| וַיִּהְיוּ֙ חַיֵּ֣י שָׂרָ֔ה מֵאָ֥ה שָׁנָ֛ה וְעֶשְׂרִ֥ים שָׁנָ֖ה וְשֶׁ֣בַע שָׁנִ֑ים שְׁנֵ֖י חַיֵּ֥י שָׂרָֽה׃ | 1 |
and to be life Sarah hundred year and twenty year and seven year year life Sarah
| וַתָּ֣מָת שָׂרָ֗ה בְּקִרְיַ֥ת אַרְבַּ֛ע הִ֥וא חֶבְרֹ֖ון בְּאֶ֣רֶץ כְּנָ֑עַן וַיָּבֹא֙ אַבְרָהָ֔ם לִסְפֹּ֥ד לְשָׂרָ֖ה וְלִבְכֹּתָֽהּ׃ | 2 |
and to die Sarah in/on/with Kiriath-arba Kiriath-arba he/she/it Hebron in/on/with land: country/planet Canaan and to come (in): come Abraham to/for to mourn to/for Sarah and to/for to weep her
| וַיָּ֙קָם֙ אַבְרָהָ֔ם מֵעַ֖ל פְּנֵ֣י מֵתֹ֑ו וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר אֶל־בְּנֵי־חֵ֖ת לֵאמֹֽר׃ | 3 |

| גֵּר־וְתֹושָׁ֥ב אָנֹכִ֖י עִמָּכֶ֑ם תְּנ֨וּ לִ֤י אֲחֻזַּת־קֶ֙בֶר֙ עִמָּכֶ֔ם וְאֶקְבְּרָ֥ה מֵתִ֖י מִלְּפָנָֽי׃ | 4 |

| וְעֶפְרֹ֥ון יֹשֵׁ֖ב בְּתֹ֣וךְ בְּנֵי־חֵ֑ת וַיַּעַן֩ עֶפְרֹ֨ון הַחִתִּ֤י אֶת־אַבְרָהָם֙ בְּאָזְנֵ֣י בְנֵי־חֵ֔ת לְכֹ֛ל בָּאֵ֥י שַֽׁעַר־עִירֹ֖ו לֵאמֹֽר׃ | 10 |

| וַיְדַבֵּ֨ר אֶל־עֶפְרֹ֜ון בְּאָזְנֵ֤י עַם־הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר אַ֛ךְ אִם־אַתָּ֥ה ל֖וּ שְׁמָעֵ֑נִי נָתַ֜תִּי כֶּ֤סֶף הַשָּׂדֶה֙ קַ֣ח מִמֶּ֔נִּי וְאֶקְבְּרָ֥ה אֶת־מֵתִ֖י שָֽׁמָּה׃ | 13 |

and to answer Ephron [obj] Abraham to/for to say to/for him
| אֲדֹנִ֣י שְׁמָעֵ֔נִי אֶרֶץ֩ אַרְבַּ֨ע מֵאֹ֧ת שֶֽׁקֶל־כֶּ֛סֶף בֵּינִ֥י וּבֵֽינְךָ֖ מַה־הִ֑וא וְאֶת־מֵתְךָ֖ קְבֹֽר׃ | 15 |

| וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע אַבְרָהָם֮ אֶל־עֶפְרֹון֒ וַיִּשְׁקֹ֤ל אַבְרָהָם֙ לְעֶפְרֹ֔ן אֶת־הַכֶּ֕סֶף אֲשֶׁ֥ר דִּבֶּ֖ר בְּאָזְנֵ֣י בְנֵי־חֵ֑ת אַרְבַּ֤ע מֵאֹות֙ שֶׁ֣קֶל כֶּ֔סֶף עֹבֵ֖ר לַסֹּחֵֽר׃ | 16 |
and to hear: hear Abraham to(wards) Ephron and to weigh Abraham to/for Ephron [obj] [the] silver: money which to speak: promise in/on/with ear: hearing son: descendant/people Heth four hundred shekel silver: money to pass to/for to trade
| וַיָּ֣קָם ׀ שְׂדֵ֣ה עֶפְרֹ֗ון אֲשֶׁר֙ בַּמַּכְפֵּלָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר לִפְנֵ֣י מַמְרֵ֑א הַשָּׂדֶה֙ וְהַמְּעָרָ֣ה אֲשֶׁר־בֹּ֔ו וְכָל־הָעֵץ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בַּשָּׂדֶ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר בְּכָל־גְּבֻלֹ֖ו סָבִֽיב׃ | 17 |
and to arise: establish land: country Ephron which in/on/with Machpelah which to/for face: east Mamre [the] land: country and [the] cave which in/on/with him and all [the] tree which in/on/with land: country which in/on/with all border: area his around: whole
| לְאַבְרָהָ֥ם לְמִקְנָ֖ה לְעֵינֵ֣י בְנֵי־חֵ֑ת בְּכֹ֖ל בָּאֵ֥י שַֽׁעַר־עִירֹֽו׃ | 18 |

| וְאַחֲרֵי־כֵן֩ קָבַ֨ר אַבְרָהָ֜ם אֶת־שָׂרָ֣ה אִשְׁתֹּ֗ו אֶל־מְעָרַ֞ת שְׂדֵ֧ה הַמַּכְפֵּלָ֛ה עַל־פְּנֵ֥י מַמְרֵ֖א הִ֣וא חֶבְרֹ֑ון בְּאֶ֖רֶץ כְּנָֽעַן׃ | 19 |

| וַיָּ֨קָם הַשָּׂדֶ֜ה וְהַמְּעָרָ֧ה אֲשֶׁר־בֹּ֛ו לְאַבְרָהָ֖ם לַאֲחֻזַּת־קָ֑בֶר מֵאֵ֖ת בְּנֵי־חֵֽת׃ ס | 20 |
and to arise: establish [the] land: country and [the] cave which in/on/with him to/for Abraham to/for possession grave from with son: descendant/people Heth
