< Halelu 15 >

1 E IEHOVA, owai ka mea o noho iloko o kou halelewa? Owai hoi ka mea e noho ma kou mauna hoano?
“A psalm of David.” Lord, who may sojourn in thy tent? who may dwell on thy holy mount?
2 O ka mea i hele ma ka pololei a i hana ma ka pono; A i olelo hoi ma ka oiaio iloko o kona naau:
He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart;
3 Aole i aki me kona alelo, aole hoi i hana hewa i kona hoapili, Aole hoi i lawe i ka mea e hoinoia'i kona hoalauna.
That uttereth no calumny with his tongue, that doth no evil to his neighbor, and bringeth no reproach on his fellow-man;
4 A imua o kona maka i hoowahawahaia'i ke kanaka ino; Aka, ua mahalo no oia i ka poe e makau ia Iehova; A hoohiki no kona pono iho aole nae i lole hou ae:
In whose eyes the despicable is despised; but that honoreth those who fear the Lord; that sweareth to his own injury, and changeth not;
5 Aole i ho aku i kana moni no ka uku hoopanee; Aole hoi i lawe i ke kipe i hewa'i ka mea pono. O ka mea i hana ia mau mea, aole loa oia e kulanalana.
That putteth not out his money for interest, and taketh no bribe against the innocent. He that doth these things shall not be moved to eternity.
