קֹהֶלֶת 11

1 שַׁלַּ֥ח לַחְמְךָ֖ עַל־פְּנֵ֣י הַמָּ֑יִם כִּֽי־בְרֹ֥ב הַיָּמִ֖ים תִּמְצָאֶֽנּוּ׃

Send bread your on [the] surface of the waters for in [the] abundance of days you will find it.

2 תֶּן־חֵ֥לֶק לְשִׁבְעָ֖ה וְגַ֣ם לִשְׁמֹונָ֑ה כִּ֚י לֹ֣א תֵדַ֔ע מַה־יִּהְיֶ֥ה רָעָ֖ה עַל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃

Give a portion to seven and also to eight for not you know what? will it be calamity on the earth.

3 אִם־יִמָּלְא֨וּ הֶעָבִ֥ים גֶּ֙שֶׁם֙ עַל־הָאָ֣רֶץ יָרִ֔יקוּ וְאִם־יִפֹּ֥ול עֵ֛ץ בַּדָּרֹ֖ום וְאִ֣ם בַּצָּפֹ֑ון מְקֹ֛ום שֶׁיִּפֹּ֥ול הָעֵ֖ץ שָׁ֥ם יְהֽוּא׃

If they will be filled the clouds rain on the earth they will pour [it] out and whether it falls a tree at the south and or at the north [the] place where it falls the tree there it will be.

4 שֹׁמֵ֥ר ר֖וּחַ לֹ֣א יִזְרָ֑ע וְרֹאֶ֥ה בֶעָבִ֖ים לֹ֥א יִקְצֹֽור׃

[one who] watches for A wind not he will sow and [one who] looks on the clouds not he will reap.

5 כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר אֵֽינְךָ֤ יֹודֵ֙עַ֙ מַה־דֶּ֣רֶךְ הָר֔וּחַ כַּעֲצָמִ֖ים בְּבֶ֣טֶן הַמְּלֵאָ֑ה כָּ֗כָה לֹ֤א תֵדַע֙ אֶת־מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר יַעֲשֶׂ֖ה אֶת־הַכֹּֽל׃

Just as not you [are] knowing what? [is] [the] way of the wind like bones in [the] womb of the full [woman] thus not you know [the] work of God who he makes everything.

6 בַּבֹּ֙קֶר֙ זְרַ֣ע אֶת־זַרְעֶ֔ךָ וְלָעֶ֖רֶב אַל־תַּנַּ֣ח יָדֶ֑ךָ כִּי֩ אֵֽינְךָ֨ יֹודֵ֜ע אֵ֣י זֶ֤ה יִכְשָׁר֙ הֲזֶ֣ה אֹו־זֶ֔ה וְאִם־שְׁנֵיהֶ֥ם כְּאֶחָ֖ד טֹובִֽים׃

In the morning sow seed your and to the evening may not you give rest to hand your for not you [are] knowing where? this will it succeed ¿ this or? this and or? [will] both of them as one [be] good.

7 וּמָתֹ֖וק הָאֹ֑ור וְטֹ֥וב לַֽעֵינַ֖יִם לִרְאֹ֥ות אֶת־הַשָּֽׁמֶשׁ׃

And [is] sweet the light and [is] good for the eyes to see the sun.

8 כִּ֣י אִם־שָׁנִ֥ים הַרְבֵּ֛ה יִחְיֶ֥ה הָאָדָ֖ם בְּכֻלָּ֣ם יִשְׂמָ֑ח וְיִזְכֹּר֙ אֶת־יְמֵ֣י הַחֹ֔שֶׁךְ כִּֽי־הַרְבֵּ֥ה יִהְי֖וּ כָּל־שֶׁבָּ֥א הָֽבֶל׃

That except years [surely] a multitude will live person in all of them let him be take pleasure and he may remember [the] days of darkness for [surely] many will be all that has come [is] futility.

9 שְׂמַ֧ח בָּח֣וּר בְּיַלְדוּתֶ֗יךָ וִֽיטִֽיבְךָ֤ לִבְּךָ֙ בִּימֵ֣י בְחוּרֹותֶ֔ךָ וְהַלֵּךְ֙ בְּדַרְכֵ֣י לִבְּךָ֔ וּבְמַרְאֵ֖י עֵינֶ֑יךָ וְדָ֕ע כִּ֧י עַל־כָּל־אֵ֛לֶּה יְבִֽיאֲךָ֥ הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים בַּמִּשְׁפָּֽט׃

Rejoice O young man in youth your and let it make good you heart your in [the] days of youth your and walk in [the] ways of heart your and in [the] sight of eyes your and know that on all these [things] he will bring you God in judgment.

10 וְהָסֵ֥ר כַּ֙עַס֙ מִלִּבֶּ֔ךָ וְהַעֲבֵ֥ר רָעָ֖ה מִבְּשָׂרֶ֑ךָ כִּֽי־הַיַּלְד֥וּת וְהַֽשַּׁחֲר֖וּת הָֽבֶל׃

And remove vexation from heart your and put away evil from flesh your for youth and the black hair [are] futility.
