ગીતશાસ્ત્ર 96

1 ૧ યહોવાહની આગળ નવું ગીત ગાઓ; આખી પૃથ્વી, યહોવાહની આગળ ગાઓ.

O sing to the LORD a new song: sing to the LORD, all the earth.

2 ૨ યહોવાહની આગળ ગાઓ, તેમના નામની પ્રશંસા કરો; તેમના દ્વારા મળતો ઉદ્ધાર દિનપ્રતિદિન પ્રગટ કરો.

Sing to the LORD, bless his name; show forth his salvation from day to day.

3 ૩ વિદેશીઓમાં તેમનો મહિમા પ્રગટ કરો, સર્વ લોકોમાં તેમના ચમત્કાર, જાહેર કરો.

Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.

4 ૪ કારણ કે યહોવાહ મહાન છે અને બહુ સ્તુત્ય છે. સર્વ દેવો કરતાં તે ભયાવહ છે.

For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.

5 ૫ કેમ કે લોકોના સર્વ દેવો મૂર્તિઓ જ છે, પણ યહોવાહે, આકાશોને ઉત્પન્ન કર્યાં.

For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.

6 ૬ ભવ્યતા અને મહિમા તેમની હજૂરમાં છે. સામર્થ્ય તથા સૌંદર્ય તેમના પવિત્રસ્થાનમાં છે.

Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

7 ૭ લોકોનાં કુળો, યહોવાહની સ્તુતિ કરો, ગૌરવ તથા સામર્થ્ય યહોવાહને આપો.

Give to the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give to the LORD glory and strength.

8 ૮ યહોવાહના નામને શોભતું ગૌરવ તેમને આપો. અર્પણ લઈને તેમના આંગણામાં આવો.

Give to the LORD the glory due to his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.

9 ૯ પવિત્રતાની સુંદરતાએ યહોવાહને ભજો. આખી પૃથ્વી, તેમની આગળ કંપો.

O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

10 ૧૦ વિદેશીઓમાં કહો, “યહોવાહ રાજ કરે છે.” જગત પણ એવી રીતે સ્થાપન કરવામાં આવ્યું છે કે તે ખસેડી શકાય નહિ. તે યથાર્થપણે લોકોનો ન્યાય કરશે.

Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.

11 ૧૧ આકાશો આનંદ કરો અને પૃથ્વી હરખાઓ; સમુદ્ર તથા તેનું ભરપૂરીપણું ગાજો.

Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and all it containeth.

12 ૧૨ ખેતરો અને તેમાં જે કંઈ છે, તે સર્વ આનંદ કરો. વનનાં સર્વ વૃક્ષો હર્ષ સાથે

Let the field be joyful, and all that is in it: then shall all the trees of the forest rejoice

13 ૧૩ યહોવાહની આગળ ગાઓ, કેમ કે તે આવે છે. તે પૃથ્વીનો ન્યાય કરવા આવે છે. તે પ્રમાણિકપણે જગતનો અને વિશ્વાસુપણે લોકોનો ન્યાય કરશે.

Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.
