1 שְׁמוּאֵל 29

1 וַיִּקְבְּצ֧וּ פְלִשְׁתִּ֛ים אֶת־כָּל־מַחֲנֵיהֶ֖ם אֲפֵ֑קָה וְיִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל חֹנִ֔ים בַּעַ֖יִן אֲשֶׁ֥ר בְּיִזְרְעֶֽאל׃

and to gather Philistine [obj] all camp their Aphek [to] and Israel to camp in/on/with spring which in/on/with Jezreel

2 וְסַרְנֵ֤י פְלִשְׁתִּים֙ עֹֽבְרִ֔ים לְמֵאֹ֖ות וְלַאֲלָפִ֑ים וְדָוִ֣ד וַאֲנָשָׁ֗יו עֹֽבְרִ֛ים בָּאַחֲרֹנָ֖ה עִם־אָכִֽישׁ׃

and lord Philistine to pass to/for hundred and to/for thousand and David and human his to pass in/on/with last with Achish

3 וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙ שָׂרֵ֣י פְלִשְׁתִּ֔ים מָ֖ה הָעִבְרִ֣ים הָאֵ֑לֶּה וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אָכִ֜ישׁ אֶל־שָׂרֵ֣י פְלִשְׁתִּ֗ים הֲלֹֽוא־זֶ֨ה דָוִ֜ד עֶ֣בֶד ׀ שָׁא֣וּל מֶֽלֶךְ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל אֲשֶׁ֨ר הָיָ֤ה אִתִּי֙ זֶ֤ה יָמִים֙ אֹו־זֶ֣ה שָׁנִ֔ים וְלֹֽא־מָצָ֤אתִי בֹו֙ מְא֔וּמָה מִיֹּ֥ום נָפְלֹ֖ו עַד־הַיֹּ֥ום הַזֶּֽה׃ פ

and to say ruler Philistine what? 4 וַיִּקְצְפ֨וּ עָלָ֜יו שָׂרֵ֣י פְלִשְׁתִּ֗ים וַיֹּ֣אמְרוּ לֹו֩ שָׂרֵ֨י פְלִשְׁתִּ֜ים הָשֵׁ֣ב אֶת־הָאִ֗ישׁ וְיָשֹׁב֙ אֶל־מְקֹומֹו֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הִפְקַדְתֹּ֣ו שָׁ֔ם וְלֹֽא־יֵרֵ֤ד עִמָּ֙נוּ֙ בַּמִּלְחָמָ֔ה וְלֹא־יִֽהְיֶה־לָּ֥נוּ לְשָׂטָ֖ן בַּמִּלְחָמָ֑ה וּבַמֶּ֗ה יִתְרַצֶּ֥ה זֶה֙ אֶל־אֲדֹנָ֔יו הֲלֹ֕וא בְּרָאשֵׁ֖י הָאֲנָשִׁ֥ים הָהֵֽם׃

5 הֲלֹוא־זֶ֣ה דָוִ֔ד אֲשֶׁ֧ר יַעֲנוּ־לֹ֛ו בַּמְּחֹלֹ֖ות לֵאמֹ֑ר הִכָּ֤ה שָׁאוּל֙ בַּֽאֲלָפָ֔יו וְדָוִ֖ד בְּרִבְבֹתֹו (בְּרִבְבֹתָֽיו)׃ ס

not this David which to sing to/for him in/on/with dance to/for to say to smite Saul in/on/with thousand his and David (in/on/with myriad his *QK)

6 וַיִּקְרָ֨א אָכִ֜ישׁ אֶל־דָּוִ֗ד וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵ֠לָיו חַי־יְהוָ֞ה כִּי־יָשָׁ֣ר אַתָּ֗ה וְטֹ֣וב בְּ֠עֵינַי צֵאתְךָ֙ וּבֹאֲךָ֤ אִתִּי֙ בַּֽמַּחֲנֶ֔ה כִּ֠י לֹֽא־מָצָ֤אתִֽי בְךָ֙ רָעָ֔ה מִיֹּ֛ום בֹּאֲךָ֥ אֵלַ֖י עַד־הַיֹּ֣ום הַזֶּ֑ה וּבְעֵינֵ֥י הַסְּרָנִ֖ים לֹֽא־טֹ֥וב אָֽתָּה׃

and to call: call to Achish to(wards) David and to say to(wards) him alive LORD for upright you(m. s.) and pleasant in/on/with eye: appearance my to come out: come you and to come (in): come you with me in/on/with camp for not to find in/on/with you distress: evil from day: today to come (in): come you to(wards) me till [the] day: today [the] this and in/on/with eye: appearance [the] lord not pleasant you(m. s.)

7 וְעַתָּ֥ה שׁ֖וּב וְלֵ֣ךְ בְּשָׁלֹ֑ום וְלֹֽא־תַעֲשֶׂ֣ה רָ֔ע בְּעֵינֵ֖י סַרְנֵ֥י פְלִשְׁתִּֽים׃ ס

and now to return: return and to go: went in/on/with peace and not to make: [do] bad: evil in/on/with eye: appearance lord Philistine

8 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר דָּוִ֜ד אֶל־אָכִ֗ישׁ כִּ֣י מֶ֤ה עָשִׂ֙יתִי֙ וּמַה־מָּצָ֣אתָ בְעַבְדְּךָ֔ מִיֹּום֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הָיִ֣יתִי לְפָנֶ֔יךָ עַ֖ד הַיֹּ֣ום הַזֶּ֑ה כִּ֣י לֹ֤א אָבֹוא֙ וְנִלְחַ֔מְתִּי בְּאֹיְבֵ֖י אֲדֹנִ֥י הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃

and to say David to(wards) Achish for what? to make: do and what? to find in/on/with servant/slave your from day which to be to/for face: before your till [the] day: today [the] this for not to come (in): come and to fight in/on/with enemy lord my [the] king

9 וַיַּ֣עַן אָכִישׁ֮ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֶל־דָּוִד֒ יָדַ֕עְתִּי כִּ֣י טֹ֥וב אַתָּ֛ה בְּעֵינַ֖י כְּמַלְאַ֣ךְ אֱלֹהִ֑ים אַ֣ךְ שָׂרֵ֤י פְלִשְׁתִּים֙ אָֽמְר֔וּ לֹֽא־יַעֲלֶ֥ה עִמָּ֖נוּ בַּמִּלְחָמָֽה׃

and to answer Achish and to say to(wards) David to know for pleasant you(m. s.) in/on/with eye: seeing my like/as messenger: angel God surely ruler Philistine to say not to ascend: rise with us in/on/with battle

10 וְעַתָּה֙ הַשְׁכֵּ֣ם בַּבֹּ֔קֶר וְעַבְדֵ֥י אֲדֹנֶ֖יךָ אֲשֶׁר־בָּ֣אוּ אִתָּ֑ךְ וְהִשְׁכַּמְתֶּ֣ם בַּבֹּ֔קֶר וְאֹ֥ור לָכֶ֖ם וָלֵֽכוּ׃

and now to rise in/on/with morning and servant/slave lord your which to come (in): come with you and to rise in/on/with morning and to light to/for you and to go: went

11 וַיַּשְׁכֵּ֨ם דָּוִ֜ד ה֤וּא וַֽאֲנָשָׁיו֙ לָלֶ֣כֶת בַּבֹּ֔קֶר לָשׁ֖וּב אֶל־אֶ֣רֶץ פְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים וּפְלִשְׁתִּ֖ים עָל֥וּ יִזְרְעֶֽאל׃ ס

and to rise David he/she/it and human his to/for to go: walk in/on/with morning to/for to return: return to(wards) land: country/planet Philistine and Philistine to ascend: rise Jezreel
