עָמוֹס 9

1 רָאִ֨יתִי אֶת־אֲדֹנָ֜י נִצָּ֣ב עַֽל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֗חַ וַיֹּאמֶר֩ הַ֨ךְ הַכַּפְתֹּ֜ור וְיִרְעֲשׁ֣וּ הַסִּפִּ֗ים וּבְצַ֙עַם֙ בְּרֹ֣אשׁ כֻּלָּ֔ם וְאַחֲרִיתָ֖ם בַּחֶ֣רֶב אֶהֱרֹ֑ג לֹֽא־יָנ֤וּס לָהֶם֙ נָ֔ס וְלֹֽא־יִמָּלֵ֥ט לָהֶ֖ם פָּלִֽיט׃

to see: see [obj] Lord to stand upon [the] altar and to say to smite [the] capital and to shake [the] threshold and to cut off them in/on/with head all their and end their in/on/with sword to kill not to flee to/for them to flee and not to escape to/for them survivor

2 אִם־יַחְתְּר֣וּ בִשְׁאֹ֔ול מִשָּׁ֖ם יָדִ֣י תִקָּחֵ֑ם וְאִֽם־יַעֲלוּ֙ הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם מִשָּׁ֖ם אֹורִידֵֽם׃ (Sheol h7585)

if to dig in/on/with hell: Sheol from there hand: power my to take: take them and if to ascend: rise [the] heaven from there to go down them (Sheol h7585)

3 וְאִם־יֵחָֽבְאוּ֙ בְּרֹ֣אשׁ הַכַּרְמֶ֔ל מִשָּׁ֥ם אֲחַפֵּ֖שׂ וּלְקַחְתִּ֑ים וְאִם־יִסָּ֨תְר֜וּ מִנֶּ֤גֶד עֵינַי֙ בְּקַרְקַ֣ע הַיָּ֔ם מִשָּׁ֛ם אֲצַוֶּ֥ה אֶת־הַנָּחָ֖שׁ וּנְשָׁכָֽם׃

and if to hide in/on/with head: top [the] Carmel from there to search and to take: take them and if to hide from before eye: seeing my in/on/with floor [the] sea from there to command [obj] [the] serpent and to bite them

4 וְאִם־יֵלְכ֤וּ בַשְּׁבִי֙ לִפְנֵ֣י אֹֽיבֵיהֶ֔ם מִשָּׁ֛ם אֲצַוֶּ֥ה אֶת־הַחֶ֖רֶב וַהֲרָגָ֑תַם וְשַׂמְתִּ֨י עֵינִ֧י עֲלֵיהֶ֛ם לְרָעָ֖ה וְלֹ֥א לְטֹובָֽה׃

and if to go: went in/on/with captivity to/for face: before enemy their from there to command [obj] [the] sword and to kill them and to set: make eye my upon them to/for distress: evil and not to/for welfare

5 וַאדֹנָ֨י יְהוִ֜ה הַצְּבָאֹ֗ות הַנֹּוגֵ֤עַ בָּאָ֙רֶץ֙ וַתָּמֹ֔וג וְאָבְל֖וּ כָּל־יֹ֣ושְׁבֵי בָ֑הּ וְעָלְתָ֤ה כַיְאֹר֙ כֻּלָּ֔הּ וְשָׁקְעָ֖ה כִּיאֹ֥ר מִצְרָֽיִם׃

and Lord YHWH/God [the] Hosts [the] to touch in/on/with land: country/planet and to melt and to mourn all to dwell in/on/with her and to ascend: rise like/as Nile all her and to sink like/as Nile Egypt

6 הַבֹּונֶ֤ה בַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ מַעֲלֹותֹו (מַעֲלֹותָ֔יו) וַאֲגֻדָּתֹ֖ו עַל־אֶ֣רֶץ יְסָדָ֑הּ הַקֹּרֵ֣א לְמֵֽי־הַיָּ֗ם וַֽיִּשְׁפְּכֵ֛ם עַל־פְּנֵ֥י הָאָ֖רֶץ יְהוָ֥ה שְׁמֹֽו׃

7 הֲלֹ֣וא כִבְנֵי֩ כֻשִׁיִּ֨ים אַתֶּ֥ם לִ֛י בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל נְאֻם־יְהוָ֑ה הֲלֹ֣וא אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל הֶעֱלֵ֙יתִי֙ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֔יִם וּפְלִשְׁתִּיִּ֥ים מִכַּפְתֹּ֖ור וַאֲרָ֥ם מִקִּֽיר׃

8 הִנֵּ֞ה עֵינֵ֣י ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֗ה בַּמַּמְלָכָה֙ הַֽחַטָּאָ֔ה וְהִשְׁמַדְתִּ֣י אֹתָ֔הּ מֵעַ֖ל פְּנֵ֣י הָאֲדָמָ֑ה אֶ֗פֶס כִּ֠י לֹ֣א הַשְׁמֵ֥יד אַשְׁמִ֛יד אֶת־בֵּ֥ית יַעֲקֹ֖ב נְאֻם־יְהוָֽה׃

9 כִּֽי־הִנֵּ֤ה אָֽנֹכִי֙ מְצַוֶּ֔ה וַהֲנִעֹ֥ותִי בְכָֽל־הַגֹּויִ֖ם אֶת־בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר יִנֹּ֙ועַ֙ בַּכְּבָרָ֔ה וְלֹֽא־יִפֹּ֥ול צְרֹ֖ור אָֽרֶץ׃

10 בַּחֶ֣רֶב יָמ֔וּתוּ כֹּ֖ל חַטָּאֵ֣י עַמִּ֑י הָאֹמְרִ֗ים לֹֽא־תַגִּ֧ישׁ וְתַקְדִּ֛ים בַּעֲדֵ֖ינוּ הָרָעָֽה׃

in/on/with sword to die all sinner people my [the] to say not to approach: approach and to meet about/through/for us [the] distress: harm

11 בַּיֹּ֣ום הַה֔וּא אָקִ֛ים אֶת־סֻכַּ֥ת דָּוִ֖יד הַנֹּפֶ֑לֶת וְגָדַרְתִּ֣י אֶת־פִּרְצֵיהֶ֗ן וַהֲרִֽסֹתָיו֙ אָקִ֔ים וּבְנִיתִ֖יהָ כִּימֵ֥י עֹולָֽם׃

12 לְמַ֨עַן יִֽירְשׁ֜וּ אֶת־שְׁאֵרִ֤ית אֱדֹום֙ וְכָל־הַגֹּויִ֔ם אֲשֶׁר־נִקְרָ֥א שְׁמִ֖י עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם נְאֻם־יְהוָ֖ה עֹ֥שֶׂה זֹּֽאת׃ פ

because to possess: possess [obj] remnant Edom and all [the] nation which to call: call by name my upon them utterance LORD to make: do this

13 הִנֵּ֨ה יָמִ֤ים בָּאִים֙ נְאֻם־יְהוָ֔ה וְנִגַּ֤שׁ חֹורֵשׁ֙ בַּקֹּצֵ֔ר וְדֹרֵ֥ךְ עֲנָבִ֖ים בְּמֹשֵׁ֣ךְ הַזָּ֑רַע וְהִטִּ֤יפוּ הֶֽהָרִים֙ עָסִ֔יס וְכָל־הַגְּבָעֹ֖ות תִּתְמֹוגַֽגְנָה׃

behold day to come (in): come utterance LORD and to approach: approach to plow/plot in/on/with to reap and to tread grape in/on/with to draw [the] seed and to drip/prophesy [the] mountain: mount sweet and all [the] hill to melt

14 וְשַׁבְתִּי֮ אֶת־שְׁב֣וּת עַמִּ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵל֒ וּבָנ֞וּ עָרִ֤ים נְשַׁמֹּות֙ וְיָשָׁ֔בוּ וְנָטְע֣וּ כְרָמִ֔ים וְשָׁת֖וּ אֶת־יֵינָ֑ם וְעָשׂ֣וּ גַנֹּ֔ות וְאָכְל֖וּ אֶת־פְּרִיהֶֽם׃

and to return: rescue [obj] captivity people my Israel and to build city be desolate: destroyed and to dwell and to plant vineyard and to drink [obj] wine their and to make garden and to eat [obj] fruit their

15 וּנְטַעְתִּ֖ים עַל־אַדְמָתָ֑ם וְלֹ֨א יִנָּתְשׁ֜וּ עֹ֗וד מֵעַ֤ל אַדְמָתָם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר נָתַ֣תִּי לָהֶ֔ם אָמַ֖ר יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃

and to plant them upon land: soil their and not to uproot still from upon land: soil their which to give: give to/for them to say LORD God your
