֹֽון׃ | 19 |

| אִם־לֹ֣א בֵרֲכ֣וּנִי חֲלָצֹו (חֲלָצָ֑יו) וּמִגֵּ֥ז כְּ֝בָשַׂי יִתְחַמָּֽם׃ | 20 |

| אִם־הֲנִיפֹ֣ותִי עַל־יָתֹ֣ום יָדִ֑י כִּֽי־אֶרְאֶ֥ה בַ֝שַּׁ֗עַר עֶזְרָתִֽי׃ | 21 |

| אִם־שַׂ֣מְתִּי זָהָ֣ב כִּסְלִ֑י וְ֝לַכֶּ֗תֶם אָמַ֥רְתִּי מִבְטַחִֽי׃ | 24 |
if to set: make gold loin my and to/for gold to say confidence my
| אִם־אֶ֭שְׂמַח כִּי־רַ֣ב חֵילִ֑י וְכִֽי־כַ֝בִּ֗יר מָצְאָ֥ה יָדִֽי׃ | 25 |
if to rejoice for many strength: rich my and for mighty to find hand my
| אִם־אֶרְאֶ֣ה אֹ֖ור כִּ֣י יָהֵ֑ל וְ֝יָרֵ֗חַ יָקָ֥ר הֹלֵֽךְ׃ | 26 |
if to see: see light for to shine and moon precious to go: walk
| וַיִּ֣פְתְּ בַּסֵּ֣תֶר לִבִּ֑י וַתִּשַּׁ֖ק יָדִ֣י לְפִֽי׃ | 27 |
and to entice in/on/with secrecy heart my and to kiss hand my to/for lip my
| גַּם־ה֖וּא עָוֹ֣ן פְּלִילִ֑י כִּֽי־כִחַ֖שְׁתִּי לָאֵ֣ל מִמָּֽעַל׃ | 28 |
also he/she/it iniquity: crime judge for to deceive to/for God from above
| אִם־אֶ֭שְׂמַח בְּפִ֣יד מְשַׂנְאִ֑י וְ֝הִתְעֹרַ֗רְתִּי כִּֽי־מְצָ֥אֹו רָֽע׃ | 29 |
if to rejoice in/on/with disaster to hate me and to rouse for to find him bad: evil
| וְלֹא־נָתַ֣תִּי לַחֲטֹ֣א חִכִּ֑י לִשְׁאֹ֖ל בְּאָלָ֣ה נַפְשֹֽׁו׃ | 30 |
and not to give: allow to/for to sin palate my to/for to ask in/on/with oath soul: life his
| אִם־לֹ֣א אָ֭מְרוּ מְתֵ֣י אָהֳלִ֑י מִֽי־יִתֵּ֥ן מִ֝בְּשָׂרֹ֗ו לֹ֣א נִשְׂבָּֽע׃ | 31 |

| כִּ֤י אֶֽעֱרֹ֨וץ ׀ הָ֘מֹ֤ון רַבָּ֗ה וּבוּז־מִשְׁפָּחֹ֥ות יְחִתֵּ֑נִי וָ֝אֶדֹּ֗ם לֹא־אֵ֥צֵא פָֽתַח׃ | 34 |
for to tremble crowd many and contempt family to to be dismayed me and to silence: silent not to come out: come entrance
| מִ֤י יִתֶּן־לִ֨י ׀ שֹׁ֘מֵ֤עַֽ לִ֗י הֶן־תָּ֭וִי שַׁדַּ֣י יַעֲנֵ֑נִי וְסֵ֥פֶר כָּ֝תַ֗ב אִ֣ישׁ רִיבִֽי׃ | 35 |

| אִם־לֹ֣א עַל־שִׁ֭כְמִי אֶשָּׂאֶ֑נּוּ אֶֽעֶנְדֶ֖נּוּ עֲטָרֹ֣ות לִֽי׃ | 36 |

| מִסְפַּ֣ר צְ֭עָדַי אַגִּידֶ֑נּוּ כְּמֹו־נָ֝גִ֗יד אֲקָרֲבֶֽנּוּ׃ | 37 |

| אִם־עָ֭לַי אַדְמָתִ֣י תִזְעָ֑ק וְ֝יַ֗חַד תְּלָמֶ֥יהָ יִבְכָּיֽוּן׃ | 38 |
